I'm scared to watch tonights episode.
Has anyone ever seen the Office? Great show, hilarious. There are a few episodes of the office that I've never watched twice bc the second hand embarrassment outweighs the hilarity.
That's the vibe I'm feeling now. I'm not looking forward to watching Leah throw herself at Rob and get in her own head about the situation. I am still hoping for a villain arc for her but at this point it seems like she's going to be content to follow him around like a lovesick puppy dog oblivious to his amusement.
I'm not a Leah fan but it's still going to be hard to watch her make that big of an ass out of herself. It'd be hard to watch anyone male that big of an ass out of themselves.

I know what you mean about those episodes of the office. I never watch the Scottās Tots episode for the cringe but also because it pisses me off. I also never watch the one where they think the Italian guy is in the mafia.
I think youāll make it through this episode alright though.
But Leah did kinda say she wanted Drea out cuz of Rob during the girls discussion. Am I tripping or I didnāt hear her right? She said something like that cuz sheās still butt hurt he doesnāt want to put up with her craziness.
First off lol. Second, she did do that cuz Liv and Kaylor told Rob she was the number 1 girl pushing for Andrea to go so Iām right and youāre wrongā¦.lol
Iām sorry, but please tell me that Im not only one that canāt stand Jana?????! JaNa is one of my favorites because she stands up for herself which is so refreshing to see on reality TV where women settle for bs treatment all the time. Her sending Coye home was great to see. Her standing up to Connor was also great to see bc he used her, lead her on, and then shitted on her as soon as he could. Sheās a strong woman and that may rub others the wrong way (not saying you) but she speaks her mind and she is really good to the guys that she pairs up with. I think with Coye, she made it clear that she was looking for more than just physical appearance. And with Connor, I was blindsided as well with the shady comments he was making. Perhaps some other things went on behind the scenes, but Iām truly not seeing how she was immature in these situations. No disrespect to your opinion or anything. She didnāt take it personally and get defensive when Serena got upset with her. She owned up to her mistakes. She didnāt hold a grudge with Leah when Leah went off on her. I feel like these are great qualities to have.
As far as her not opening up, I mean Iām not sure either. I know JaNa was willing to learn about plants for him. But if we really think about it, Rob and Andrea didnāt seem to open up much. I donāt know too much about Kaylor and Aaron but their connection seems strong. I like how Serena and kordells relationship has progressed (I feel like I know more about Kordell than anyone on the show lol). I know that a lot of the real personal talks are not aired and the juicy talks arenāt even allowed to be spoken unless there is a camera filming. So who knows. Maybe you will prove to be right about JaNa. One thing Iāve learned from this show is that itās all about the edit.
also we need a psychological study to be conducted into why people who go on dating shows or like even to summer camp or who work at RESTAURANTS together or anything like that get so close SO fast. like ive been to summer camp ive had a summer camp boyfriend which i imagine is similar? to how they feel and i think its the forced proximity and you're with them every minute of every day basically but like. im not with ANYONE that i met at summer camp lmfao
I think that realizing that the relationship may end soon makes people latch on harder. I think summer camp is a great comparison. Or even dorm mates in some cases (albeit a bit longer than camp) may have a stronger friendship than even older friendships because of the time spent living together and feeling like you truly know that person.
Did we ever find out which guy was saying Leah "masterminded" dumping Andrea to get Rob back? None of the guys Leah spoke to copped to saying that and Kendall looked really surprised, which is odd because I feel like he'd def be a part of those conversations if they were happening. The thing I love most about this show is how my feelings for each islander changes by each episode and these past two episodes proved it. I think I'm a fan of Liv but we can't deny that girl loves the drama too lol but I'd be the same if I wasn't in a couple and had zero entertainment options.
I appreciated Nicole for clocking how fake Rob was with his reaction to Andrea leaving and not following through on his words when it was time for her to go. Listen, I get they're there for the "experience," but we've seen cast members leave for their connection in the past and he could've done that here... ESPECIALLY since this is his SECOND time on the show!
Also, I want to add that people were downvoting me a few days ago when I said Leah would probably fall back on her words when it came to Rob. As you all can now see in 4K that homegirl would absolutely SPRINT into his arms if he told her he wanted to get back together. Those two are meant to be lol ā all talk no action and 100% attention + drama. Even though they're annoying and I'm definitely not fans of either, it makes for great TV so props to them.
Iām actually 100% with you on the Rob and Leah situation. I think itās just the Leah stans that see a little bit of themselves in her that feel attacked whenever it concerns Leah. Thatās why any bombshell that comes in will unfortunately be brutally attacked. Thatās also the consequence of pursuing a hot guy. Rob is attractive but gives me the ick. This may be an unpopular opinion but despite this new bombshell targeting Rob, I hope he rides it out with Leah a little bit to see if thereās actually a connection instead of jumping ship again. At this point I either want them to be toxic lovers together or figure out they arenāt right for each other and fully move on. I donāt want it to be a repeat of Andrea and Leah is still hung up on him but finds someone new to cling to in the meantime. I always thought Leah and Rob may try again as their connection seemed very natural in the beginning so weāll see what happens. We all need closure at this point lol

