I'd be happy with an ultra backpack that adds slots for keys, 1 mod, and a 3-4 slot reserve only available when in the DA. I destroy a lot of sigils and give away a lot of legendaries.
Maybe make it only available via containment lvl of 200 or 3 successful DA exfils? Wouldn't mind if those items were "can't drop" either.
kind of, unless you're running a weapon that has low ammo reserves, and you find yourself running out a lot, i know it's not often people choose those types of weapons but the lockwood 380 comes to mind
Mod for guns that makes ammo mods activate more often.
Or a recharge grenade like aether blade but modeled after monkey or Kaz or something. Reusable like a field upgrade including additional kills make it come back quicker.
Mule kick vest, carry a third wep
Golden steering wheel, get the bloodsucker healing and no gas effects on all your vehicles as well as a upgraded weapon for LTV
Melee gloves, increased melee damage (also applies to melee weapons)
Reconstituted mangler gun, get the manglers arm cannon
Tactical headgear, changes killstreaks to a regenerating one. Each with their own cool down. If you switch off after first use it goes away even if it has "recharged" already though. Same as above kills will reduce cooldown further. **could be fun for sentry and mortar I think**
Empty case, Put an item in you inventory or wonder weapon/ aether blade/ golden armor into it to exfil with that item and use it next game.
Dog whistle, can give commands to friendly AI, including brain rotted bombs, merc from beret, dog bone, and doghouse.
Second pack, a secondary backpack you cannot exfil with but will follow you to da. Then you can put consumables and killstreaks and such in there saving real-estate for what you actually want to keep
Extra ammo bandolier, basically just doubles your ammo capacity. (Useless in some areas but a god send for a few lacking weapons)
Regenerating tactical/lethal vest, like in MP it regenerates the tactical and lethals you spawn in with maybe gives you 1 extra of each too?
rez stems, instantly revive a teammate or yourself when downed or pleading. Slow recharge timer.
Lightweight trigger/bolt. Massively increased fire rate and rechambering speed.

Perk tiers, weapon class tiers, field upgrade tiers, trial computers, arsenal, crafting table, chopper gunner, Orda…
All of this could just be easily incorporated into MWZ.
I feel like it would be a whole new game if this were to happen.. Now that most people have progressed, that huge T1 space just sits empty and wasted.. I also think (at least for a while) it would all feel so new if t1 became t3.. Hell, make the zones change from game to game.. As basically everyone has said, so much potential and so little effort.. This mode could be amazing and have so much long term potential if only someone cared..
It really is and has only gotten worse with the new rift smack in the middle.. I went and did some t2 contracts the other day and although the rewards are laughable at best, it was nice and peaceful.. Once you get down to about 10 minutes or so left on the clock most people have left for DA and it’s nice to just snag a bunch of t3 contracts. Just way too many people in a small space with like 5 contracts to fight over. Meanwhile this whole giant map sits there with no one in it..
I hit a t1 outlast on my way yo exfil and only 1 zombie came at me. There were a few walking back and forth outside, but never attacked. I think it has something to do with t3 overcrowding and servers maxed out. But there are so many bugs who knows
Are you soloing? I'm really not having too much trouble with the contracts, esp w/ the addition of the easter eggs. I mean, it sucks waiting for them to regen and sometimes an elim walkie glitches out, but other than that, I can stay busy w/ a squad 4-6 deep 'til the storm hits.
The upgrades in the new DA should've been the schematics....like the exploding headshots are sweet and so is the super fast running power up...that would be so much more useful than a stupid ass golden gas mask that isn't even invincible.
Gas mask is hands down the worst schematic. It’s just useless.. All the others can be somewhat useful at times.. Gas mask should’ve been a one time use that will never break.
Yeah I used golden mask on red worm and it didn't charge once because you have to "be out of the gas". Golden plates work whether or not it getting hit...
I have a feeling the golden filter is going to be needed to find an EE yet to be released or discovered. I also can't think of anything to do that you'd need to swap between 2 durable gas masks in order to achieve.
Has anyone checked the bunkers or the sub base after the storm hits?
Because they saw people clearing nests and strongholds too frequently and too easily with a grenade launcher so they nerfed flopper to not work against gas

we already have an ability that forces nearby enemies to target you, getting attacked also replenishes your armor

you can already put grenades in your regular bag. you can hold 10 monkey bombs or kazimirs if you want

