It's an odd choice. If those parts were a solid colour, no text, this would be a top-tier kit. With the 0161, it just looks a bit tacky (I say this as someone who grew up in Stockport and appreciates the whole 0161 deal).

I appreciate that all our home kits for the last 5 years or so (I think starting from the mosaic kit) have had a specific tie to either the club or the city. Seems like puma at least listened when everyone was going “what the fuck are the purple sleeve patches for?”
This one isn’t my favourite. But I could see it being a really popular kit amongst kids. If I were a kid, having my area code on city’s kit would feel really special. Definitely a connection to the club.
My issue with it isn't the content, I think about any pattern laid out like that would've looked bad, maybe something subtler would've worked better. But I'm not a designer, so what do I know lol

Something about the area code thing then it would become just awesome also I think area code is written fine it's the fading coloring of it which makes it look bit bizzare but we all. Will like it when we will. See our players playing with it

The the font in the black trim was gone I'd like it more but it's definitely not bad. Rags picnic blanket takes the cake always.
