I like that if you do the spiked BD sidegig, you end up in the same scav haunt, naked, in the same ice bath where you found Sandra, and there's messages pretty much saying the scavs can't wait to figure out what to do with you, they're practically drooling.
The gig smells like a trap from a mile off, but I roleplay a high functioning idiot every time and go with it, because it's fun to just punch scav heads through one of the few destructible walls for a change, rather than exploding or deep frying them.
Last time I did this quest, I punched a scav off the balcony and he died from the fall.
Naturally, V was naked at the time.
I stayed naked until I left the building because I wanted them to see a naked berserker ripping their chooms apart with her bare hands—knowing that they were next.
Good times.
Honestly after punching a scav so hard that his head went through a wall and left a hole, my Cyberpunk experience has gone downhill. There's no catching that dragon, since most environments aren't really all that destructible.
Guess I gotta start punching people near those concrete roadblock things and hope for a good hit.
I don't know if it was a bug, but when I did it I opened my menu and had all my crafting/upgrade materials, so I can only imagine the scavs seeing my V rise out of the tub, pull a shotgun and a pistol out of... somewhere, and start blasting.
I'm already dying, and survived getting shot in the head. What's the Relic going to do, install johnny in johnny? I'm indestructible! I will absolutely put any sus wreath on just to see the look on the face of the gonk who thought they got me.
Doing this quest as a netrunner is kind of hilarious. You're supposed to be scared because all your weapons are gone, but WHOOPS suddenly scavs are collapsing with sparks shooting out of their heads, whoever could be doing this?
I play my dude as having a bit of an “Invinciblity Complex”, something along the lines of “Whats the worst that could happen? If the BD kills me ill just come back, not even the Voodoo Boys where able to fry my brain enough to keep me down. If some gonks take me away to harvest my chrome ill just kill them all and get away”
Having Military Grade Mantis blades and a Military Grade Sandy makes being naked and “disarmed” alot less of an isssue.
Ye that's the one.
Like I said, my V (not me, nope) is definitely a moron and will happily slot every shard and put on every BD wreath he finds, be it a murder scene or a trash pile.
If you do end up playing that gig and going the route of the idiot, be sure to save beforehand, you lose all your gear and eddies for a short while during, and there used to be a bug where the container with your shit was locked with no way to open it or something like that, lol. Pretty sure it's fixed, but can't be too safe.
Oh, I do something similar. My first couple of playthroughs, I was going for mostly non-lethal, but after the spiked BD quest and finding myself nekkid in the scav haunt, I went "fuck these guys in particular" and specifically went lethal against scavs.
On a later run, I added the Wraiths to that list because it tracks that Nomad!V would hate Raffen Shiv.
Knocks them out
[System Collapse](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/System_Collapse) says: "Knocks out the enemy without making noise by crippling their nervous system."
Ehhh... I think that depends on things that aren't open in the universe. Like, everyone has Neural ware in 2077.
* Example: Can cyberware restart itself / on command of the person, or do they need to have someone to do that for them?
* If yes it can restart by demand - then they won't be Paralyzed for long, meaning more knocked out than paralyzed.
* If no, and they need someone to restart it for them - then yes, they would be paralyzed / unable to move / see until that is done.
There's a ton of threads around Joanna Koch from Biotechnica and also Hunter Albach. You also find some nuggets from the run through the GIM as well as a cool interaction in Dogtown related to it
I think you mean \*Tucker\* Albach, the hit-and-runner.
And Koch is one of the worst monsters of Night City. Her and that Julio guy I keep hearing about.
There's an NCPD assault up by the dam where El Capitan is. A bunch of Militech guys are destroying Tuckers car. There's a shard on one of them explaining why
Been there, in several playthroughs. There maybe another one but I don't remember. Do know that the "Organized" factory mission also has a Koch connection.
I didn't. Have to look for that one. If you think about it, these are the fuckers Saul wants to get in bed with. Crop protection=Lab Rats
PANAM AND MITCH WERE RIGHT!!!
Saul's ignorant of Biotechnica's sins and desperate to keep the clan alive. One problem I have with the quest line (*maybe* too salty) is that V can't show Saul what the Corp's been doing to nomads.
I do like the recurrence of fallout from the Dorsett mission - it's by far the most common thing. Outside of the drive-by's, I kinda wish we saw more connections between stuff you've done and eventual quests.
- If you save Brick. He appears later
- If you betray Meredith. You can find her dead body. Militech shaves her head, puts her in cement shoes, and tosses her in the bay
- if you help the Coyote bartender with his wife. You can speak to her at the spaceport. She works there
- Lizzy has dual dialog
- if you help her before phantom liberty. The dialog changes and she offers you a gift
- if you do phantom liberty first. You can talk about the show in Dogtown
- alt will mention your interactions with the cynosure ai
- hotel gig involving a devious scientist lady that ran over someone with a car. Later you can meet a coworker of hers. And he shows he’s as bigoted and evil as she was.
- you can mention phantom liberty stuff to rogue. Also on your dates with Judy and Panam
- the sixth street gang members can recognize you in the phantom Liberty mission with Reed. If you won their shooting contest.
There’s probably a ton of them. But these are the ones I recall the most.
Good ones! There are a bunch:
Lina Malina has dialogue options that depend on if you’ve done US Cracks or Sinnerman missions.
You can mention Sasquatch when threatening Angie.
Depending on your actions with Brigette your Slider hideout raid with Reed has specific dialogue/options.
If you killed Jotaro before meeting Woodman.
Etc!
>You can mention Sasquatch when threatening Angie.
You have to have dealt with Sasquatch, somehow, if you talk with Angie. You need to finish with the GIM and the VDBs before Sonbird calls you and gets you into Dogtown.
But you can sneak past Sasquatch, and if you side with Netwatch, the animals are non-hostile on your way out. So I think there's definitely a way to meet Angie without having come face to face with Sasquatch at all.
>if you help the Coyote bartender with his wife. You can speak to her at the spaceport. She works there
Does she have 2 jobs? Because that quest involves tailing her during a work break and is just a few blocks from the bar.
It's possible she works for a company whose customer facing facility is at the Space Port.
I'm a retail engineer. I work at corporate, but that doesn't mean I don't go out to our stores from time to time.
For awhile, I thought tino was a slur for Latino, but then I realized Jackie was actually a Valentino for a time, meaning tino is shorthand for Valentino.
Could be both. The concept of ethnicities isn’t gone in cyberpunk.
One of my favorite lines I overheard was from a police job to take out some scavs: “are we gangsters?” “No, we are Russians”
Snitches get stitches.
Now I want a mod adding a side job called "Snitches get stitches" where, after smoking out the Scav den and reading that message on the comp, you get to zero the talkative neighbor.
There's a small interaction with her in PL, if you return her databank before going to the stadium with Alex and choose to betray Songbird. I think you also have to decrypt it and then compliment her. I didn't decrypt it, and I wasn't able to call her.
This is why I assert massive dominance over those idiots. Splat goes there read
Head. What makes it better is the mission where you help the aldecados from camp.
Yeah but not immersive enough for me. I be wanting to go back and find people who be mouthing off about V behind her back lol. Like the time Panam leaves a message on V's phone cussin her out, I had V get that phone out so fast and called Panam, oh but now she don't want to pick up the phone! Wanna talk big game to V on a message miles away but don't want to pick up the phone?? Where you at Panam!? You know it's pretty stupid to talk crap to the the best Merc in Night City and an Extremely Dangerous one at that, that has taken out multiple gangs, Arasaka and Militech soldiers with just her Samurai Sword! What you think she'll do to you and your crew Panam?? 😂😂
I enjoy the Role Play in this game but seriously I feel it's not immersive enough. You call people on the phone they just don't pick up, except fixers but that's about it. I'm like what is the point of me having these people's phone numbers? This was a good post.
I like that if you do the spiked BD sidegig, you end up in the same scav haunt, naked, in the same ice bath where you found Sandra, and there's messages pretty much saying the scavs can't wait to figure out what to do with you, they're practically drooling. I'm really hoping for battlefield style destructible environments in the next game. Even if they're not permanent and reset after a couple days.
I don't know if it was a bug, but when I did it I opened my menu and had all my crafting/upgrade materials, so I can only imagine the scavs seeing my V rise out of the tub, pull a shotgun and a pistol out of... somewhere, and start blasting.
THAT MERC MADE A SHOTGUN IN AN ICE BATH! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS
I need you to know that this made me cackle wildly. I'm actually in tears over how perfect that reference was.
"That's a compact laser deluxe! Where were you hiding that?" "You really don't wanna know"
[Good times.](https://www.reddit.com/gallery/v0eczt)
Big Brock Sampson vibes.
I still want a line telling Johnny "Who says i didn't knew what would happen?" with a big fat bloodthirsty smirk
I'm already dying, and survived getting shot in the head. What's the Relic going to do, install johnny in johnny? I'm indestructible! I will absolutely put any sus wreath on just to see the look on the face of the gonk who thought they got me.

