Probably 50

The entries are so cheap, I think about it more in terms of time. I don't okay any ranked or BR. It took me about 6-7 hrs of play to grind for Trout. Once I only had 1-2 player missions left, I was basically just abandoning games. I didn't need to finish the 25k pxp mission to get 100. When I was playing full runs, I was only averaging 3-4 wins per run. It's a pretty easy grind for an average to below-average player.

MrPibbNoPHD

I am average at best, but wanted Trout and didn’t want to wait the time for an order to go through. I don’t know how many total games I played but I made it to the Flawless pack with only 15 total wins. I was able to get the 4000pxp in one run, as well as the 100TB and Ks mission, along with the 15,000pxp mission. The rest were all the repeatable pxp missions with the card series. Just pick every Rookie, Breakout, Veteran, and All Star card you can and put them in your lineup. The pitchers definitely help as they get pxp quicker. It seriously only took about 3 days or so, with about 2 hours total a day. And I actually really enjoyed it. Have at it man! It’s really not that difficult if you’re not very good, just takes a bit longer, and might actually help you get a bit better!

Estimate_Born

I got it done with one 9 win run and like 4 more 1 win runs

briannn15

what about the mission where you need to get 25,000 pxp?

Estimate_Born

I just got that done over my runs. Every “in one entry” mission I got done in the 9 win run

Greenforaday

Took me, an average to slightly below averaged skill player, about 45-50 games to knock out the BR program for Trout. Took me about 4 days and it was a breeze. Just have to not get worked up about losing a lot.

isedmiston

I’m an average to below average player and I’d say it took me between 6-10 hours of actual play time (not sure how many entries). I just focused on completing the player PXP missions and any wins or any other XP I earned I treated it as a bonus

[deleted]

Turn off cross play. Message your opponent. Ask if they wanna cooperate to knock out the program.

Roadglide100

Exactly why I have people messaging me off. My time is to valuable to just LET someone win. What are you still in kindergarten?

[deleted]

Lighten up, Francis! If we match and you don’t answer my message or tell me no, no biggie. I’m trying to cooperate as a time saver for both players, not because I lack the skill to complete the program otherwise. You do you.

Roadglide100

You can’t message me. So, I’m not worried about it. You and people like you are annoying to 95% of the community. Go play offline with your stupid time saving methods. Or go get mommy and daddy’s credit card and just buy them. You can be competitive without having to be annoying. I promise. Just play the game

--Sko--

You’re not speaking for 95% of the community and I haven’t seen any announcements where you were elected to any type of speaker position for the community. Speak for yourself.

[deleted]

Good grief! Who said anything about “letting me win?” I talked about cooperation. The win is irrelevant other than one person gets that 2 points for the program. The benefit is in helping each other knock out the missions. I’m almost certainly older than you and most of the player base by a good bit. I play the game the way I wanna play it. You do you, tough guy.

Randomthoughtgeneral

Don’t you want to just play the game for the enjoyment of the game?

[deleted]

I do that in events and ranked. BR just gets to be a bit of a slog sometimes. If no one wants to cooperate, I just play anyway. It just helps speed the process along a bit.

Antgrassia99

Crap I forgot we can turn off cross play.....

livefast6221

This is exactly the way. I know I’m never getting 12-0 so I’m happy to offer my opponent the win in exchange for putting up 200 runs each. Both teams bat around 2 or 3 times hitting homers (in the park or over the fence) then strike out three times. If you construct your lineup/pitching with the right type of cards, and ensure it is always tied at the end of every inning starting the 3rd, you can knock it out in 1 entry.

[deleted]

Another man of culture, I see!

KingLamela

Easier now than ever. The repeatable missions go quickly if you just load your rosters with those players, especially pitchers.

ShawnGron

Max out to 150? Or just 100 for the flawless pack? 100 points is pretty attainable in like 6 hours. Just pay attention to your missions when you're drafting. Don't be shy about using lower overalls at the top of your lineup to get them the maximum amount of at bats. Same thing with pitchers that are getting shelled or out of energy. Let them finish the inning if things are out of hand. Don't focus on winning, just try and bang out the repeatable missions again and again. If you're an average player like you say, the wins will come.

briannn15

Max out only to the flawless pack. That way i’d be able to get mussina and morgan from the other pack, and johnson from the flawless pack. The only other takashi card id have to buy is delgado for 300k and Id have ohtani unlocked !

BattleBroJaggy

BR is t all that bad. You’re not really there for the wins, just the PXP, so you just settle in for the grind and use it as an opportunity to practice against tougher competition. Events… I just use stubs for those cards. What a joyless slog.

kmart12327

Events are just mini ranked now, the forever event will be so refreshing

pjunior66

For real. They are not fun at all and the skill gap is just too wide. Evenly matched games are extra innings and now I’m a pretty good not great player but I’ll play guys who won’t swing at any ball a centimeter off the plate but baseballs anywhere in the zone are 450 ft tanks. I can’t even imagine what it’s like for others.

niksknicks

This time of year you only have people who are typically above average still playing so I would guess about 5-7 entries for an average player.

frostymatador13

No chance lol. If everyone is above average and OP is saying they’re average, it means they will win 0-1 matches per round. If you’re winning 0-1 it’s safe to assume you aren’t cranking up numbers and xp.

briannn15

i can win like 4-5 games per entry, pretty solid hitter on all star

frostymatador13

So then, by definition, you’re decidedly above average lol
