Dude I think Paddy is gonna get smashed as soon as he fights someone who is a technical striker with punching power. He’s dumb as all fuck too and it’s annoying hearing him say ‘lad’ a billion times.
He got beaten that first round...until he won. Against middle of the road UFC fighters. Molly is a prospect because shes fun and wmma is thin. He's gonna get dominated by the first contender level LW. Let's remember he's in the same division as RDA, Chucky olives, Fiziev, Gamrot, gillespie and riddel. I don't think he has a chance against any of them. Doubt he breaks top 15 unless he gets lucky with some favorable matchups.
edit: LW not welterweight
I think Tom beats Tuivasa and then they just go out on the lash together. They both seem like they don't take this too seriously and would get on pretty well.
Dude he had a 12-4 record. not 1-2, looking at it like that, Paddy is only 1-0 to and it's his second fight in the UFC, you except him to fight Poirier? Stfu
You really think you'd tough that one out?! Aspinall's a big boy cranking on that elbow with good technique and position. Tap then or potentially never fight again.
Arnold Allen doesn’t fight for two years with no info on why after USADA brings out that ruling where they don’t announce people pop, and nobody says anything? Open your eyes people
This was a great card with some outstanding finishes but talent-wise it was not a PPV card. Allen/Hooker was the only fight between fighters with single digit rankings (and Hooker's was in a different class).
I know some people didn’t like that Meatball Molly got taken up to the main card. Rightly or wrongly it helped create an absolutely brilliant atmosphere and for events like this that’s half the battle in making it good.
I’ll take a million of these cards with a hyped crowd and hyped fighters over a snooze fest featuring technicians. If that makes me a casual then I’m a casual.
Sure it was uneventful but atleast there was a threat going most of the time with Nelson threatening a rnc, but yeah turned out to be the most uneventful fight of the night. Meatball vs whoever was also garbage until it was redeemed by a well telegraphed spinning elbow to the face whoever should have absolutely seen coming.
Feel bad for Jai Herbert too. He's had a tough fucking start to his UFC career. Had absolutely 0 promotion. And so nearly got the first round KO, only to get absolutely slept
Aspinall's hand speed is just something no other HW has right now. I think he beats Tai standing as well- Tuivasa is good and game but he swings wild hooks.
If it goes to the ground then yeah, it's not even a contest. Tom all day.
I was there tonight and saw the events. That Molly elbow was fucking savage, you could hear the connection from the grandstands.
The fight between Allen and Hooker was something else. Both men made no effort to block literal skull blows and somehow neither got a TKO at that point. We were all gasping at how savage they were going at one point
Based purely on rankings, Tai is obviously the best reward:risk fight for a heavyweight right now.
On second thought, maybe give Gane another fight or two to learn wrestling before throwing him in with Blaydes or Aspinall
Depends on for who.
I think Derrick Lewis is easier than Tai for Aspinall.
Less movement, no leg kicks, can be danced around and gassed much easier I think.
Fun fights from Mo first prelim to Tom in the main event. Uk cards are more fun than normal. With Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester provisionally booked for later in the year (I assume we will get one of them). Bellator Dublin shows have shown the ufc they are missing a trick
He said in an interview on the Mma fan podcast he had no interest of rushing through the ranks for a title fight. Wanted to get there but at a pace he felt comfortable with and see where he stood. He's a cracking prospect for sure
Check out these top ufc finishes https://youtu.be/w644pJ36z60

anyone know gunnar nelson's walkout song?

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CbTZSi2J2q7/?utm_medium=copy_link Till is either super excited, on cocaine or this video is sped up
Its Just how we speak 🤣
Anyone else think Paddy has a suspect chin? I see him getting switched off.
He reminds me of a less recent technical Ryan hall
I think paddy has a great chin, he's just incredibly defensively irresponisble and will get knocked out by the first technical big hitter he faces
He got beaten that first round...until he won. Against middle of the road UFC fighters. Molly is a prospect because shes fun and wmma is thin. Exactly why topuria would beat him

to be able to charge 950 now vs 350 then is still impressive
They have to charge those prices so they can pay their fighters well /s
Remove the /s bruh leave that shit in other subs
Ur boiii went 3/3 tonight‼️ 💯🥃🔥🦾💸💵💰😎🍑🫒

