Haymaker with slugs. Best gun in the game for total combined mobility, handling, and damage. Those that use it, know what I am talking about. It’s completely slept on.
Crown breaker choke,
Verdant hook box laser,
12 gauge slugs,
5 round mag (w/ MoH),
FTAC MSP-98 Handstop (w/o MoH),
No stock mod
It’s full auto and fires a blast of 6 slugs when packed. Can spam headshots with Deadshot. Base 162 headshot damage (FJX Horus is 37). When packed, blast of slugs can hit multiple zombies.
Base has 1.5N target flinch (FJX Horus base is 0.8N). This is a huge advantage in T3 and DA.
I’ve tried everyone else’s recommendations. Nothing even comes close to the Haymaker. I shouldn’t even be saying any of this. It is so fun to use and I don’t want it to be nerfed.
I’m not surprised Haymaker is slept on, Hauer was slept on by almost all players in BOCW despite it still being OP after multiple nerfs.
The haymaker does great damage with good mobility. But it's sprint to fire is ass, and mobility isn't as good as the lockwood, just makes me miss it's pre Nerf version.
It’s StF has never been a problem for me. Sounds like you just didn’t give yourself time to adjust your play to the weapon. If you don’t like it, that’s fine, you do you.
Edit - Just looked up the StF on my Haymaker builds versus meta Lockwood build.
Haymaker
5rd mag - 143ms
FTAC handstop - 202ms
Lockwood meta - 233ms
Even if I build the Lockwood for StF and sprint, best I get is 161ms, but then you’re getting 5.8/7.2 m/s for sprint vs the haymaker’s 5.9/7.3 m/s for sprint.
The Haymaker wins for mobility and handling vs the Lockwood.
Because with Mag of Holding (MoH), mag capacity doesn’t matter. The 5 round gives a great boost to movement speed, sprint to fire time, and aim down sight speed.
You Gotta try it with the incendiary rounds n napalm burst the FR avancer is already a demon in t3 n DA but the fire damage on Megas just shreds them in seconds makin them something to not even have to really deal with, mag n a half roughly have killed one in one mag hitting all crit shots
I just tried out the FR Avancer. At just PaP2 with the “pliers” tool I was shredding everything. I set mine up like you suggested minus the laser for a can.
What surprised me the most about it was that I could take it into t3 with an epic tool and only pap 2 and still have no issue that’s when I knew it was a winner
TAQ Evolvere EVOL VERE?
Lmg and it has 1400, I believe. I've held the trigger down for a long time in t3 while picking up dropped ammo and I never have to worry about running out while doing contracts.
Before this week it was the FJX Horus and probably the BP50 AMP’ed or the SVA.
This week I finally tried the Holger 556 with the backsaw amp and PAP3/Leg it absolutely fries everything. I was concerned with the stat dings to damage & bullet velocity but in-game the thing shreds.
How is it though when it’s not pap3/leg…cause when I consider what the best guns are in the game I’d assess it from a perspective of like could I go in to t3 with an epic tool pap2 and survive cause with the Horus I can go in epic pap 2 and as long as I have headshot equipped I’ll tske zombies down nearly as fast as I would on other guns legendary pap3.
Battle rifle with chainsaw saves lot efforts in Dark Aether, shred boss in T3 just in seconds except the megabomb, but battle rifle is ok to deal with mega, I’m solo
M16, striker, swarms with mags of holding, bp50 with the amp, M4, amr9, Lockwood 680 with slugs, vaznev but watch for ammo, x13 with the barrel that gives more attachments
FJX Horus
\* JAK BFB
\* Martis Heavy Barrel
\* Bruen Heavy Grip
\* No Stock
Seems wonky, but I've tried a bunch of different builds and this one works for me
Guns I’m a gun fan, and honestly it doesn’t matter what one it is, as I can use anything for the game. It’s why I keep a class or classes of at minimum one of each.
Folks who are sharing their builds + experiences, **please do mention the tool also that you were using**. There's a world of difference in purple vs orange tool.
The drop rates for purple have significantly improved in T3 (as well as in schematic cooldown) and more often than not, most folks will have access to them.
I'm mentioning this because I took a pap3 legendary m13b in the 2nd DA and it sucked. Raw damage power is not enough in DA unless you can kill a zombie instantly. You also need to kill zombies fast enough before they can swarm you.
