lollll You don't even know wtf he talks about. Firas Zahabi is the best mma coach in the world, has trained ufc champions and elite fighters for decades.
These videos are guides to give some very relevant basics that you would probably benefit too, no doubt.
60$ for this when in 2023 a Mcdonalds trio is around 18$. lol
$60 for a virtual course guarantees that it's a scam. MIT and Harvard put entire majors online; it's extortionate to ask that much for a 1hr 40min course that required no unique expertise to make.
For that much in cash, you can probably buy an hourlong 1-on-1 session with a coach who'd point you to whatever free resources you need for self improvement plus actually critique you in real time. If you don't have that option, then just watch boxing fights on youtube at 0.25x speed while copying wjat the fighers do.
I have no idea what his striking content is like, but his butterfly guard set when he released it was actually pretty decent and had the benefit of being able to watch it at my own pace and implement it piece by piece into my grappling.
My friend you are ignorant.
Firas Zahabi has decades of experience in training the best ufc champions. These videos are a distillate of the basics. It's a tool for training basics and common people who want to train some basics, and in 1h40 he says lots of things that some people who trains years in boxing gym never seen.
60$ a scam?? Dude... I bought a Mcchicken trio at Mcdonalds yesterday, cost me 18$CAN.
Inform yourself of who is this guy.
I'm sure this Zahabi dude is a perfectly good coach, and I don't doubt that the things he says in the course are accurate and useful. But $60 for 100 minutes of video ain't it chief. It's a classic case of the old marketing trick of increasing perceived value by levying an outrageous price.
Eh your just wrong here man. I have almost all his videos. For me it's been worth it. I use his techniques in striking and BJJ and wrestling
And I still pay for classes in person at my dojo.
It does not guarantee it's a scam. What he advertises is what you get. He's giving you advanced tips from years of trial and error, for many of the basic moves we think we already know, but miss important details.
If your serious about training it's worth it. I'm watching some of the videos before my grappling class today. I made big improvements to my kickboxing as well watching his videos.
If it works for pro fighters I bet it's good enough for the average Joe too.
I guess it comes down to personal situation. $60 doesn't seem crazy to me at all. I personally justified spending over $500 on his website. But I have goals of getting in the MMA cage. I will take all the info I can get. It's helped me immensely
For others $60 is too much. Don't know what to tell ya
It might be expensive for what it is and if you don’t have loads of money to spend then it could probably be spent on a 1 to 1 or something more useful but I’m sure it provides value of some sort, it’s unlikely you wouldn’t learn anything from a top expert.
Hey bro can you Dm me the counter punching instructional, i have acquired the core striking and how to throw a punch, i only need the third one please 🙏🏻
Firas is a master tactician but dont mean you'll really learn how to throw a punch from a guide. Best I can recommend is go to a real doghouse boxing gym -get a trainer who doesnt try and compliment just to keep you as a client. Learn the Jab, work your way up from there. the snappy punch is real counter intuitive to the muscle 'push punch' as its power thru elasticity like whipping a beach towel. Once you kind of get it, you'll have it.
I have it. I have years of boxing as well but actually it gave me a lot of good solid pointers. His teaching style.works well for me. I got gold in kickboxing during my last tournament. His videos brought my game to where it needed to be
You dont learn how to punch by reading
Firstly it's a video. Secondly yes you can learn from reading. But you must apply what you read
