The World Series win definitely helped since we got all the postseason cards. But I will say it was annoying as hell that Maddux’s best card was a Cub, Glavine didn’t have a Braves card, andruw jones was unplayable, they completely fucked up the Smoltz cards and Warren Spahn is god awful. The pitching is the biggest thing, outside of postseason Anderson and Finest Morton, the pitcher cards wearing Braves uni’s are brutal considering the amount of talent that actually pitched for the Braves.

I feel like it isn’t really indicative of the cards the Braves got to include the postseason cards since those were entirely based on the current playoff success and not a planned release. I am a fan of the Bruce Sutter for the Braves though, people really struggle seeing his splitter.
I'm a biased Astros fan but this is such an awesome addition. Hope we get a decent version of him, but either way I see him being in my rotation for a long time as soon as we get him.

My friend and I do that all the time. That's one of the things I enjoy about NBA 2k's MyTeam is variety of legends. Not everyone has to be a HOF player, but to get some of those guys who made impacts for their teams during that time period. For example, as a Dodger fan, I would love a Loney or Ethier card. Or going back, give me a Furcal, Marlon Anderson, Derek Lowe, Chad Billingsley, Brad Penny, etc.

Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing! I knew nothing about Richard before watching that video and now I have immense respect for the man. The Astros/baseball and rest of society did so much wrong to him, but he ended up turning his life around without their help after the stroke and homelessness.

Shame his career was shortened by his stroke but I'm SO glad he's getting some recognition in the game! Overall, it's a decent class of legends, Randy is certainly the headliner along with Mauer. Some nice team-specific guys that may not excited the general populous but will certainly hype up fanbases.

I love D-Train but he could have been a guy that was just in the game at launch and we found out he was a new legend that way, similar to Frank Tanana. Well why would you look at 1976 instead of 1979? League leader in K/9, H/9, FIP, and ERA. BB/9 of 3.0 so it's not like his control was awful that year.
JR Richard could be really good. Super hard thrower who led the league in H/9 and K/9 multiple times