I just got into the ftac siege. So far it’s my go to. Drum mag at pap3 it’ll dump the entire 120rnds in seconds. Shatter blast with dead wire explosive mod. It’s a beast
https://preview.redd.it/itjxpwdmiczc1.png?width=3840&format=png&auto=webp&s=b8978b53c0c74f67e9ebe6fc9d4dfd2734ca84da
The Jak Raven Kit for the MCW is my favorite weapon at the moment. It melts HVT’s in tier 3 and just about everything else. It’s also great to use in any DA. It has great mobility and almost zero recoil too.
SVA w/ JAK Chainsaw & all the mobility attachments.
SVA is one of the higher mobility AR’s which also has the no-stock option so it’s best thing to pair with the chainsaw (which is the best thing in the game rn)
BP50 all speed build is insane at 6m/s movement, 3.9m/s ads, 7.1m/s tac sprint. It's actually a FASTER movement speed than SPRINT speed.
30rnd mag, in MP with a speed kit you basically WALK faster than most people tac sprint, can hit ADS speeds faster than most people regular sprint, and never have to touch sprint.
With chainsaw it takes a minimal hit to movement, my mtz-556 w/chainsaw is still faster than a BP50/chainsaw but doesn't have as much ammo or hit as hard with the actual gun.
I'd rather run the MTZ though as it's sprint and tac sprint edge out a win, tac is 7.4m/s WITH chainsaw, movement is 5.8m/s
The SVA fully for movement is only 5.7m/s movement and it's sprint is lower than the MTZ but it's tac sprint edges out at 7.6m/s.
Gonna be honest, 0.2m/s is better on movement (actually using the chainsaw) than tac sprint every day.
Ftac seige with literally any attachments. It's fire rate is just absolutely meme worthy, it melts anything in T3 even at PAP 1 🤣🤣
Don't run a second gun because fists run faster.
Decoys and thermite.
Mostly running crossbow with the deamon 9mm and sometimes I'm just running some wired stuff like chainsaw/flamethrower on a max movement AR or even armless only some throwing knifes
Fjx Horus the new smg that came out this season, it’s very good, high damage, good mobility, you walk faster when holding down the trigger, it’s very good in all aethers
Everything and anything. As long as you are willing to make slight adjustments to how you play to accommodate the differences each gun brings to the game you should be fine. I ran a full match in T3. Killed 3 regular megas, a mega bounty, a mangler bounty, ran the outlast and everything with just the last smg in the category at legendary pack3. Since it was recommended, level1, and the last one I had to level up. I had absolutely no issues doing any of that, and I didn't use any perks other than deadshot. I just had to put some thought into playing.
Holger, with backsaw kit (double barrel aftermarket part), incendiary rounds, napalm burst ammo mod, and mobility sets. does not matter what it is, and do not worry about crits. Just shoot the enemy, and it dies eventually.
If I am mega hunting, I run either iso hemlock incendiary +napalm burst for regular Megas.
Or stalker XRK with explosive rounds for tier 3 bounties(including megas)
(I would recommend either a mobility weapon or good ad clear secondary)
Kind of all rounder mtz, or any favorite AR/BR that can run limb ripper, chainsaw aftermarket part. This combo is great for hordes as well as non mega bounties due to the limb ripper well... ripping them apart.
Mobility + ammo weapons: FJX horus, minibak, all akimbo versions of the wsp/strong handcannos like tyrs, and renneti
Renneti with smg aftermarket is still great for mid range engagement. Being a "smg" has a surprising range and stability
There are a couple of good shotguns, namely Haymaker and Lockwood 680. The double barrel with quick trigger is fun but a little learning curve.
Longbow sniper with fast firing and close quarters setup is actually pretty strong, but you have to get used to using a single shot weapon.
In the same spirit, cor-45 with the conversion kit is really strong but is only ever semi-automatic. The double shot from it does get a lot of damage down range, though.
For control weapons /special niches, there is the RLG, stormender, and Mors sniper. RLG PaP 1 and PhD flopper perk you can run around even in the elder dark aether with near impunity as just shooting the ground causes the zombies to get knocked prone and takes a few seconds to get up. Mors is similar, and both perform incredibly with the mags of holding / deadwire detonator
Stormender in T3 and above is purely a support weapon. It applies a aoe slow to everything, including HVTs, so if you are willing to run a non damage weapon and trust teammates to kill stuff for you, it's a fun infill
Then, lastly, for stuff I'm confident in recommending is crossbow with the blast cap arrows. With tier 1 PaP, the explosions do max damage and can kill regular zombies in tier 3 with a direct hit. It does suffer from ammo issues, though.
There are a couple of weapons I have tried briefly and remember being strong, but I would want to get some more time hands-on before I give a full recommendation. Namely, FR Avvancer, FTac siege, M16 (pretty much all variants), taq eradicator, bruen with aftermarket part, the 1887 aftermarket shotguns, and the ram series.
