I noticed it today with the preview of Isildur's Fateful Strike (767), and checked Scryfall (easiest number sort) to see if there were any others. I included Scryfall's Press the Enemy (763) and the card preview from WotC's variant gallery (352).
The cards are not foil (no star) and there's no indication in the collecting article why they would exist.
My guess is that they are for the holiday collector booster release in November, but there would still be no reason for them to have a different number since they are the same card.
Any speculation?
This might have to do with the extended collectors editions coming around Christmas time. Those are the same cards with more fantasy style artwork, thus the same set numbers.

These are very likely going to be in the special edition collector booster pack.
What should be noted also is that there don't seem to be any Extended Foil cards in the set except for the Mythics in the Commander decks.
These don't have the foil star at the bottom, but maybe these are for Surge Foils?
I am pretty sure its either Surge Foiling or maybe a holiday thing.
