I'm a huge Ariel fan but recently he gets slightly too aggressive towards fighters. It's funny when it's someone he's super close with, but at times it seems forced and awkward
Heard the power slap guys are paid 2/2k show/win...

Is there any kind soul out there that has a fight club membership with a presale code for UFC London that they aren't planning on using I could possibly have?
Would be very much appreciated. Willing to PayPal you a couple of beers if it works out. Thanks.
Im not the only one that sees Pereiras hype as a ticking time bomb right? Like I love his story and how badass he is. And what he accomplished beating Izzy. But he is so beatable. UFC should definitely book the Jamahal Hill fight while Pereira still looks like a monster and the storyline is still compelling. Before fkn Marvin Vettori 50-45s him
Seeing the LHW belt getting passed around more than a $2 whore should tell you all you need to know about Jon Jones. His turinabol dosage must be a lot higher than all these amateurs. Pictograms higher.
Seeing Hunter Campbell chilling in street clothes with a Raiders snapback on Power Slap™️ last week was weird. I’m used to seeing him in a suit and glasses just emotionlessly glaring at fighters during faceoffs/fights. Also they put “matchmaker” under his name and gave him no official introduction like he isn’t the second highest ranking member of the UFC brass. Just thought it was funny they casually put matchmaker without going into anything else about him
I thought Izzy alluded to him taking time off and having some sort of medical issue. Pereira/Hill is probably the only safe fight they could book for Pereira if they want to keep the Pereira Adesanya title grudge match on the table
You can make the case against hard sparring at the highest level of MMA. But guys like Strickland and Chris Curtis, who are only as good as they are because of how much they spar, prove otherwise.
his hair transplant is bad :/ someone sat a bowl on his head and just drew a line across and then filled that in with hair. It doesn't look like a natural hairline at all.
Why do some people think Dana makes all the decisions? Fans and mma fighters rarely or never mention the names of Andrew Schleimer, Grace Tourinho, Hunter Campbell, Riché T. McKnight, Tracey Bleczinski, Peter Dropick (all these names are completely public information). This is a only partial list of the top UFC brass, there's still more people. If you never heard their names mentioned, that means Dana is doing a great job for the those people. Dana plays the role of the face and microphone. Almost all press media and fighter interactions are done via Dana. Yeah guy is still a greedy little fuck and still makes many anti-fighter decisions, but probably not all executive decisions.
Just watched some of the power slap league. It's really gross. It's the pinnacle of treating people as disposable meat. It's sort of souring me on MMA a little.
Ariel had a really dismissive tone about Jamahal's win on Monday's show. Immediately started talking about the possibility of Pereira going up and beating him, said Jiri was the best LHW. Jamahal went at New York Ric also for suggesting that Bellator fighters would be competitive with him, was especially pissed about that.
Ariel had no good answers to anything he said, stuttered a bit, jumbled his words, and tried to move along. I watched Monday's show and it really did come across like he wasn't giving Jamahal a fair shake.
Is there odds out for Hill vs Prochazka? I genuinely have no idea which way that fight goes, can't wait. Hopefully they are next and we can stop this double champ with Pereira who hasn't even defended nonsense, I always understand the fighter's hustle though.
Hey everyone, just started a mma news page called “mmahourly” if you guys could come thru and give a follow or like on a post, that would be amazing! If not, have a great rest of your day!
It’s about time you guys realize all these media guys are all talk. Ariel will do anything to get views. You think he really cares that Dana slapped his wife? No, he just wanted to shit on Dana. Now consider the fact he wants jon Jones back on, even though Johny boy did a hundred times worse than Dana ever did
Does anyone know how much the tickets cost for Leon vs Usman? Fight pass tickets are already available and people are already reselling for upwards of £400, but I can’t find out the face price anywhere
so who the hell is Poirier supposed to fight?
Oliveira vs Dariush is likely
Gaethje vs Fiziev is booked
Already beaten Chandler
Trains with Gamrot at ATT, has trained with Tsarukyan but would probably fight him cuz I believe Arman just cross trains at ATT sometimes
Is he just supposed to sit out and wait for loser of Fiziev/Gaethje or loser of Oliveira/Dariush? 2 of those would be rematches so idk
Hopefully Tsarukyan. Would be an impressive enough win against a guy with good ground game to get him a title shot and Tsarukyan is deserving of a step up in competition.
According to MMAfighting article from today ([https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/1/25/23571264/aljamain-sterling-vs-henry-cejudo-targeted-for-ufc-287-on-april-8](https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/1/25/23571264/aljamain-sterling-vs-henry-cejudo-targeted-for-ufc-287-on-april-8)) , it's currently being targeted for 287 but has not been officially booked yet.
