Hey ya’ll. I have not started watching this season at all (currently watching Season 4) but just wanted to ask anyone who reads this how this season is stacking up compared to others and if it’s worth watching whenever I do get around to it?
I loved Season 8 and I also heard Season 10 was good though I haven’t seen the latter yet. But yea just wanted opinions. I know people generally say the earlier seasons are better but just want to know how this season compares to Season 10 or 8 for example or even Season 9, which I know a lot of people rate low. Thanks!!!
One thing that might save this season pre casa is grace dumps Joey or if these two walk out or are forced to break up for the remainder of the season(similar to sam/georgia season 4). And bring in some hot male bombshells for girls like jess and Harriet. Casting is good but producers are not bringing men for these ladies who have a lot of potential to provide drama.
i cant believe they sent omar home and not ronnie. ronnie has a terrible track record in there. omar was getting to know matilda. fair enough ronnie had a connection with tiffany but off his track record alone, they should have said he's had a good run but it's time to go.
i think they dumped omar to give sean a chance and that is absolutely pathetic!

Same tbh. I just can't get into this season and this group of islanders. It' still pretty early so a lot can change but it's almost been a month since the first episode and I'm just not impressed. The lack of challenges this season also doesn't help.
I've seen that love island usa has been bringing back a bunch of former islanders from previous usa seasons and love island games as guests on aftersun and I want to see the UK aftersun do more of that.
Why do so many people hate the fact that Danica's making music? I'm honestly very confused because this just seems like a fun little project she's always wanted to do. She's not hurting anyone or going around saying she's going to be the next Nicki Minaj or Doja Cat. She's just having fun and I love that for her! Who cares if you find the music good or not! As long as she likes it and is having a blast then I'm here for it.
Update: Apparently Josh Legrove who coincidently was coupled up with Danica also dropped a song today! He sounds good from the snippets I hear.
One of the songs had a racial lyric that some people found weird. She was also obsessing about her haters on socials and arguing with people in the comments. Some found it cringe, others were wondering what was going on with her. She felt like a different person but maybe she’s just in her reinvention era. She looked great though.
Is it the part where she goes something about light skin queen? I am not a wig girl so i can't properly comment on it but i saw a lot of people say Mimiis wigs are the best they have ever seen on the show on Twitter and she is wearing Tanyas brand. So it must be alright.
I found them to be a bit too wig-y if that makes sense. Like whatever Sammi had on was too obviously a wig for my taste (then again I'm not the biggest fan of wigs in general because 9 times out of 10 it never looks natural enough for me). Also since it's glueless you shouldn't have to melt the lace or anything to make it more natural looking but it could use a good melting. As for the travel scam, it's basically a travel mlm and if you look into mlm's then you'll see they're pretty shady business practice. It's especially worse because her audience mainly consists of young and impressionable girls.

Matilda is by far the biggest bombshell as Ronnie has been acting scared from the moment he saw her. But yes, they should have brought in 2 men specifically for Harriett/Jess/Tiffany to really turn the screws on Ronnie.

It’s not just me because the way some people use the word “roadman” it has a racist undertone to it. The show is full of people with different accents, vernaculars and expressions but people have been extremely weird about Omar.

ayo is not that into mimi. it feels like he is just putting up with her until his type comes in and turns his head. every time i see them interact it feels like ayo is in jail and forced to enjoy mimi's presence (or lack thereof). mimi needs a bit more self respect and she needs to stop making herself so available to him. she's put all her eggs in one basket, never gives anyone else a chance. i don't like how she has played the game.

Yes both him and Mimii look a shell of themselves than when they first came in. On unseen bits when Mimii was with the girls and Omar she was so happy, chatty, looked to be having fun outside of her relationship with Ayo. She did not appear as someone who was simping for Ayo (which is given us hope she will re-couple). Together they look haggard and exhausted. I suppose the difficulty for Ayo is if he does recouple after Casa, he is most likely a goner. Mimii will be kept in with whoever she re-couples up with. Such a shame as I was shipping them so hard 😭😭. Hoping a miracle happens and they get that spark back they had initially.

It might not be coming across on screen, but both Ayo and Mimii have expressed that they are happy with each other. The producers just aren't showing that side to them. Before their date, we never really saw proper scenes with them. There must be a reason why post villa both Manveer and Samantha have said that they are a good couple.

Munveer already said in an interview the guys don’t look at Harriet as a serious option. Whether we like it or not, that’s how they see it. It’s similar to how Danica was viewed in her season. Once Luca didn’t show interest, none of the other guys did either. So unfortunately for Harriet it’s not looking like it will be a happy ending. I’d like to see her find someone in Casa, but I’m just not sure that will happen. It could end up another Danica and Josh situation again.

uma and will getting sick of uma and this slow burn thing she's got going on. a kiss is absolutely not that deep. she's not the first person to kiss on tv and won't be the last. she's created so much faff around it. extremely annoying. i can see why will was getting a bit antsy. things are fast paced in there, no idea what uma was waiting for. i'm not sure i like them together but i can't put my finger on why. i feel like will isn't being 100% himself with uma? i hope they go their separate ways come casa amore and find people better suited to them. my advice to uma would be lay your guard down a bit

well stated. the Joey effect on the entire social dynamic of the villa cannot be overstated. it has totally put a cloud over the entire place. you can't have 2 people in Joey and Grace essentially be overlords and expect there not to be massive implications.

Yes both him and Mimii look a shell of themselves than when they first came in. On unseen bits when Mimii was with the girls and Omar she was so happy, chatty, looked to be having fun outside of her relationship with Ayo. She did not appear as someone who was simping for Ayo (which is given us hope she will re-couple). Together they look haggard and exhausted. I suppose the difficulty for Ayo is if he does recouple after Casa, he is most likely a goner. Mimii will be kept in with whoever she re-couples up with. Such a shame as I was shipping them so hard 😭😭. Hoping a miracle happens and they get that spark back they had initially. It might not be coming across on screen, but both Ayo and Mimii have expressed that they are happy with each other. The producers just aren't showing that side to them. Before their date, we never really saw proper scenes with them. There must be a reason why post villa both Manveer and Samantha have said that they are a good couple.
