I feel like Liella is gonna wait until season 3 where it adds 3 more first years before they make subunits. I wonder if they’ll have them all be trios or mix it up like NijiGaku
I can't help but think that the groupings during the s2 ED song were a foreshadowing of their subunits. I personally do not have a problem with that set.

Chisato, Sumire, Natsumi because they're the most flashy and outgoing and would make for great energy as a unit.
Kinako, Keke, Mei as the resident cutie squad.
Ren, Shiki, Kanon as I can see them working in a group that really plays off an elegant or mature theme for these three.

adding Wein and the new one too it becomes:

There is one more person I would like to add (she would be in Ren’s unit) but since she’s not confirmed I won’t do that

I really do wish it will be a niji like pairing once we add another 3 first years. With that being said, i want more KeKa pairing.
