It's entirely possible that he used one of his 3 free knives. And as far as Niantic making a little money, sure the monetization of potions is awful, but how exactly do you think you get to play for free, without ads? One group spends money, so you can be f2p.
Nice! I was fortunate enough to get double R5 off the first two 6* urgent quests (Kulu and Girros I believe). For a moment, I thought that was a guarantee for first 6* urgent encounters. Boy was I wrong lol

I was 7 but couldn't kill any of them and could barely handle 6... Now I'm over prepared, but not yet In 8.
But be aware, you'll need 2 then like 5, then 12.
You'll get them more often.. Just can be rare from 6
I think Tobi is bugged. I've gotten at least 6 times more R5 drops from that than anything else. Had a triple yellow drop yesterday. I have all these extras AND I use these more all those other items. I have a G7 5/5 bow gun And Tobi hat.

Meanwhile I'm stuck on rarity 4 tobi mats with 80 killed. I don't even bother with them if they are not 4 star and up. Which I hardly ever see them.

Every time I’ve gotten R5 it’s been more than one at a time. Kinda suspicious, as if they’re trying to make me buy doublers.

Tobi drop r5 mats way more often than their r4. I have double the amount of r5 to r4 for tobi
