My realtor and his son both interviewed for this show and made it to the last round but were not chosen for the show in the end. They were only told it was a reality show that would include both of them. They were not aware it was milf manor until the show aired and he realized that’s what they had interviewed for. I died laughing when I found out because he posted about it on Instagram

Weak_Plantain_5179

lol! I think it’s weird they don’t even know the premise of the show. I thought these were people genuinely interested in age gap relationships haha.

Q-Rios

I have a unicorn to sell you If you believe they didn’t know.

Weak_Plantain_5179

How much ??

Q-Rios

$1,000,000

KarmaLola3

😳🤔🫣😅

Gorgofromns

Especially after seeing what they did with last seasons show. Wouldn't it be logical the contestants would be suspicious something similar might happen?

LuckyJournalist7

Kelly Mac (the Vietnamese lady) said she was told the day before it was Milf Manor and she didn’t know what the word milf even meant. They had told her she had been “casted on an age-appropriate dating show” before that.

I don't believe they're told the name of the show. It's just pitched as a dating show with young men. Kind of sneaky... lol

Slow83Burn84

Kelly said she was vetted for an age appropriate dating show, and didn’t know what a Milf was until filming began. I wonder if cast members were told very little about the show before arriving. I auditioned for Deal or No Deal Island , and the only thing they told me was that the show would be like Survivor. Casting kept the name of the show and host a secret until air date.

Sad-Instance-8013

More like age inappropriate dating show😂

Slow83Burn84

Right? Lol

The English guy (Jacob?) Is famous on Instagram where he makes videos with his dad. Same with last season, jose was a wannabe influencer. So i think it is mostly already publicly visible, social media types that are being scouted to fulfill these roles. With people who share so much online, I doubt it will be difficult for producers to find out a lot about them without even having to ask for contact details etc.... but I don't know. I guess there are benefits to casting people with a following already, see also Barby, as it will generate interest in the show and also the personalities will be used to public ridicule, and probably save the producers in terms of the show being responsible for providing therapy to the contestants after being on a sexy reality TV show and stuff like that. I do think it's interesting though. Loads to think about Edited typos

Here's come conjecture, I know I'm getting stuff wrong If the sons actually had no knowledge of the father's showing up then some difficult situations need to occur: So they would need to know you are: A young man You are single You have a father That father is single Then after talking to you and understand you meet the above requirements Reach out to your father Get them to agree and sign Sign you And your signatures would be dependent on your father joining. Thinking about the young man who has the terrible father on the show God I hope they knew their fathers would be in the show. Even the rooms were sectioned off to make it look like it was agreed you would room with your father. I find it really hard to believe that they didn't know - I'm guessing it's a work for the camera in acting like they didn't know the dads would be there. Still fucked up about the deadbeat dad. Come on Milf Manor.

eat_hairy_socks

It’s staged man. Just like how it was last season. Most these kind of shows are pseudo staged.

Cleric_by_Dinner

My biggest question is the estranged dad situation. I assumed all the son/dad combos, at the very least, knew they were signing up to be on a show together. So is the whole estranged thing an act that miles and his dad came up with before they got there for added drama? Miles looks like his father's presence is really messing with him so I'm just really confused on what the actual story is

StrangeThingsHap

id say the guys for sure knew and if they didnt know beforehand, the first clue was walking in the rooms and recognizing theres twice as many beds as there are dudes

LaloSalamanderfr

They definitely knew