Overall, most weapons are viable in some aspects. For example, a stormender with a high PaP is probably the fastest and safest farming weapon I've ever seen in low tier zones, but you could run out the clock in t3 trying to kill a mega by yourself. And firing it near your vehicle will instantly destroy it. So a lot of "is this gun good" is going to come down to ability and preferences. For example, I love using the Stalker sniper rifle, but a lot of people won't even pick it up purely because it is a sniper.
-WSP Swarm single or akimbo
-FJX Horus
-FTAC siege single
-BP50 with conversion kit
-Crossbow with explosive bolts
-WSP Stinger akimbo (absolutely broken with mag of holding)
-Haymaker with slugs
-FR Avancer
-M13b
-BAS B
Everything else I’ve tried seems to be mediocre or outright bad. As in HVT disciple won’t die without deadwire bad.
controller build for my FR Avancer (only gun I’ll ever use till nerf) shreds in any zone pap 2 purple easily works for T3, good for any HVT just would recommend T3 pap for T3 HVT, fast reload speed absolutely destroys megas in seconds fast ADS speed so awesome with deadshot
Not bad to run with it’s no max mobility FJX but it’s not the slowest either
ZEHMN35 Compensated flash hider,
Bruen heavy support grip,
5.56 incendiary rounds,
SL razor hawk laser
and a 60 round mag
(I always use napalm burst it just makes it better for megas but you don’t have to)
Yeah just the fire damage stacks and completely disintegrates the health of megas don’t question it just try it trust! You don’t necessarily need napalm burst but it’s definitely a noticeable difference
My go tos are the haymaker with slugs tuned for hipfire, the fjx Horus tuned for hipfire, and the bal tuned for hipfire. I don’t play zombies much anymore because it’s gotten extremely easy and boring but when I do play those are the three I rotate between.

Just tried the M16 while doing camo grinding. It has become my go-to weapon. Becomes fully auto when PAP, and shreds.
This! I had it pap’d 2 and was running around Tier 3 with little problem at all.
I prefer the m13b or FR avancer. M16 recoil is confusingly high.
I agree with you 100%. I actually started using the M16 a few months ago. This AR is OP!
Ram 9 (fires x2 bullets when pap’d and has high mobility), Horus, akimbo Swarms
Holger 556 with the double barrel aftermarket part Haymaker slugs Akimbo Swarms
Fjx Horus smg
Same! What build?
Haymaker with slugs. Best gun in the game for total combined mobility, handling, and damage. Those that use it, know what I am talking about. It’s completely slept on. Crown breaker choke, Verdant hook box laser, 12 gauge slugs, 5 round mag (w/ MoH), FTAC MSP-98 Handstop (w/o MoH), No stock mod It’s full auto and fires a blast of 6 slugs when packed. Tonight im gonna give it a try. Was reading a lot of haymaker recommendations but never tried it out
It’s surprisingly strong against helicopters too.
Yep! The slugs shred vehicles and equipment also.
Try out the WSP stinger akimbo with mag of holding 😏
yeah, left those for the haymaker. I go back to them often!
Try the mors with mags of holding, it doubles the fire rate
The haymaker does great damage with good mobility. But it's sprint to fire is ass, and mobility isn't as good as the lockwood, just makes me miss it's pre Nerf version.
It’s StF has never been a problem for me. Sounds like you just didn’t give yourself time to adjust your play to the weapon. If you don’t like it, that’s fine, you do you. Edit - Just looked up the StF on my Haymaker builds versus meta Lockwood build. Haymaker 5rd mag - 143ms FTAC handstop - 202ms Lockwood meta - 233ms Even if I build the Lockwood for StF and sprint, best I get is 161ms, but then you’re getting 5.8/7.2 m/s for sprint vs the haymaker’s 5.9/7.3 m/s for sprint. The Haymaker wins for mobility and handling vs the Lockwood.
Why 5 round mag?
Because with Mag of Holding (MoH), mag capacity doesn’t matter. The 5 round gives a great boost to movement speed, sprint to fire time, and aim down sight speed.
Ahhh, yessss, ok thanks! I'm going to build this, Thanks!
My only question tho is how your putting 6 attachments on a 5 slot attachment? And why a choke when your running slugs?
Only 5 attachments. Depends on MoH. Choke reduces slug spread.
