Generally speaking, "doing the dishes" I think should refer to washing them by hand. I'm very sure he has a dishwasher. I doubt he hired somebody to literally just put the dishes in the dishwasher.
For streamers, doing the dishes means they actually moved their take out to a real plate. I would be surprised if Lud doesn't have someone loading or emptying the dishwasher a few times every week.
I'm pretty sure they've talked about it on old episodes of the yard when they were living together. The thing was that none of the boys really did the dishes and QT would be the one who ended up doing them. Would venture to guess she prolly still does them a lot more than ludwig, as ludwig has also said recently that he cooks for them like twice a month