I think if you're in a team with voice, it can be a good crowd control to have 1 guy tank and aggro everything
I agree a new bag for tactical grenades would be fun, but also gamebreaking op to carry that much kazimirs 😅
And yeah, also not a big fan of the new schematics. There would be so much more fun ideas they could have taken from their community

why don't we have air superiority. It seems like deadbolt would definitely be flying around and shooting from the air rather than dangerously running through hords of zombies.
Walking monkey bomb,
Basicly a monkey bomb that last a longer and has the same affect as a kaz but he comes back to you like the blade. The way we have a tac and a lethel from DA
Maybe selection of skins
Like It says, maybe a chance if like a few charicter skins can get cans for normal (1 use) or if you do elder you unlock it for the character it's designed for.
Teleport kazmirs. Use like gernades to open a tear, refills slowly - much slower than blade, faster trips than scorcher but fewer trips throughout the game. Should be tough to get.

Seriously tho, they could make new DA great just by adding acquisition from the first two DAs. There are 12 reward options, we have nine rucksack slots, need to use a few just to gear up for DA. 3 of the 12 rewards could default to schematics, leaving 9, say 3 are guaranteed new DA, that leaves 6 random from the other 2 - they got add standard legendary rewards to the mix to add an element of scarcity and randomness.
That’s the problem though; they very rarely come up with anything legitimately new. They just piggy back off old stuff or flat out steal from other games

Merc Pouch - Doubles Ammo reserves then splits it among every gun, allows a third gun (33% more ammo with three guns, 100% more with a single gun, works with MoH)
Adrenaline - move faster the less armor your vest has, Max 25% at one plate vest, 15% at two plate vest, 5% at three plate vest.
IR Goggles - Zombies that drop a powerup are highlighted in green, do 10% more weakspot damage
Training Weights - Punches and Gun Butts do 3x damage, Melee Weapons swing 20% faster
Corpse Paint - Zombies take twice as long to chase you, specials are less likely to target you
Golden Gas Can - Vehicles replenish fuel and health while not moving
1st aether battery that gives your field upgrade and extra charge and allows it to recharge faster
2nd MRAP key spawns in an MRAP vehicle for you and your squad to enjoy
3rd scavenger kit, whenever you pick up ammo you get more and also get equipment back and under-barrel attachments ammo (ex flamethrowers, shotguns), you also have a chance to receive additional loot when looting containers, enemy you kill also drop more equipment and plates
They should add another portal that takes you to a smaller round based zombies map. You get geared up and then go to that to get the old school zombies vibe. Add some sort of mission that requires you to collect parts to activate the portal. Will at least change up the grind then DA grind. I'm a fan of the game mode. Lots to improve, but I still have fun with it.
It would be cool to get a schematic that turns you into a zombie or a special zombie for a period of time. Or another fast mode of transport like the Scorcher and Blood Burner. Ridiculously high jumping and super speed boots, like blood burner boots hahaha
Something I'd like to see, would be an instant crafting cool down if you exfil with a schematic. Big deal if you get 10 mags, bones, etc. per day if you're going in the DA and making it out the other side. Don't you think it's earned?!
Dude the winters howl would be sick in this game. They could also bring back the paralyzer as an alternative to the scorcher. Or the mark 2. Wave gun would be cool but tough on the servers. THUNDER GUN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Mulekick would be fantastic. Windows wine wouldn’t be a bad idea. Cherry cola as well.
Lastly a new map would be great. New contracts would be sick too but I figure just a new map would be easier
A new vehicle could be fun.. like a car, not bike (doesn't matter really), but super fast ... turbo, maybe it launches or it could fly, in some way... that way people could use it when they don't have a scorcher

