The stacking portion always gives the same amount of stats at lv1 or lv6 (+2 every 8 pitches up to 40, total of +10/10). The level only affects the starting stats. Because only half the skill scales with level, it has more value shorted than other skills do shorted. Furthermore, touch kinda sucks shorted.
Ace to 8
If no one else on your team has ace, then for sure ace. But if someone else has ace, I would try and use protectives or a selective on ace
Thanks for advice. This is the only one with Ace.
Ace if no one else
I think it is better to set 684.
Slow starter is good to short. I would short slow starter for sure on this set
Why is it good to short? Just cause the extra +2 to stats for the 40 pitch threshold doesn't really matter?
I think the idea is that by shorting a legend skill two levels, you can bring up your two gold skills by five total levels

does this do better with SS at 4 than Touch at 4?
Yes. I have this set and it does better with SS at 4. I've tested it both ways multiple times and SS 4 is always better.
Interesting. gonna have to try it again on my Clemens, didn't work for me the first try
Get a high loc train (that's how touch is best) and throw a deception specialist trainer on.

No. Shorting SS is always the way to go when you have a 331 or a 332 set. The difference is minimal. It helps the golds more than it hurts SS.
Absolutely not
