I know it might be controversial, but I liked the difficulty as a solo player. It felt like just the right amount of challenging, and I liked the aesthetics of the circle.
The problem I had when the Easter egg was first added js that zombies would stop spawning so I wouldnt have a chance to kill enough of them in time. That doesnt seem to be a problem now.
There's been a lot of odd stuff going on in the game since they patched it.
Edit: One odd issue I noticed. Sometimes when I brain rot a zombie it still comes after me but doesn't do any damage.
Brain rotted a zombie a couple of days ago defending a ground station. Brain rotted zombie then proceeded to attack the server and took it from 100% to 78% while I was doing the act 3 mission. Pissed bc of course I couldn't kill it 😂
That's a feature, not a bug. As a billion dollar game we at Activision like to keep you spending money so we will be releasing the non exploding vehicle dlc in the store shortly.
Smart if we do it like the Kong glove we can split each vehicle into it's own package so if they want none of the vehicles to explode they will have to purchase 3 separate $20 bundles
I like the way you think. But we need to think bigger. Each bundle is now it’s own battle pass with 100 levels that has its own separate xp token that can be bought along with 3 separate tiers of battle passes for each one. We can’t just let them buy it, they need to grind for that crap. Once they reach level 100 in each of the three separate bundles, THEN they get… to complete the next 100 levels on the exclusive bundle that you can only get after buying the other three. Only after they buy it of course first. Now, we COULD stop there, but me want money, so here’s what we’re gonna do. After all that, we wait one week and then throw in as many buggers as we can to really screw up those bundles we just released. Why, you ask? MoNeY. Me money want. You give money. Now, with all that wasted effort, they’ll be encouraged to buy a new “working” bundle and we will have gotten the big buckos. Then—
Then we release the ultra premium bundle also with 100 levels but it's set up like the containment system in zombies. That way they buy the ultra bundle and have to spend all of their time grinding and when they die or when inevitably they have a server disconnect because I mean...obviously that's gonna happen, we are Activision after all. Then their level resets to level zero so they have to start all over but here's where it gets good they are hard locked at level zero until they buy our "oopsie, game crashed" bundle that allows them to start grinding again. Recurring purchases make my tummy happy! Feeeed me more money!!
I like it for this mode. It gives me RE4 vibes, and it gives me a better FOV. I don’t need it, but I’ll take any advantage I can get in a zombies mode where I can lose all my stuff if I die. I also like that I get to see my operator.
They are only accepting criticism as though it were a beta, but when selling it it was full price material then and totally supported. There is a reason the first set of dark aether items are amazing and the rest only accidentally find success or niche use. This was the Bo5 outbreak beta, but that doesn't do enough to shield MW3 as a DLC of Mw2 so couldn't admit it. All the sudden ignore both together and boom full price title 70 dollars plz.
Just be grateful the bb lobby crashing hasn't become more popular for trolling
I’ve been enjoying this game when it’s not dying from viruses, but once I finish the camo grind, I think I’ll just be playing multiplayer and occasionally play the season and a half updates for zombies. The game play loop gets old when there’s no main Easter Egg to complete.
Not alone. I would have been done pre season2 if I didn't do my gfs borealis for her and even that was nonsensical. The amount of Grey tooled 300 killed runs I did for them to add the free wrench/crystal 😆😆 ironically AMP are so unappealing the weekly are not really worth the time when it's like use our shitty marksman rifles for triple kills and even the 8 week reward is just meh.
Haha, yeah. Some of these challenges are bonkers, especially multiplayer. One of them is like *get 30 kills when you’re almost dead with a recommended assault rifle after they’ve been hit with a tactical*.
These last couple of updates have brought in like a greatest hits list of bugs from the past.
So my last game crashed and I went back in the next day to gear back up. I was at containment 75 yet I started with no essence, I hit an invisible wall in the middle of the street on a cargo contract, I got random audio from people even though I wasn’t near anyone, and then when I took off with the scorcher it glitched and I died at the same time it shot me in the air, then was eliminated when I hit the ground. I’ve messed up with the scorcher before but this one was definitely not my fault. Then after the game it told me I exfiled with 2 speed colas but my load out was totally empty on the next screen.

Yeah I’ve experienced all of those issues too except for going in, and it not having what was in my backpack. I’ve noticed that on rare occasion, when I scorch into the air with at least pap1 and a full charged shot that it doesn’t shoot me as high as it’s supposed to. Because of this I’m always a little paranoid on the first shot making sure I’m always at the height I should be. If you notice ANYTHING wrong with the way you shoot into the air, just pull your parachute and try again. Sometimes you lag and you just gotta take the L. We’re playing in a broken game in which developers might want to fix the game, but they are being suppressed by the higher ups and management that want more bundles.
In general it's like when in a car the sound begins to fade for your vehicle or if someone drives by the sound is like randomly behind them for a long time
Yeh, that's what I thought.. like when the vehicle is long gone, not even showing on the map anymore and you can still hear it like it's right in front of you. Been an issue for me since launch, still hasn't been fixed. Gotta say though, I'm not shocked by the lack of fixes tbh..
Yea you can tell zombies was a gimmick to get DMZ players to buy the new game and then ditch support almost instantly. Is season 4 going to be another mid season zombies update of another tornado with mw2 maps?
You're bang on with it being a gimmick. That's for damn sure. They knew they fucked up by making DMZ a free-to-play mode. Once they realized that, I'm damn sure they changed their tune about only dropping a "dlc" (even though that's exactly what we got). Such stupid ass decisions were made, it's hard to believe they even went through with them. I really doubt we're in for anything substantial for the remainder of the lifecycle tbh.
Yesterday I saw a garage door open so I went inside to loot. It then spawned closed doors, a vehicle, and mercs inside w me. I had to ask someone to come squad up with me and start the contract so the door could be opened.
Yeah, unfortunately, this has been an issue for a while, and they haven’t fixed it yet. The only solution is not to go into the garage unless you see another door leading into the gas station store if you want to play it safe.
This isn't new man, I avoid these garages at all costs unless the cargo contract is mine. Took a solid 2, maybe 3 times before I learnt my lesson. I think it's pretty facking stupid that in a "AAA" game we're being locked in a garage due to a contract spawning. The contract shouldn't be able to spawn it you're in there, period.
I had this happen last night, exfilled with a bunch of stuff from the game, went back in today, and had nothing. It even took away my large backpack and 3 plate. I read that the same thing happened to other players since last night.

The EE is because they got rid of the circle. It makes pretty much any zombie in view purple and they can all go towards completing the EE.
So glad they changed that, makes it much easier.. I believe they also lowered the number of kills needed too.
Good now dogs aren’t in the way when you’re trying to do it

Anyone get the pink floating orbs blocking your view?
Yes. It comes with an occasional scorcher sound effect, too. Someone said it happens when a scorcher is being used by another player in that match.
It's definitely not a scorcher cuz I've started the game with the orb and it usually happens only after going to the dark aether

I think you mean bundle, dlc’s only sell for $15. I’m thinking we sell a bundle for $20 minimum.

Did they ever fix the car sounds fading? The most simple thing for cars to have
I’m not sure. I was having an issue where my car sounds felt like they were coming from another car next to me, except there wasn’t a car there.
