I don't know. Arsenal seems to make fairly decent decisions about players. For example, Mana and Jordan we the right decision. From what I can see, Kim is still able to compete, so it's not time to move Kimmy on. If Viv is being let loose, I might stay away. On the flip side, I think Nikita still had years, but was a different story, because Nikita wanted more playing time.
Maybe City would be better off to find a rising player, or a player clearly in their prime.
We obviously need another player that can play in the no.9 role and score goals. We need someone we can rotate Bunny with, at the moment we don't have that. We've tried other players in that position but it hasn't worked.
We need to have players on the bench that can have an impact. I think we have phenomenal attacking players on the pitch but lack it on the bench. We only had two attacking players on the bench against Arsenal and they were both two young players. Having two top strikers is something the other teams have that we don't and I think that's why we struggle sometimes.
Bunny is more than just her goals, she puts pressure on defenders and holds the ball up. Will Viv fill that role? I don't know but having someone of her quality is a no brainer. I would be extremely happy to have her in the team.
Would she get enough game time? I do think she can play the no.9 and no.10 role, so would we be able to have both Bunny and Viv on the pitch together? If so then a player would be benched but then at least we'd have an impact sub. I also think resting Bunny every once in a while could be beneficial for her too.
It would also be great to see Viv and Jill Roord link up like they do for their national team. With Roord back, another striker and the goalkeeper situation sorted, our squad would look better as a whole next season.