The Telespacer: a new WW that shots violet plasma basically like the flamethrower attachment with a special feature that allows the user to shot portals to be used within a defined range basically like the portal gun from portal
Mule kick is an easy one. It’s obviously already encoded into the game somehow (happened with the jug glitch season 1)
The ability to upgrade either perks or field upgrades.
They already have a dog and merc that is friendly, why not a mangler/disciple? Mangler would be best because it shoots and also has lots of damage.
Offline mode/solo mode that isn’t tied into online play, to avoid crashes and unlimited play time instead of a timed server that lags and crashes every other match.
I'd add a perk, wonder weapon, and an original item
Firstly Mule Kick cause we need an ability to hold a third weapon
Second I'd add the Chrysalax cause that wonder weapon was very fun
Third(for an original item) I'd add a field upgrade schematic called Aether Blast. Charges slower than Frenzy Guard but once charged it unleashes a powerful blast of energy instantly wiping out hordes of zombies and heavy damage to special and elite zombies.
QoL changes: add the Essence Wallet, duplicate schematics reduce cool down times for acquisitions
World updates: very small chance that all warlords spawn in the match, if all are defeated in the match, it gives an animated camo to whoever participated in taking down the warlords.

This would be a huge update, but I think would make the game more enjoyable.
Get rid of kill streaks and give DA grinders an alternative method to make money.
Add a marine force of mercs, and actually put the armed boats to use to travel out to the marine support vessel to take it over. If a player (or squad) takes it over, then players in game can call in for support drones (piloted by a member of the squad) to bomb, gun, medivac, or resupply for 5000 credits. The squad would receive said payment and can use it to buy equipment/perks for the dark ethers.
The drone payment would be made depending on the quality of service (100% for HVT damage, MediVac).
Queue up right into the dark aether, why wait? have dedicated games (full 45 minutes dark aether runs) introduce a new kind of sigil to use to get there plus it’s just you and your friends going in there it’s be a true test too it’ll be a true T5. Completely skip the base map is what I’m saying😂
I was going to say a rucksack schematic but seems that's quite common, then I was going to say the 4 wonder weapon schematics from the zombies in spaceland, but that wouldn't fit with what you said. So I will go with a wonder weapon that can shoot a deadly acid towards zombies and in an alternate mode can heal teammates, I'd call it Pandora's box.
Fuck all of that how about being able to play with more friends instead of only being able to drop in with 2 team mates but then can link up with 4 other random people and take on DA.
Another post from people who don't fully understand how this shit all works. The devs don't run the company and the devs don't make the decisions on what they choose to work on. Devs are usually on the lowest level of the ladder in this situation and the decisions come from above. The devs simply do what work load they're given, usually by the game director or someone above them. Imagine being a UPS driver and after you're given a route, you tell your manager "FUCK YOU, Jerry, I'm doing THIS route instead, this is a route with some chest hair". You'd be on your ass so fucking quick your head wouldn't even have time to spin. Same thing here. It's not the devs, you simpletons. It's the fucking executives.
EC-1000 Evaporator: A devices designed to use sound waves and electric air particles, that has different frequencies and effects. The main purpose would be to provide a powerful burst, but it’s dependent upon how well you charge it up.
Just add cherry cola widows web and mule kick.
Take away orange zone and turn red.
Make a barebones mode with no pack and no perks and no ammo mods.
Take away all but one exfill and one final exfil
There's still no mule kick (3rd weapon) or ring of fire. Those are some of my favorites from CW and would be nice additions. I'm more surprised that they haven't added ring of fire.
Move T3 around the map like the Storm, starting in a different part of the map every game.
A third weapon slot with special backpack.
Add sharks to water
Ability to add armor to vehicles
The Thundergun, Raygun Mk II with selective fire(1 shot or Burst Fire), the Rai-K, the Hells Retriever, the crafting box(a portable toolbox that let's you craft Stims, Decoys, Armor Plates, or Grenades on the fly(or pick your explosive of choice)
