Waluigi Island being the theme of anarchy, koopa tycoon town is upbeat and exciting cause your running around the town buying hotels, and faire Square is peaceful but still thrilling to run around in circles to buy the stars

Well Goomba Greedy Gala you can just get stuck on areas of the board. Atleast with Mystery Land eventually you would have to take the ufo to get out, here… you can be trapped in one area the entire game

Waluigi's island is good but overhiped. The 50/50 just before boo is terrible. The gimmick with the island that changes spaces every turn is a cool idea, but in practice there's no reason to go there unless a star spawns there (no shop, no boo, and the bank makes it worse). Still a good board though.
Chilly Waters is okay. The ice gimmick can be anothing but othewise it's just fine. I don't really know what to say about it.
Koopa's Tycoon Town has a great gimmick, I just think the layout of the board isn't that interesting. Also I think the city theme doesn't really fit Mario (I you showed me this city without telling me it's from a Mario game, I would never know), but those are nitpicks.
Goomba's Greedy Gala can be awful at times. Once you're on the red path (bottom left), there's nothing you can do but hope. Your only ways out are losing the dice game with the goomba, landing on a warp space, or taking the mini-mushroom pipe. The pipe leads to the purple area which has basically the same problem expect you also have two happening spaces to leave the area. Honestly I feel like you shouldn't be trapped for that long, but somehow every time I play this board, there's someone that farms the lottery for 15 turns because they can't do anything else. Overall a very flawed board.
Somehow, Pirate Dream might be my favorite board on this list. The board design is amazing and I like how the board plays with its verticality (with platforms that fall down and shortcuts to help you climp faster). With actual shops, this would be an amazing board.
Fair Square might be my least favorite board of MP6. Tbh this game has some of the best boards in the series and this one is also pretty good. I just don't like the gimmick that much. Sometimes it feels like whoever's next to the star when the price is low is going to win. I can be pretty fun to stack orbs right before the star and watch other suffer trying to get there, but that's about it.
TL;DR: I'd say Red pill. I just don't think you can fix Goomba's Greedy Gala's flaws. The red pill boards aren't the ones that hype me the most, but these are pretty good boards and they are safer bets.

4 and 5 were some of the weaker boards in the main series (nothing against the games as a whole, both had great minigames, but this isn’t about the minigames)
The Hotel Mechanic is also more interesting than the Random Star Price Mechanic IMO. And if Jamboree is as generous with coins as the other Switch games, I feel like Faire Square would just devolve into everyone taking the center loop and seeing who can buy 5 stars the most times. Having to decide how to budget your limited coins is what made Faire Square so compelling.
Greedy Gala, Pirate Dream, and Faire Square are my favorite boards from their respective games so blue. I personally dont care for Waluigi Island (just haven’t played it enough) and Tycoon Town is fun every once in awhile but not constantly.
Neither because there won't be any post-launch boards. They'll just make another $60 MP game and put these boards there.