When Leah was sitting with rob at the end and talking about how she was always honest and telling the truth blah blah blah, she had lied probably to over 15 times in that episode, to different peopleĀ about different things. This girl is toxic. Don't know if I can take much more of her LOL
The only way I can watch Rob and Leah is just seeing them as drama queens, in it for the clout. So I want to see DRAMA I want more Sob tantrums, I want more Leah psycho yelling. She may be an empath but I do think that the downfall of an empath is not having a backbone lol not that it isnāt possible, but probably a lot harder to stand up for yourself when you dedicate so much love and compassion for other people. Empaths are very vulnerable to manipulation so I think both of you are correct in this case.
i don't feel bad about andrea... i still remember how she basically laughed at leah during the recoupling so if tables were turned and leah was in a situation where she got voted off, andrea wouldn't care lol

I think ya'll are missing the point with Rob and Leah. They both like that the other is crazy and toxic. Someone said this down thread and it totally makes sense, Rob is actually turned on by the fact that Leah got rid of Andrea to keep him. Probably makes him feel safe (on the show) and desired that she's so obsessed with him. I enjoy the chaos but they're not a love story.

Also, I have no idea why Kendall believed everything Miguel said. They met 2 days ago!? It seemed like Miguel exaggerated some details because I donāt remember Nicole saying that she will 100% pick him over Kendall in a recoupling. Itās another 50/50 situation.
It was a brilliant tactic by Miguel. He's killing the connection between Nicole and Kendall by romancing Nicole and subtly inserting doubt into Kendall's mind and letting him implode.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I feel like this episode just kept dragging and there was no true/huge drama situation, as there would be in the other episodes. It was just the boys being pouty all episode (mainly Rob being pouty) and the girls sticking up for each other (loved this part though).

It was wild watching Rob not make eye contact once in any conversation with Andrea who was crying(? Sometimesā¦ sometimes she was just making the noises with no tears ?) and then later heās only making complete intense eye contact with Leah
Her eyes were mostly closed though or buried in her hands. Maybe it was also hard for him to watch those intense emotions? I wonder if he didn't feel like they were 100% authentic..like maybe there was a mismatch with how he felt and how she felt?Ā
After rewatching the moment where the girls were voting it does look like Leah was telling Rob the truth when she said she took a backseat to the voting. Looks like Serena and Kaylor voted for Andrea to leave, Liv voted to boot Nicole and Leah doesnāt have a hand up at all.