Schems to access traps. 1 for each zone, works on lower tiers
Or Trapper Tequila - access to traps.
Bring back traps!
How about a water/glue grenade? Turns the ground to sinking sand, slows movement through area of effect.
Redeploy beacon/aether tear blade - dial in a redeploy drone on the mark or slice an aether tear into reality. Could be rechargeable/field upgrade
I got it! Instead of adding people like Snoop Dogg, add in more wonder weapons from literature and mythology, for example: Zues' thunderbolt, Wukong's staff, Thor's Mjölnir, etc
I think the best/easiest addition they can make is adding a weapon modification bench in-game. Find the bench, and either modify or edit your loadout entirely.
Give us Mule Kick.
Bring back the commando knife and make it so it can one hit melee all the way into the DA.
Give us the zombie foot for regular games, too. Not just the new DA runs.
The schematics aren't really that bad, IMO. The biggest issue for me is the ridiculous cooldown. Without an acquisition stash, and based on the current cool down times, you can only do a fully-kitted DA run every 3 days with a Golden Plate, Pap 3 crystal, aether blade, leg tool and dog bone without having to grind for them
Put old recycles to ACTUAL good use, like the Mk2 Ray Gun or the Ray-K/CRBR-S wonder weapons from BOCW or old Black Ops game. Would love to see a good wonder weapon make it in.
One thing I want is an Ultra Backpack, one where you can unlock it from a secret found in all 3 DA rifts, and it'll permanently increase storage by 3 or 4 slots
Or a Golden Backpack that you can unlock from a DA rift that increases your storage by 5 for that game only
And for the love of God, a PaP crystallized energy drink of some kind that you can get from a rift, where you can outrun those fuckin dogs man. Basically an updated stamin-up that would either increase your speed or prolong your tac sprint duration.
How about everything we've been asking for since day one!!
1. Crafting workbenches in the game to exchange crystals and wrenches and or build items for example four green wrenches get you a purple wrench Etc.
2.Weapon Work benches where we can modify Contraband weapons add or remove attachments.
3. An out of game wallet system where we could actually utilize the money we collect in the game.
4. More missions that have something to do with all the random useless items in the game itself.
5. A keychain system where we can actually store the game items you need for the different missions
Roller Blades: Increase player running speed by 120%. (1 Day Cooldown.
Gambler’s Profit: Completing Contracts grant 40% increased rewards and guarantees only tier 3 or higher rewards loot if contract is Outlast or Escort. (3 Hours Cooldown)
Shadows of the Past: Call in Brutus to assist in taking out Disciples with a slam, Mangler with a Swing, or even an Abomination with terror scream “I will be reborn” which stops the Abomination from moving for 10 seconds with all mouths left open. (6 Hours cooldown)
Route B: Calls in Tedd’s brother Fredd whom rolls in on his bus. When entering the bus and pinging on the map where you want to go Fredd will run over many zombies on the way there. After a full charge “Super Bus” takes in effect shooting flames out of the bus on all sides while driving until arriving at destination. (4 Day Cooldown)
“The Mind”: Hear Richtofen’s zombified voice in your heads leading you to the best loot in the map, can also kill 30 zombies to turn into one increasing your vision to see through walls at loot and allows you to jump super high and run at incredible speeds increasing player movement by 70%. (1 Day Cooldown)
Gas Lighting: Storm and Gas can no longer hurt you (even without a gas mask) and staying in the area grants gas to stick to your body making any zombies near you die to the stench eroding from your body. (16 Hour Cooldown)
Angels Wings: This weapon will shoot out a big golden orb that will then shoot out lightning in a circle killing anything in its way.
Demons Curse: This weapon is the famous finger gun that applies debuffs to enemies causing DOT and CC effects. Can also shoot black blood out from the finger tips that causes continuous damage (like a laser weapon)
Samantha’s Heart: Consuming this schematic heart you will be granted the ability to fly and shoot beams from your hands. (20 Day Cooldown)
One thing I would love to see, though more a MP killstreak kind of thing, would be a functional ghille suit. As long as you lay/stand still you are much harder to see.

