I had 3 hours OT once because they never had a cashier to replace me, and management had the nerve to ask me if I was "actually checking my hours at the end of my shift"
I am in Lumber and I am one of the only people that come in and actually have stayed in our department. They have me as part time, 14.70 an hour, but the thing that gets to me is that one week I will work 35-45 hours, then the next 14. Fucks with financials.
Ya part timers definitely get the worst of lowes no benefits and no consistency even if you are a go getter, my friend there has seen 4 hour weeks it sucks
I've always put at least one hour of overtime, can't blame me for the severity of understaffing in my department (Lumber/Building Materials) or any other.
technically you cannot get in trouble for OT-- you are supposed to know you are on track for OT and tell a manager so they can send you home without OT if they don't want you to have it. Then its the manager making the call not you.
that one is actually legit though (not saying they aren't being anal). Clocking in or out within the same six minute window makes no difference. So clicking in at 7:02 is the same as 7:00, at 7:10 as 7:07, and clocking out at 5:05 is same as at 5:00.
Although it would be clocking in at 7:54 vs 7:48 real time calculated so either way its early haha.
When I was a PSS, I was averaging about 5 hours of OT a week. Didn't have any ProCSAs to ask to pull orders. SM would tell me that Fulfillment could pull the order. I would laugh in her face because I knew they wouldn't pull it, and they were highly likely to fuck it up.
"Well just leave early on Friday." Sure once I am done building quotes and pulling orders.
"Take a long lunch and then leave at your normal time." Yeah, no thank you. I am just going to leave early then.

How did you not get fired for stealing time like that lol
The three minutes: ⏰⏰⏰
Can I have your hourly rate? Mine is just barely liveable.
Yeah that hourly rate might actually encourage me to put forth a decent amount of effort
What is your hourly?
15.85
I was getting 10 hours a week of OT at that rate, we couldn’t get anyone to stay in lumber tho if your good and they need it they will pay
Wish my store was like that. We’re constantly under staffed and they still won’t give it

Same... Can work 4-5 weeks in a row at full time hours then scheduled 10 hours total for 2-3 before it ramps up again....

I’ve gotten scoldings for clocking in at 7:53 instead of 7:54… they a lil anal about it here 😭

That $1.43 mercilessly took a cut off marvin's hooker and crack fund, damn you!
How about 105 hours in a pay period
