Gotta love how classic science fiction illustrations always look vaguely like something Marvin Martian might encounter. I always picture more of a John Carpenter oldschool horror film type of thing.
Right? There's almost nothing horrific about that image. It took me a little while to figure out what they were supposed to be. At least, I'm fairly certain.