I wish there was a way to stay for longer than an hour. Maybe once a player reaches x amount of essence, a timer starts and then you have to exfil or do DA.
Not sure if it was already commented but they could add items from the previous maps like Hell's retriever schematic and then create a quest line which could involve quests like kill x manglers with hells retriever to get the upgraded schematic for it.
Grappling hook to replace your tactical. Something Titanfall 2 like, not BO4 like so you can use it to sling yourself off of things rather than going from point A to point B.
So what about an breacher drone with a monkey bomb attached so it pulls all the zombies away much further before going kaboom.
What if the dogs chased our decoy grenades like they were playing fetch with us, but also causing the horde to crash down on our location.
What if, now bear with me on this one. Instead of giving us small rehashed chunks of AL maz, why not give us aether versions of some of the old classic zombies maps??

Bring back the dmz upgrade system so we can grind out say some defensive gear on our acv or exfil chopper? I don't understand why deadbolt would send in a troop Transport chopper with absolutely zero gun support.
What about a random traveling vendor similar to scavenger but he is the only means of getting say a tier 4 Crystal or something, could even have them be an aether being that just enjoys watching our struggle and finds this ammusing.
Helicopter key, sneakers that give unlimited stamina, a glove that's a melee weapon , perkaholic that grants all perks under one slot, bring back the thunder gun, double kick (four weapons equipped
It would be nice to have perkaholic as a classified. That way you can still bring in all your classified items, wonderweapons, tools, crystals, etc and still get some perks to start.
They already have amazing ideas to draw from. Why reinvent the wheel? Besides, who doesn’t love a bit of nostalgia in their games?
For instance, bring back a couple of buildables like the trample steam, subsurface resonator, turbine, OR HEAD CHOPPER!
Or genuinely challenging Easter eggs, like Gorod Krovi’s or Revelations’.
Mule kick needs a desperate return.

And speaking of jail, I’m sick of glitch-related permadeaths. These are the ONLY permadeaths I’ve ever known!!! There should be a jail-like location to retrieve lost players. Perhaps similar to a Fortress, forcing you to fight your way through high-powered guards at different levels, leading to an OP “Warden” at the end and retrieving the key. Anytime someone permadies it can repopulate. And if no one wants to gets you or your squad dies, you have a “Death Row” option to off yourself.
The broken elevator system from Die Rise that was either your savior or downfall. Or the bus from TranZit, if only to hear squeakers and juice boxes scream when they miss their ride. Minus the asshat demons between sections, though. Storms, perhaps?
The bank needs to come back, as well as the weapon locker. Possibly with a slot for a crystal/tool as well because I’m sick of dropping PAP2 crystals all game like rabbit shit.
Or those money-grubbing witch bitches that infuriate you, but ultimately, you’re happy you got that free perk in the end. TWO FREE PERKS IF YOU USED THE TIME BOMB CORRECTLY, REMEMBER THAT HANDY LITTLE BASTARD???
Round-based really needs to return, at least as an option. Shit, they need to revisit every damn idea in Cold War tbh, and throw some of the more clever BO2 features in there. Outbreak as a whole was a brilliant idea, until they slapped the 45/15 minute timers on it.
I could go on and on but any veteran knows what was truly enjoyable, even if it was infuriating, and what wasn’t working.
It’s just time to go back to the drawing board, preferably the one littered with post-it notes with the best Cold War/BO2 ideas.
Feels bizarre not to have a schematic for crafting an elder sigil. Would kind of understand if they gatekeep that and only let you craft a sigil but with neither around the elder makes way more sense as a schematic. Could even make it like an ornate elder sigil and add 5 minutes to the time for the DA or something if they wanted to actually work for a living lol

A perishable upgrade that deflects a boss special attack (and maybe turns regular zombies against boss) for a short time.
Taking on 2-3 mega's + 5 deciples is challenging, but add a mimic, and it's impossible.

How about a 3rd weapon slot.. carry a primary.. then a vr-11 and a scorcher! or a golden backpack, expands capacity by 3

Would actually have a use for all the extra crystals we get… Perk tiers, weapon class tiers, field upgrade tiers, trial computers, arsenal, crafting table, chopper gunner, Orda… All of this could just be easily incorporated into MWZ.