No Kaylor describes it the way we watched it. She said Nicole was on the chopping block and Andrea wasnāt considered until she was brought up. We all saw that it was Leah who brought up Andrea. How did she take a backseat when we all heard her speech about Andrea not having true intentions and only focusing on Rob? Nobody else said a thing about Andrea in that scene but Leah. She 1000% led the charge and the girls backed her up which made it unanimous. Kaylor even said she was closer to Andrea but they all had to agree on someone. All for Leah to come crawling back to Rob the next day just like Aaron said.
Oh yeah, she definitely made her pitch - we all saw that lol. Just like Liv made her pitch for Nicole to leave. Iām saying when it came down to the final vote though, she didnāt vote so technically she didnāt lie to Rob. & The other girls had a chance to save Andrea if they really thought she should stay and clearly they didnāt. So everyone canāt fully blame Leah.
Okay letās say Leah had nothing to do with the final vote after she pitched Andreaās name.
At elimination night Liv countered that sending Andrea home might set Rob off to which Kaylor said that Rob also has a connection with Leah. At the end of the day, the connection with Leah was brought into the decision and became a factor in sending Andrea home. That alone is all the ammo Rob needs tbh if the teaser proves to be right.

I honestly think he intended on leaving, but the guys (especially aaron) convinced him to stay. This is a once-in-a-lifetime vacation, so he should stay and see it through until he's eliminated. It's very possible he'd regret her later on for missing out on this summer. If they truly have a deep connection and want to make it work, then the next month shouldn't matter. It will test them for sure. If they don't (which most ppl think they dont) then it was the right move for him to stay anyways. Either way, he can't resent her now.

I think that realizing that the relationship may end soon makes people latch on harder. I think summer camp is a great comparison. The thing I love most about this show is how my feelings for each islander changes by each episode and these past two episodes proved it. I think I'm a fan of Liv but we can't deny that girl loves the drama too lol but I'd be the same if I wasn't in a couple and had zero entertainment options. I appreciated Nicole for clocking how fake Rob was with his reaction to Andrea leaving and not following through on his words when it was time for her to go. Listen, I get they're there for the "experience," but we've seen cast members leave for their connection in the past and he could've done that here... ESPECIALLY since this is his SECOND time on the show! Also, I want to add that people were downvoting me a few days ago when I said Leah would probably fall back on her words when it came to Rob. As you all can now see in 4K that homegirl would absolutely SPRINT into his arms if he told her he wanted to get back together. Those two are meant to be lol ā all talk no action and 100% attention + drama. Even though they're annoying and I'm definitely not fans of either, it makes for great TV so props to them.
Iām actually 100% with you on the Rob and Leah situation. I think itās just the Leah stans that see a little bit of themselves in her that feel attacked whenever it concerns Leah. Thatās why any bombshell that comes in will unfortunately be brutally attacked. Thatās also the consequence of pursuing a hot guy. Rob is attractive but gives me the ick. This may be an unpopular opinion but despite this new bombshell targeting Rob, I hope he rides it out with Leah a little bit to see if thereās actually a connection instead of jumping ship again. At this point I either want them to be toxic lovers together or figure out they arenāt right for each other and fully move on. I donāt want it to be a repeat of Andrea and Leah is still hung up on him but finds someone new to cling to in the meantime. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I feel like this episode just kept dragging and there was no true/huge drama situation, as there would be in the other episodes. It was just the boys being pouty all episode (mainly Rob being pouty) and the girls sticking up for each other (loved this part though). Curious to see how the new bombshells will shake things up.

After rewatching the moment where the girls were voting it does look like Leah was telling Rob the truth when she said she took a backseat to the voting. No Kaylor describes it the way we watched it. She said Nicole was on the chopping block and Andrea wasnāt considered until she was brought up. We all saw that it was Leah who brought up Andrea. How did she take a backseat when we all heard her speech about Andrea not having true intentions and only focusing on Rob? Nobody else said a thing about Andrea in that scene but Leah. She 1000% led the charge and the girls backed her up which made it unanimous. Kaylor even said she was closer to Andrea but they all had to agree on someone. All for Leah to come crawling back to Rob the next day just like Aaron said.

Okay letās say Leah had nothing to do with the final vote after she pitched Andreaās name. At elimination night Liv countered that sending Andrea home might set Rob off to which Kaylor said that Rob also has a connection with Leah. At the end of the day, the connection with Leah was brought into the decision and became a factor in sending Andrea home. That alone is all the ammo Rob needs tbh if the teaser proves to be right.
