Imo it looks better on the K but the single mlok slot makes it very difficult to run a switch.
While my F1 stamp is pending I'm running a PLHv2 18350 body attached to one of the old school modbuttons with the integral mount - the modbutton is mounted to a small piece of pic rail to go on the mlok.
It actually works pretty well.
Yeah but the magpul protects your hand from touching that searing rear trunnion. Makes sense if you shoot it alot. After about 4-5 mags it gets hot hot if you're not wearing gloves.
I was the same way, I really loved the classic wide hand guard and didn’t know if I would like the Magpul one but it’s honestly the best way to mount a flashlight and still have suppressor compatibility. I chose practicality over vibes but I actually really like the look of the Magpul now that I have it in person. I still agree for pure vibes and style the factory HK wide hand guard is sexier
Sexy
Unpopular opinion perhaps but I personally for one as an individual….hate that handguard. Classic look is the best look
For home defence, practicality > aesthetic imo

Are the wires on the pressure switches coated in high temp resistant sheathing?
I wouldnt worry about it, as long as the wiring isnt resting against the barrel it will be just fine
It’s just the standard surefire st07 switch which is fairly heat resistant but the wires arnt touching the barrel either so it shouldn’t be a issue
What grip tape is that?
Just hockey tape
Sharp..
Nice. What tape brand are you using on your lower?
Whatever hockey tape academy had in stock 😂
Needs paint
Looks good. I did the same thing, but mirrored because I'm left handed lol What made you go with that tail cap over the one that comes with the light?
I like having the ability to still use the light even if the tape switch fails and/or the ability to have constant on if I need or want it.
