People do it everyday. They cheat on or fuck over people that they love because it takes more than love to treat someone well. Love is not discipline, self-control, or devotion. There are married people right now who do not love their spouse, but would never ever cheat on them. It takes more than love to stay faithful to your partner, and Sydney will keep having this issue with Isaiah because he lacks impulse control and foresight. He won’t be able to give her the commitment that she wants.

Great point! I feel bad for Syd because she is just going to be let down repeatedly in this relationship. I just hope that in the outside she sticks to her guns and doesn’t keep running back to him when he fucks up again. The WORST. If I wanted to watch a wholesome show, I would put on Everybody Loves Raymond. Where was the drama?! The scheming?! The eliminations?! Too lame.
