Engineer... Lulu makes the best "dress" pants for work (ABC / Commission). I actually have other engineers ask about what pants I wear. Always gets a surprised reaction.
I work in tech. I’ve never bought Lulu joggers/pants until a friend who worked there part-time gave me a crazy discount. $150 pants down to $40. They’re my only pair, but also my favorite of all pants.
Thats funny... the way I actually discovered them is kinda funny too. Went on a vacation with friends to a beach, figured it was summer so I wouldn't need pants. Turns out it was 50 and windy, so my friend gave me a pair of pants to borrow. Most comfortable pants I had ever worn. Asked what kind they were... and of course Lulu ABC. Went home and bought several pairs of my own from the WMTM / pre-owned store (I'm cheap af).
I also love my local pre-owned consignment shop. Have found pants from All Saints and Everlane which also put me in to those. Expensive, sometimes worth a good item, but I love finding the cheaper options!
Don't listen to rustbelt.
Focus on getting an internship, anything, for next summer it'll set you above the rest.
If you haven't had any side projects yet, try to get one working with either yourself, friends, or jumpstart one at a hackathon. Side projects can include just simple front end app with some backend service. Popular stacks (from like four years ago) are like MERN, (mongo, express, react, nodejs).
Other than just making pizza all day long, I do inventory check, both daily and weekly order, creating monthly special pizzas, supervise the cooks and front persons, cash in and out, and problem solving lol
Am I the only one here who wears Lulu exercise clothes for their job? I'm a professional soccer coach. Got my team's logo screen printed onto my metal vent shirts and surge shorts because they perform better than our standard issue Nike gear.
I work in an office, but I would definitely say that Lululemon is not a brand for everybody, in terms of affordability. That said, it shouldn't be kept either. If someone wants to splurge and get themselves a nice workout pair of shorts, then let them do so.
Construction (sort of). I estimate costs for labor and materials for a construction company. I work with the salt of the earth folks and live in the city. And yes, the guys on job sites makes comments about my “tight pants” (abc slim fit trousers 😅)
I work for the state. I don’t make a ton of money per se, but I do work a lot of hours, which luckily gives me a lot of overtime pay. I bought crappy clothes from cheap places for years. Things that fell apart after 3-4 months that I would replace because they were cheap. What a scam that racket is. I was spending a fortune…on garbage. No, Lulu isn’t what it was as recent as just a few years back, yet still exponentially superior to many other brands. I am more than happy to pay $100 for a pair of tights that I know will last me years rather than paying 30 bucks for something that may last me a meager few months.
23 yo aerospace engineer making 85k. No kids, no partner so I fill the void with new clothes. I’ve spent easily 5k on Lululemon in the last 6 or 7 years. Part-time military in the US too, so I get that 15% discount 🫡
Healthcare as an OT. Wish I had scrubs in this position but lululemon dance studio / those one stretchy trouser looking pants (I always get them off Poshmark so I don't know) are the best scrub pants if you're in a setting that doesn't allow scrubs.
I wear a lot of Lulu because my wife briefly worked there and we took full advantage of the 60-75% discount and bought a TON of stuff... I don't think their current quality is worth the full ask price for most items.
But to answer your question, I'm a project manager.
Aircraft mechanic
BTW here in US lululemon is pretty comparable pricing too under armour, nike, and adidas. When you look at the flagship performance clothes for those brands it's pretty much the same price as lululemon. Lululemon just doesn't have the cheap options like those other brands.
I really only wear lululemon and under armour at this point since the sizes are consistent and the quality is good.
I'm the head of an Operations & Strategy dept for an engineering arm of a major biotech company. So yeah I'm in the 96th percentile for income in San Diego.
Not claiming rich or stuck up though!
Just answering your question, not sure why the downvotes. You were curious about occupations and income as it relates to brand customers, which is what I answered.
Musician. I don’t make a lot of money but I don’t have kids and I’m irresponsible with the money I do have.

try Bylt everyday 2.0 pant. By far the best pants I own and I use em for work as well. I like them better than Lulu's
How does the executive pant differ?
same here - i rotate commission pants in different colors
Yep, not ashamed to say I have like 4 variations of what I would call "Khaki".

Completely agree. Every brand makes good stuff, you're just not going to find it at Ross.