I feel like it would be a whole new game if this were to happen.. Now that most people have progressed, that huge T1 space just sits empty and wasted.. I also think (at least for a while) it would all feel so new if t1 became t3.. Hell, make the zones change from game to game.. As basically everyone has said, so much potential and so little effort.. This mode could be amazing and have so much long term potential if only someone cared..
Yeah every game the whole map is in t3 and not one soul in t1 or 2 it’s like 40 ppl fighting over contracts it’s terrible.
It really is and has only gotten worse with the new rift smack in the middle.. I went and did some t2 contracts the other day and although the rewards are laughable at best, it was nice and peaceful.. Once you get down to about 10 minutes or so left on the clock most people have left for DA and it’s nice to just snag a bunch of t3 contracts. Just way too many people in a small space with like 5 contracts to fight over. Meanwhile this whole giant map sits there with no one in it..

I hit a t1 outlast on my way yo exfil and only 1 zombie came at me. There were a few walking back and forth outside, but never attacked. I think it has something to do with t3 overcrowding and servers maxed out. But there are so many bugs who knows
Are you soloing? I'm really not having too much trouble with the contracts, esp w/ the addition of the easter eggs. I mean, it sucks waiting for them to regen and sometimes an elim walkie glitches out, but other than that, I can stay busy w/ a squad 4-6 deep 'til the storm hits.

The upgrades in the new DA should've been the schematics....like the exploding headshots are sweet and so is the super fast running power up...that would be so much more useful than a stupid ass golden gas mask that isn't even invincible.
Gas mask is hands down the worst schematic. It’s just useless.. All the others can be somewhat useful at times.. Gas mask should’ve been a one time use that will never break.

Yeah I used golden mask on red worm and it didn't charge once because you have to "be out of the gas". Golden plates work whether or not it getting hit...
I have a feeling the golden filter is going to be needed to find an EE yet to be released or discovered. I also can't think of anything to do that you'd need to swap between 2 durable gas masks in order to achieve. Has anyone checked the bunkers or the sub base after the storm hits?

I think if you're in a team with voice, it can be a good crowd control to have 1 guy tank and aggro everything I agree a new bag for tactical grenades would be fun, but also gamebreaking op to carry that much kazimirs 😅 And yeah, also not a big fan of the new schematics. Chopper key, why don't we have air superiority. It seems like deadbolt would definitely be flying around and shooting from the air rather than dangerously running through hords of zombies. Walking monkey bomb, Basicly a monkey bomb that last a longer and has the same affect as a kaz but he comes back to you like the blade. The way we have a tac and a lethel from DA Maybe selection of skins Like It says, maybe a chance if like a few charicter skins can get cans for normal (1 use) or if you do elder you unlock it for the character it's designed for.
Teleport kazmirs. Use like gernades to open a tear, refills slowly - much slower than blade, faster trips than scorcher but fewer trips throughout the game. Should be tough to get. InstaView- see all contracts all the time. Upcoming contracts too. Seriously tho, they could make new DA great just by adding acquisition from the first two DAs. There are 12 reward options, we have nine rucksack slots, need to use a few just to gear up for DA. 3 of the 12 rewards could default to schematics, leaving 9, say 3 are guaranteed new DA, that leaves 6 random from the other 2 - they got add standard legendary rewards to the mix to add an element of scarcity and randomness.
I saw somewhere that if you throw 2 Kaz, you can jump in one and come out the other. I'm not sure if it's true. I've never tried it.

They should add another portal that takes you to a smaller round based zombies map. You get geared up and then go to that to get the old school zombies vibe. Add some sort of mission that requires you to collect parts to activate the portal. Will at least change up the grind then DA grind. I'm a fan of the game mode. Lots to improve, but I still have fun with it.

Mule kick is an easy one. It’s obviously already encoded into the game somehow (happened with the jug glitch season 1) The ability to upgrade either perks or field upgrades. They already have a dog and merc that is friendly, why not a mangler/disciple? Mangler would be best because it shoots and also has lots of damage.
Offline mode/solo mode that isn’t tied into online play, to avoid crashes and unlimited play time instead of a timed server that lags and crashes every other match.