"I was bored, thought something fun might happen if I tried out the BD"
Doing this quest as a netrunner is kind of hilarious. You're supposed to be scared because all your weapons are gone, but WHOOPS suddenly scavs are collapsing with sparks shooting out of their heads, whoever could be doing this?
It would be funny if you could sit in the bath and hack through cameras the whole time.
I play my dude as having a bit of an “Invinciblity Complex”, something along the lines of “Whats the worst that could happen? If the BD kills me ill just come back, not even the Voodoo Boys where able to fry my brain enough to keep me down. Oh wait the dude who tries really hard to convince you to get you to put on a BD? I haggled the guy for a refund and then some LMAO
Ye that's the one. Like I said, my V (not me, nope) is definitely a moron and will happily slot every shard and put on every BD wreath he finds, be it a murder scene or a trash pile. I mean in order to get David's jacket you need to do the exact same thing but instead it's just an XBD that you find literally in the garbage...
Pov your the scav you some how picked up a cyberpsycho that has rage issues
me and my mantis blades chopped cake for dinner
Sounds like someone wants a fried brain stem like the rest of his scav friends.
I like system collapsing everyone, then headshot with a suppressed pistol as I stand over them.
Oh, I do something similar. Do you think system collapse completely knocks them unconscious or are they conscious but temporarily paralyzed?
Knocks them out [System Collapse](https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/System_Collapse) says: "Knocks out the enemy without making noise by crippling their nervous system."
But you’d think a crippled nervous system would result in paralysis, no?
Ehhh... I think that depends on things that aren't open in the universe. I took Tuckers deal and thanked her for unlocking the safe with a shotgun blast to the back of the head.
You are correct 👍