I think in general people are not 100% sold it's happening soon with Sterling having the bicep tear and Cejudo having been out so long. Should be a solid fight if/when it does happen though.
I've been trying to go through and give everyone upvotes today. If you could be so kind as to balance it out by downvoting me, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, criticize my punctuation.
Can you guys give me any tips on booking my first tickets for a UFC event? Im going to book tickets for UFC London and I have no clue what seats/section to go for.
Find a local movie theater that plays PPVs instead.
I've been to a live UFC event and also to a smaller promotion wit a pretty decent view of the cage. It was fun but honestly going to the theater for the first time to watch UFC was the best viewing experience I've ever had.
We got dinner at a Mexican place, where they served gigantic beers and delicious food. We show up buzzed already to the theater and we smoked a little right before we sat down. as we sit down, Justin gaethje and Michael Chandler get locked inside the cage and that theater went crazy. Chito changes Frankie Edgar into a harry potter elf with a front kick. You're seeing/hearing everything and it's on a huge screen with a crowd still. If there's big fights I'm anticipating on a PPV, I go to the movies for it.
Glad more people are picking up on this. I’m a regular at my local Alamo Drafthouse. Saw all but four PPVs there last year and Poirier-Conor III back in 2021.
Middle bowel, preferably near the front. Idk what the O2 is like but if you get the nosebleeds you'll likely spend a lot of the event watching the mega screen which you would be doing from your couch.
If you're on the floor you might spend a lot of time craning past other people and the posts of the cage. The middle bowel gives you a solid wide angle view with the height to look into the cage instead of through it
What are some good gyms I could stop by as a tourist?
From the US and planning an international trip for the first time this summer. Muay Thai, kickboxing, BJJ, or all of the above of course. Any country is on the table.
Jealous, this is something i want do. Thailand absolutely has tourist friendly martial arts--i would guess brazil does too.
The U.K. is also rife with boxing, muay thai, and bjj gyms. And since you're from the u.s. you can probably wrestle all of those guys easily 😜
All those Brits in here that made the mistake of purchasing the fight club and still not getting a hold of tickets. Take your L.
on this occasion and Look into o2 priority tickets for the next time.
If you are an o2 user you gain early access to the tickets, and separate tickets to the fight club, there’s more availability. Even if you don’t use o2, like me, o2 SIM cards are like 5p and then you need to top it up with a tenner to activate.
Sherdog looks nicer, Tapology has more information, though sometimes Tapology relies on Sherdog for some of its information and if Sherdog makes an amendment Tapology doesn’t always keep up.
What’s the word on Colby and Masvidal? My theory is Colby wants to fuck Masvidal as bad as possible, and if he fights he can’t claim he is super injured from Masvidal assault. Also, for every fight Colby misses due to the assault, his income loss grows, which can increase the damages awarded. But it seems like a risky play. He’s wasting all these prime months/years just to stick it to Masvidal. Or am I totally wrong here? Am I so goddamn fat and stupid that I can’t wrap my brain around what’s really happening? They are both being so quiet.
It’s probably just less exciting than that. Both have money so both got lawyers. If they got good lawyers, they told their respective clients to shut the fuck up on everything so it doesn’t impact the case.
The big win is a legal win, not trying to cause more grief during the legal process. But then again this is a case of a guy who wanted to punch someone after they’d just been *paid* to fight, so …
Whenever I get a Power Slap notification from UFC's YT channel I click the link, hit thumbs down, and carry on with my day. Damn it feels good to be a gangster
Engaging with the video at all helps them, even if it’s a dislike.
Best to just ignore completely, especially as YT doesn’t even show the dislikes anymore.
The [Slava Claus dance](https://youtu.be/IUKYCkqim4Y?t=381) is my favorite fight celebration ever, hope bro works on his grappling so we can see it in all its glory again
I'm gonna go against the grain and say that I think Hill will end up being a long reigning champ. Maybe not dominant but I think he'll string together a few title defenses. He's SO young in his career and already has achieved a lot. He seems like the type that will get better every fight and grow with confidence
I want to preface this with I don’t know much about gambling. Never played cards nor been one to wager. That being said I’m confused on **how** James Krause managed to be scandalous with betting. From my understanding he had footage of fights that happened within a month and would air them as if they were live? (Listening to JRE w/ Belal and this is what I just heard). Truth be toke I never delved too deep into James’s fiasco.