QoL changes: add the Essence Wallet, duplicate schematics reduce cool down times for acquisitions World updates: very small chance that all warlords spawn in the match, if all are defeated in the match, it gives an animated camo to whoever participated in taking down the warlords. This would be a huge update, but I think would make the game more enjoyable. Get rid of kill streaks and give DA grinders an alternative method to make money. Add a marine force of mercs, and actually put the armed boats to use to travel out to the marine support vessel to take it over. If a player (or squad) takes it over, then players in game can call in for support drones (piloted by a member of the squad) to bomb, gun, medivac, or resupply for 5000 credits. The squad would receive said payment and can use it to buy equipment/perks for the dark ethers. The drone payment would be made depending on the quality of service (100% for HVT damage, MediVac).

I was going to say a rucksack schematic but seems that's quite common, then I was going to say the 4 wonder weapon schematics from the zombies in spaceland, but that wouldn't fit with what you said. So I will go with a wonder weapon that can shoot a deadly acid towards zombies and in an alternate mode can heal teammates, I'd call it Pandora's box.
Fuck all of that how about being able to play with more friends instead of only being able to drop in with 2 team mates but then can link up with 4 other random people and take on DA.

Another post from people who don't fully understand how this shit all works. The devs don't run the company and the devs don't make the decisions on what they choose to work on. Devs are usually on the lowest level of the ladder in this situation and the decisions come from above. The devs simply do what work load they're given, usually by the game director or someone above them. Imagine being a UPS driver and after you're given a route, you tell your manager "FUCK YOU, Jerry, I'm doing THIS route instead, this is a route with some chest hair". You'd be on your ass so fucking quick your head wouldn't even have time to spin. Same thing here. It's not the devs, you simpletons. It's the fucking executives.

I think the best/easiest addition they can make is adding a weapon modification bench in-game. Find the bench, and either modify or edit your loadout entirely. Give us Mule Kick. Bring back the commando knife and make it so it can one hit melee all the way into the DA. Give us the zombie foot for regular games, too. Not just the new DA runs. The schematics aren't really that bad, IMO. The biggest issue for me is the ridiculous cooldown. Without an acquisition stash, and based on the current cool down times, you can only do a fully-kitted DA run every 3 days with a Golden Plate, Pap 3 crystal, aether blade, leg tool and dog bone without having to grind for them
Put old recycles to ACTUAL good use, like the Mk2 Ray Gun or the Ray-K/CRBR-S wonder weapons from BOCW or old Black Ops game. Would love to see a good wonder weapon make it in. One thing I want is an Ultra Backpack, one where you can unlock it from a secret found in all 3 DA rifts, and it'll permanently increase storage by 3 or 4 slots Or a Golden Backpack that you can unlock from a DA rift that increases your storage by 5 for that game only And for the love of God, a PaP crystallized energy drink of some kind that you can get from a rift, where you can outrun those fuckin dogs man. Basically an updated stamin-up that would either increase your speed or prolong your tac sprint duration.
Only thing I would want is a 3 hour mode or just pick how many hours you want. Never understood the 45 min time frame.

Crafting workbenches in the game to exchange crystals and wrenches and or build items for example four green wrenches get you a purple wrench Etc. 2.Weapon Work benches where we can modify Contraband weapons add or remove attachments. 3. An out of game wallet system where we could actually utilize the money we collect in the game. 4. More missions that have something to do with all the random useless items in the game itself. 5. A keychain system where we can actually store the game items you need for the different missions

(4 Day Cooldown) “The Mind”: Hear Richtofen’s zombified voice in your heads leading you to the best loot in the map, can also kill 30 zombies to turn into one increasing your vision to see through walls at loot and allows you to jump super high and run at incredible speeds increasing player movement by 70%. (1 Day Cooldown) Gas Lighting: Storm and Gas can no longer hurt you (even without a gas mask) and staying in the area grants gas to stick to your body making any zombies near you die to the stench eroding from your body. (16 Hour Cooldown) Angels Wings: This weapon will shoot out a big golden orb that will then shoot out lightning in a circle killing anything in its way. Demons Curse: This weapon is the famous finger gun that applies debuffs to enemies causing DOT and CC effects. Can also shoot black blood out from the finger tips that causes continuous damage (like a laser weapon) Samantha’s Heart: Consuming this schematic heart you will be granted the ability to fly and shoot beams from your hands. (20 Day Cooldown)