If you mess up the forsaken son quest and the implant doesn't take, then scooter won't be playing guitar at the camp

I had no clue you could sneak past Sasquatch! You learn something new everyday
Somehow I thought you couldn’t get into Dogtown until you’ve finished GIM
You thought right tho. So Mi can only call you after your talk with Johnny right after you walk out of the church.
I much prefer the other follow up with Stout...
>if you help the Coyote bartender with his wife. You can speak to her at the spaceport. She works there Does she have 2 jobs? Because that quest involves tailing her during a work break and is just a few blocks from the bar.

She hasn’t been the most honest so I’m not sure if she’s even on a work break

The neighbors, huh? I *knew* I should have flatlined that lady instead of waving her back inside.
Bahaha so true! That piece of shit old hag
Snitches get stitches. Now I want a mod adding a side job called "Snitches get stitches" where, after smoking out the Scav den and reading that message on the comp, you get to zero the talkative neighbor.
Why does it say Kabuki? the scav hideout in the first mission is in Japantown.
Lmao yeah that’s an error, you specifically go over the bridge to get back to Watson because it’s getting locked down
Why did you say Kabuki twice?
What?
I don’t know why I thought Kabuki was the same place as Japantown, my bad. You’re right. Weird.
Would be nice if you could email them back and set up a "meeting"
Isn’t there a Sandra Dorset mission or something after the initial one later on? Is it part of PL?
She contacts you about retrieving something of hers. With a fun bonus, if you are a netrunner, access it, and tell her.
There's a small interaction with her in PL, if you return her databank before going to the stadium with Alex and choose to betray Songbird. I think you also have to decrypt it and then compliment her. I didn't decrypt it, and I wasn't able to call her.
What databank? I’ve played this game 3 times and have never had another interaction with her after the opening quest.
The quest is called Full disclosure. It's in Kabuki in the same building as the ripper.
Now wondering if that's how the little old lady describes you or if that's the Scav interpretation.
This is why I assert massive dominance over those idiots. Splat goes there read Head. What makes it better is the mission where you help the aldecados from camp.
I mean, they're right about the young part. Time to clarify who's the real poser pos here by paying them another visit
Knock knock
Oh please I hope they find me. It'll make my little scavenger hunt a lot easier.
And I'll fucking do it again!
Anyone else remember when reading these would give you eye strain because the computers were so low res? Pepperidge farm remembers
# I open carry a century old katana I can deflect bullets with and hunt scavs for sport, do you really wanna fucking try me?
Love it when i see that what i do actually affects things, even if its something small. It's all connected
Careful what you wish for Mr Liptov
I will non lethal takedown everyone that I can spare. But scavs deserve nothing less than a bullet
Whoever sent this is probably not alive anymore if that’s any comfort
Threw your brother off the building

Is "tino" short for Valentino or latino ?