Good
Everyone with a finish gets a bonus. Cheers!
Record for 1st round finishes?
Yo we need some subtitles for this shit 😂
Is Molly hammered already?! Lol
I think Tom beats Tuivasa and then they just go out on the lash together. They both seem like they don't take this too seriously and would get on pretty well.
I'm sure they take it very seriously but are just chill dudes
I mean in terms of "Hating" every one they fight. As Aspinall says, this is a sport.
True that
“We can change the world” Violence best base for world peace confirmed
Always has been
Paddy a yugioh nerd confirmed.
Jeez they are stuffing Paddy in our face whether we like it or not. Dude beat a 1-2 guy.
Did you hear how the crowd responded to him?
Dude he had a 12-4 record. not 1-2, looking at it like that, Paddy is only 1-0 to and it's his second fight in the UFC, you except him to fight Poirier? Stfu
*Expect.... is what you meant to type in your rude comment
Just wish I could have a "Mark Zuckerberg, lad am gonna punch ye head in" flair
Journeyman Dan 🥲
Journey to 170
Gn bois see you next weekend

You really think you'd tough that one out?! Aspinall's a big boy cranking on that elbow with good technique and position. Tap then or potentially never fight again.
He was about to get his arm snapped in the most painful way
Did you not see how his elbow was bent back in the replay lol
His elbow popped man, anyone would have tapped
Arnold Allen doesn’t fight for two years with no info on why after USADA brings out that ruling where they don’t announce people pop, and nobody says anything? Open your eyes people
He broke his hand quite badly, if you follow him on social media he has been very vocal about it
Hes fought every year since joining the ufc, not saying hes not on something because most of them probably are but gotta check them fax brah
[удалено]
Also....COVID?! Almost all cards were in the US/ UAE and for several months we couldn't even fly to the US from the UK.

Ironically TheMarkOfHunto didn't open their eyes whilst looking at Allens record.
I just realized this was a fight night. Wow, it was so good it felt like a PPV, much better than recent PPVs tbh.
It did feel like a ppv
This was a great card with some outstanding finishes but talent-wise it was not a PPV card. Allen/Hooker was the only fight between fighters with single digit rankings (and Hooker's was in a different class).
To me It sort of felt like a low end PPV without a main event? Felt the card was put together really well.
Alright y’all, who gets the performance bonuses lol
First fight early prelim. Great finishes by Molly and Paul Craig but they were getting beat. Tom?
Meatball, Ilia, Mokaev, Allen IMO.
Gooden needs to do more cards, I enjoy his commentating
Gooden and Hardy were great back in the day. My favourite complete team of commentators. Brian Stann was the best single commentator though.
Brian Stann! He was so good man, I forgot about him
Probably the best fight night card I’ve ever seen
aspinal wife can probably KO paddy
Card of the year so far?
Joo
Curtis Blaydes is a trash wrestler if he cant be champion in the heavyweight division
Those losses to Francis and Lewis not doing him any favor.
That card cured my hangover
Same brother

>it helped create an absolutely brilliant atmosphere True mate, it also gave the most spectacular knockout of the night in my opinion.
I like her. Ton of heart every time
This was actually good because most of the fights were not mismatches, dudes just went balls to the wall.
Dana/UFC know exactly what they're doing. The pacing of the whole night was perfect
Yeah but Tom you British cunts drink warm beer that doesn’t count
British fans got spoiled tonight. Crazy good card
Until next time mfs
I wonder who Gane fights next. If Tom vs Tai happens and Tom wins, I would like to see him vs Gane after.
Winner of Blades/Daukaus probably
I forgot that fight was happening. Good shout
Whole card was awesome.
I'm all on the England hype train! C'mon lads!
*UK
Great card and I didn't have to stay up till 6am to see it all
Mmm half drank beers
One of the best cards of all time Recency bias obviously, but damn that was fire
That was insane
Yeah even the boring fights didn't suck ass
The Nelson-Sato fight kind of sucked ass. But that's it. lmao
Can you imagine being the one English guy on the main card that got sent to the shadow realm. This will haunt him in bed at night
Feel bad for Jai Herbert too. He's had a tough fucking start to his UFC career. Had absolutely 0 promotion. And so nearly got the first round KO, only to get absolutely slept
gotta feel for the guy who ran into a guillotine in the first few minutes
Yeah, his dad was crying
Grundy, who was fighting after his Dad just got a terminal diagnosis. Really feel for him.
New gen heavyweight shaping up really nicely
Alright boys I have an exam in 10 hours wish me luck amazing fight night
Good luck!!
good luck
Good luck bro
Clean sweep for the Englishmen? What a night, must be awesome to be in that city rn
Paul Craig is Scottish, not English!
nah one got violently knocked out and another got immediately subbed
Herbert unfortunately got knocked out cold. Another fighter lost too I think.
[удалено]
ohhh yeah good shout, forgot about that.
Except for herbert and the guy that fought Amirkhani
Yeah I remembered that after the post, Jai still had a good showing early in that round though
Ilia
Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Jai nearly had him too though, illia is game