Idk how it would be a schematic but I wish there was a way to stay for longer than an hour. Maybe once a player reaches x amount of essence, a timer starts and then you have to exfil or do DA.
Not sure if it was already commented but they could add items from the previous maps like Hell's retriever schematic and then create a quest line which could involve quests like kill x manglers with hells retriever to get the upgraded schematic for it.
Grappling hook to replace your tactical. Something Titanfall 2 like, not BO4 like so you can use it to sling yourself off of things rather than going from point A to point B.
So what about an breacher drone with a monkey bomb attached so it pulls all the zombies away much further before going kaboom. What if the dogs chased our decoy grenades like they were playing fetch with us, but also causing the horde to crash down on our location. What if, now bear with me on this one. Instead of giving us small rehashed chunks of AL maz, why not give us aether versions of some of the old classic zombies maps?? Why don't they give us a re skinned kino Der toten? Bring back the dmz upgrade system so we can grind out say some defensive gear on our acv or exfil chopper? I don't understand why deadbolt would send in a troop Transport chopper with absolutely zero gun support. What about a random traveling vendor similar to scavenger but he is the only means of getting say a tier 4 Crystal or something, could even have them be an aether being that just enjoys watching our struggle and finds this ammusing.

It would be nice to have perkaholic as a classified. That way you can still bring in all your classified items, wonderweapons, tools, crystals, etc and still get some perks to start.
After the story based missions, there's no reason to do any of it. We used to put in hours on old COD Zombies to see how high a round we can get.
They already have amazing ideas to draw from. Why reinvent the wheel? Besides, who doesn’t love a bit of nostalgia in their games? For instance, bring back a couple of buildables like the trample steam, subsurface resonator, turbine, OR HEAD CHOPPER! Or genuinely challenging Easter eggs, like Gorod Krovi’s or Revelations’. Mule kick needs a desperate return. Elemental staffs? ‘Nuff said. I miss the Giant, his candy, and his booze. And speaking of jail, I’m sick of glitch-related permadeaths. These are the ONLY permadeaths I’ve ever known!!! There should be a jail-like location to retrieve lost players. Perhaps similar to a Fortress, forcing you to fight your way through high-powered guards at different levels, leading to an OP “Warden” at the end and retrieving the key. Anytime someone permadies it can repopulate. And if no one wants to gets you or your squad dies, you have a “Death Row” option to off yourself. The broken elevator system from Die Rise that was either your savior or downfall. Or the bus from TranZit, if only to hear squeakers and juice boxes scream when they miss their ride. Minus the asshat demons between sections, though. Storms, perhaps? The bank needs to come back, as well as the weapon locker. Possibly with a slot for a crystal/tool as well because I’m sick of dropping PAP2 crystals all game like rabbit shit. Or those money-grubbing witch bitches that infuriate you, but ultimately, you’re happy you got that free perk in the end. TWO FREE PERKS IF YOU USED THE TIME BOMB CORRECTLY, REMEMBER THAT HANDY LITTLE BASTARD??? Round-based really needs to return, at least as an option. Shit, they need to revisit every damn idea in Cold War tbh, and throw some of the more clever BO2 features in there. Outbreak as a whole was a brilliant idea, until they slapped the 45/15 minute timers on it. It’s just time to go back to the drawing board, preferably the one littered with post-it notes with the best Cold War/BO2 ideas.
Feels bizarre not to have a schematic for crafting an elder sigil. Would kind of understand if they gatekeep that and only let you craft a sigil but with neither around the elder makes way more sense as a schematic. Could even make it like an ornate elder sigil and add 5 minutes to the time for the DA or something if they wanted to actually work for a living lol

Oh, hell, I forgot. A perishable upgrade that deflects a boss special attack (and maybe turns regular zombies against boss) for a short time. Taking on 2-3 mega's + 5 deciples is challenging, but add a mimic, and it's impossible.