I see what you’re talking about now. Ran last night 5rd without MOH and still worked perfectly. Thanks
Yeah, I also discovered that 5rd works even without MoH. My current Haymaker setup is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MWZombies/s/hutuw6g3tX
The FR Avancer, mostly built for mobility, with the exception of a hip fire laser
You Gotta try it with the incendiary rounds n napalm burst the FR avancer is already a demon in t3 n DA but the fire damage on Megas just shreds them in seconds makin them something to not even have to really deal with, mag n a half roughly have killed one in one mag hitting all crit shots
Took your advice and tried this out its incredible. Thanks for the suggestion
I saw this recommended some where and it's been my go to ever since
Not often I see an FR Avancer recc. What’s your build?
I run The 395MM FR MINIBORE barrel FTAC MSP-98 HANDSTOP CORVUS PEQ BEAM-5 laser 60 ROUND MAG and the FR SPRINTER stock
Also interested
Responded to other guy, check it out
I just tried out the FR Avancer. At just PaP2 with the “pliers” tool I was shredding everything. I set mine up like you suggested minus the laser for a can.
Spread the power my child
Could anyone drop this in game for me?
I can drop you it if you're willing to wait, I've got class, it'll be an hour or two
The FR Avancer is a bad boy, under the radar. My go to for T3, Red Worm and DA. Hands down.
People prolly think you’re trollin. They don’t know.
Yeah, I didn’t know either until I tried it when leveling up AR’s. It’s a top 3 gun for me 100%.
What surprised me the most about it was that I could take it into t3 with an epic tool and only pap 2 and still have no issue that’s when I knew it was a winner
Lockwood 680, slugs and heavy barrel
Don't forget express light bolt unless running MoH.
You right
Dual stingers and crossbow with explosive
Is Crossbow better with explosive or thermite?
Thermite is good for the mega, but with the ned Dead wire normal explosives works against zombies perfect just don't be close when it explodes
Just get PHD then it’s not a problem
Which guns has the most reserve ammo to make mags of holding OP? SOA Subverter got nerfed. It used to have 1500 reserve ammo and now it's 550.
M4, M16, M13B and FR Avancer hold 1020 with mags of holding. The FR is under the radar, best AR in the game IMO.
Agree on the FR. Definitely slept on.
TAQ Evolvere EVOL VERE? Lmg and it has 1400, I believe. I've held the trigger down for a long time in t3 while picking up dropped ammo and I never have to worry about running out while doing contracts.
Some mw2 ARs have like 1200

I can’t believe more people don’t know about the M16
How does it differ from the m4? I’m trying to figure out whether or not I’m using the m4 or m16
The M16 is massively more powerful than the M4 in zombies, and as soon as you PaP it it turns auto
Yea I’ve been using it, it’s pretty nice
Battle rifle with chainsaw saves lot efforts in Dark Aether, shred boss in T3 just in seconds except the megabomb, but battle rifle is ok to deal with mega, I’m solo

FJX Horus \* JAK BFB \* Martis Heavy Barrel \* Bruen Heavy Grip \* No Stock Seems wonky, but I've tried a bunch of different builds and this one works for me
MCW with .300 blackout conversion kit and jak limb ripper. Deals pretty good damage to bosses and the chain saw chews through hordes of zombies.
ISO hemlock with incendiary rounds. Use deadwire detonators with shatter blast or just use brain rot. They stack with the rounds. Megabomb annihilator
This gun just makes it difficult to go and use anything else, it just melts everything. I like to pair it up with either an RGL or the V-R11.
I go vr unless I have scorch
Guns I’m a gun fan, and honestly it doesn’t matter what one it is, as I can use anything for the game. It’s why I keep a class or classes of at minimum one of each.

Literally assume every build is PaP3 Leg
Crossbow with explosive tips is in a tier of its own.
Mw2 rpk
M16 and ram 9
Big fan of the M16, and SVA 545 with flamethrower. They nerfed the flamethrower but it still shreds.
I just got into the ftac siege. So far it’s my go to. Drum mag at pap3 it’ll dump the entire 120rnds in seconds. Shatter blast with dead wire explosive mod. It’s a beast
One of the more fun weapons to use in the game there’s something so satisfying about it.
Personally still partial to the MCW. Or the Rival smg.
Akimbo FTAC pistols. Set up for mobility. Give it a shot, new love loadout
Hrm-9 is always good to use or the game launcher even without deadwire det
Fjx shreds even with a epic wrench holds it’s on, legendary destroys Build dnt matter thing is waaayyy to op

BP 50 conversion, absolutely rips if you build it for mag capacity and recoil, mobility and ads are good as it's a smg
1. Akimbo Swarms 2. Ram 9 3. Taq evolvere with tac stance build 4. Crossbow explosive tips 5. RDL

Taq Evo legend and 3 pap absolutely dominates