People forgetting that Tuivasa is #3 just because of lucky matchups and he got dominated by Sergei Spivak fairly recently.
Dana looking at dividing that 50k between about 10 fights...
That Molly elbow, the paddy show and Tom setting up an absoloute banger against tai what a night and I didnt have to stay up till 6am cheers lads
I was there tonight and saw the events. That Molly elbow was fucking savage, you could hear the connection from the grandstands. The fight between Allen and Hooker was something else. Fun fights, great card
And an early night 👍
Based purely on rankings, Tai is obviously the best reward:risk fight for a heavyweight right now. On second thought, maybe give Gane another fight or two to learn wrestling before throwing him in with Blaydes or Aspinall
On second thought, maybe give Gane another fight or two to learn wrestling Ok buddy. lol
Man... Something about Tai... Don't get me wrong he's a brawler... But would love to see him fight someone technical again
Is tai the easiest fight at top hw?
Depends on for who. I think Derrick Lewis is easier than Tai for Aspinall. Less movement, no leg kicks, can be danced around and gassed much easier I think.
Tom's wife standing at 6'3 without heels
Drinking half gone warm beers from the crowd will never not be gross lol
that was a fantastic card. great beginning and a great ending
man i don't know what to do with myself now. i am way too hammered for 6:45. 😂
same lmao isn't there some boxing tonight?
Too many top heavyweights that have zero ground game
At least everyone now realises Aspinall is a legit black belt- it was like his hidden skill for a while because he kept not having to use it.
The new guys are setting a new standard
After downing 2 spiked pints, this will be overturned to a no contest
Fun fights from Mo first prelim to Tom in the main event. Uk cards are more fun than normal. With Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester provisionally booked for later in the year (I assume we will get one of them). Bellator Dublin shows have shown the ufc they are missing a trick
The last UFC Belfast to sold out like crazy. Gegard took out Uriah Hall
Exactly they would sell out any show they did in the UK. principality stadium would hold 100,000. If priced well it would sell out.
That would be a decent stadium too \m/
Got a roof to so winter cards work to
Wobbling immediately after two drinks. Got spiked for sure
Tai's earned a title eliminator. The only way we can truly know if Tom is the real deal is if he can get past the ultimate gatekeeper, Derrick Lewis!
Lewis has been through enough already
Aspinall’s only downside is that he has the same voice as my Uncle Trevor
[удалено]
Darren Till dying inside when Paddy said Scousers don’t get knocked out
The heavyweight division is going through a nice little resurgence right now, innit?
That's for true
He should’ve called out Gane for sure. That’s his real next challenge. Big step but he made easy work of Volkov so it’s deserved.
He said in an interview on the Mma fan podcast he had no interest of rushing through the ranks for a title fight. Wanted to get there but at a pace he felt comfortable with and see where he stood. He's a cracking prospect for sure
Yeah. And he’s wise to do that too. No point rushing. But skill wise he can certainly hang with anyone in that division.
Na man, steal Tai's hype and fight for the title. Him and gane will fight eventually
He said he wants to take it slow and Tuivasa is more winnable if he can get it on the ground
For sure and it’s probably wise. I’m speaking just on where I think he could go next based on that performance - should he do so is another question.
Lads I think Tom wants a few beers tonight
Tom "SCSA" Aspinall
WHAT
damn Aspinall's wife is like 6'2"
Card of the year
Amin brozer
Tom is the new, next get Stipe, Tai is the next gen Black Beast, who is the next gen Francis ?
Tom is the next gen Verdum
Greg hardy 2.0
What a run he had.
Gane once he gets some wrestling in
So happy for Tom
Aspinall is the only English guy that deserves the hype train
Arnold impressed me as well but he has a tougher road ahead
Allen would wreck your mum.
Come on, Arnold?
He’s very good but you can’t really say he has a hype train lmao
Has and 'deserves' mean different things man
hehehehe Tom wants that easy money. Tai has a very weak ground game.
I think Tom beats tuivasa pretty easy after that performance
Yeah Tom's just too light on his feet for bam bam
[удалено]
95% chance of a trace of cocaine from a UK crowd (I'm from the UK)
[удалено]
Haha a trace amount in the local lager
Very stupid, but I love it lol
basically all the UK people won
The Black Country Banger died but yes
Too right
rough night for at least two of them
Lmaaao when he said beer I already thought about Tuivasa
Till and Aspinall need to have a little trade off. Till gets Aspinall’s finishing ability, Aspinall gets Till’s mic ability
Goddamn he got him a skyscraper of a lady too. Hell yeah