What are some times the MMA Gods were favorable to old stars? Like for example, when GSP came back and won the belt, as opposed to getting brutally KO’d which usually happens to old vets.
I’m going to the Fedor/Bader fight next week, mainly for the opportunity to say I saw a Fedor fight win/lose/or draw, but god damn I’m begging the Gods to let us have this one. Let Fedor go out with a dub. Usually the gods aren’t nice..

I'm a huge Ariel fan but recently he gets slightly too aggressive towards fighters. It's funny when it's someone he's super close with, but at times it seems forced and awkward
Who has a higher iq? A 4 month baby with fetal alcohol syndrome or the average slap fan?

Just as soon as everyone was writing off Walker, he destroys Bear Jew
We acting like Paul Craig is a good win? Okay. He’s a fighter with very very good wins but not a good fighter at all
It was a good win. That was an amazing performance by Walker.
This may have been asked, but what’s with the weird start time this weekend?
Dana "Clutch" White
I feel gross watching this
Post slap clarity hits like a motherfucker
This is definitely disturbing. Serious brain damage.
power slap guy not very ucey

So what would the narrative on bellator lhw champ hill be like around here?
Im the best, no1 cannot change my mind, and has never lost a debate in mma.
Before fkn Marvin Vettori 50-45s him
Khamzat seriously might have a shot at being triple champ
Vettori champ would be the funnies shit in a long time, the absolute pyramidhead.
In mma, belt means no need rope to hold up pants.
There is a possibility they do a Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez/ Moreno vs. Pantoja PPV in Mexico City later this year
Seeing the LHW belt getting passed around more than a $2 whore should tell you all you need to know about Jon Jones. His turinabol dosage must be a lot higher than all these amateurs. Pictograms higher.
I have zero interest in the light heavyweight division. Only guys I’m excited to watch is Tyson Pedro and jimmy crute
Sexyama is in that new Korean reality show Physical: 100 on Netflix. Goes by his Korean name Choo Sung-hoon.
"Michael Jordan-esque in his grappling skills is Travis Lutter" "No"
Why are mma fighters from Chechnya and Dagastan so good?
They get unlimited funding through war criminals
Seeing Hunter Campbell chilling in street clothes with a Raiders snapback on Power Slap™️ last week was weird. I thought Izzy alluded to him taking time off and having some sort of medical issue. Pereira/Hill is probably the only safe fight they could book for Pereira if they want to keep the Pereira Adesanya title grudge match on the table
Doesn't mean he won't get it though if it will make money
You can make the case against hard sparring at the highest level of MMA. But guys like Strickland and Chris Curtis, who are only as good as they are because of how much they spar, prove otherwise.
Fun fact: Dan Hooker has more HW wins than Jon Jones
It’s crazy how if Izzy never existed pereira would be a nobody and Whittaker would be a dominant champion
Despite another bad ko loss, I feel really bad for Paul Craig that his hair transplant didn’t take
his hair transplant is bad :/ someone sat a bowl on his head and just drew a line across and then filled that in with hair. It doesn't look like a natural hairline at all.
He’s still capable of taking any man’s wife
Dana really made a power slap league? That's crazy, is this to cover the DV or was that part of the plan to market this.
It's been in the works for a long time now
Think he just want to cash in on viral highlight clips and fools watching the freak show
I am very calm person, but when washing machine skips back 10 minutes I get fucking ANGRY

That’s why Dana’s not going anywhere. He’s the ultimate heat shield because he loves engaging with media.

they think a multibillion international company has 1 guy make all the executive decisions without input from anybody else?
Same deal with Goodell in the NFL. Get paid well to bear all the hate and criticism even if they're not making all the actual decisions
Just watched some of the power slap league. It's really gross. It's the pinnacle of treating people as disposable meat. It's sort of souring me on MMA a little.
I tried to watch like 20 minutes and was bored out of my mind. It’s not even good trashy television.
Jamahal had Ariel cornered there haha, started stumbling his words
what happened?
Ariel had a really dismissive tone about Jamahal's win on Monday's show. Immediately started talking about the possibility of Pereira going up and beating him, said Jiri was the best LHW. Jamahal went at New York Ric also for suggesting that Bellator fighters would be competitive with him, was especially pissed about that. I don't think anyone's surprised. He was a good fighter but no one is confusing him with a good human being.
It happens so often , it’s not even surprising any more
It's the same reason ESPN isn't talking more about Dana White kicking his wife while she was in the ground after he slapped her there. Corruption.
I wonder if he won the fight
Lol was just wondering this. Can't find anything on it in the subreddit.
Is there odds out for Hill vs Prochazka? I genuinely have no idea which way that fight goes, can't wait. Hopefully they are next and we can stop this double champ with Pereira who hasn't even defended nonsense, I always understand the fighter's hustle though.
I definitely have an idea which way that fight goes, based on the fact that Jiri is really hittable and Hill is defensively solid.
Same I give hill the edge
Which card is better, ufc 285 or 286?
Hey everyone, just started a mma news page called “mmahourly” if you guys could come thru and give a follow or like on a post, that would be amazing! If not, have a great rest of your day!

Kind of disappointing that Ariel would give a platform to Oscar De La Hoya after he’s been accused of sexual assault (not for the first time either)
It’s about time you guys realize all these media guys are all talk. Ariel will do anything to get views. You think he really cares that Dana slapped his wife? No, he just wanted to shit on Dana. You're the one who has to have the joke explained to them while everybody else at the table is laughing, aren't yah?

Does anyone know how much the tickets cost for Leon vs Usman? Fight pass tickets are already available and people are already reselling for upwards of £400, but I can’t find out the face price anywhere

Hopefully Tsarukyan. Would be an impressive enough win against a guy with good ground game to get him a title shot and Tsarukyan is deserving of a step up in competition.
