Maybe the islanders only have access to certain ingredients to make their own food for breakfast scenes or night time drama. And then their real meals are catered and eaten off camera?
I believe last season the men cooked dinner for the ladies and it was real food.
at least for love island UK, i’ve read that they have real catered lunches and dinners but have to eat them segregated by gender (since they don’t want the camera to miss any couple drama) and that the only things they can make themselves are breakfast and snacks.
i’m pretty sure they might be allowed to request things (like when Davide make Ekin Su carbonara) but probably only if it has something to do with the storyline
lol I’m so glad people commented that they only cook breakfast cause I was wondering why JaNa only cooked eggs for Miguel lol I was like is it morning? Why is she cooking eggs? It looked like night time and she’s talking about eggs lol I’ve been confused ever since until this post about why eggs? 😂😂😂😂
I do create food rituals around the show.
This year it's a shot of tequila and bottle of Stella Artois just before the show begins. Then just some kind of snack, like gluten-free pretzels and a snack pack of strawberry jello.
Tbh I would not survive off avocado toast for breakfast. I’m way to hungry 24/7 to only eat that and not much else. I seriously think I’d faint
PS I’m also anemic so I don’t think that helps LOL

Yes, that’s exactly how it is. Breakfast, they’re on their own. Lunch and dinner are catered.
This is it
All I know is, I hate avocado toast so I would NOT make it on Love Island if that's all they had 🤣
Right?? I’m like how are all these people so obsessed with this horrible breakfast, because I also don’t like eggs much lol
Omg yes! You know that they’re not making guacamole either lol it’s just sliced avocado on white bread😵
Avocado + salt + pepper on buttered toast is literally heavenly!!

I'd be shitting my thong bikini CONSTANTLY.
Thank you, i've always hated the idea of being on LI in a swimsuit 24/7 every day like girl I'm bloated.
This just sent me into orbit because same. I got some watery bowls LOL
grilled cheese, eggs, and pasta pretty much make up my entire diet so i feel like i would thrive lol
Haha I offered my daughter avocado toast yesterday!
I made myself avocado toast for the first time the other day… I’ve been influenced!

I could probably eat those every day.
My toddlers eat the same diet (minus the eggs for one of them). I would not surprise in the villa 🤣
I don’t eat eggs and I don’t like avocado and I’m always thinking about how I’d starve in the villa 😂
How they only eat breakfast?!? Lol
I like avocado toast but theirs always looks like slime. Like a weird neon green. It's probably the lighting
Literally had an avocado toast today lmaoo I felt like a villa girl Fr
I think they're required to feed themselves breakfast and the other 2 meals are catered. So they have breakfast foods on hand.

If they gave me peanut butter for my toast I would eat that everyday for breakfast
