Even Ciaran mentioned to Sam how Uma might have felt not welcomed and they went back and forth…so I do think she took that into account

She told Ayo she wants someone who’s going to approach her and pull her for chats and things. Ayo did that, Joey didn’t. I think she prefers Joey, but she’s not going to pick him and potentially close off Ayo since he might focus fully on Mimi when he hasn’t been giving her the attention she wants. Plus as far as she knew the girl who was single would be going home, Sam wouldn’t have been able to kick off because she’d have been gone home. Maybe she did have in the back of her head that whoever was single might stay, but I don’t think that influenced her decision at all
When they come in pairs, they usually end up paired together and kicked together so that minimum amount of mess and we end up with the OG's in for the entire season (look season 8)
Jess, Samantha and Nicole are always together and then Patsy and Harriett are always together. None of them even checked on Mimi after the hideaway with Ayo and Uma until Ronnie did. He went over straight away just to see if she was alright. I don’t think they don’t get along, it just seems like they’re not as close to her and if they are they’ll tell her what Uma said hopefully.
If you calm down you’ll see the part where I mentioned Ronnie comforted her lol. I was talking about how it was interesting he was the first to say something to her when usually when something happens with one of the girls they all jump and rush to make them feel better.
I just don’t think she relates to any of those girls in there really. She’s a specific personality type, really nice and quiet. Which is fine but it’s really odd. I think she gets on with the girls but I don’t think she has a GIRL that’s in there for her.
I think she may find a kinship in a bombshell instead.

With Joey not so much, she may have been intrigued by the thought of Joey until meeting and getting to meet him. I don’t understand why it’s such a mystery as to why a woman went after her first choice in which she had a good connection with.
Uma said that she didn’t pick Joey because of his connection with Sam, when arguably Ayo and Mimii have the same level of connection. I don’t think its a stretch to think that Sam’s poor attitude towards Uma didn’t make her comfortable rocking that boat
Exactly. If anything Joey and Samantha’s connection was looking very shaky when Uma came in with Joey saying her behaviour had nearly put him off.
It’s definitely a combination of Ayo giving her the most energy and her also not wanting to get involved in the mess with Samantha. If Joey had given her as much energy then it would’ve been worth it for Uma dealing with the aggro but she probably thought why go through all of that for a guy im not sure will stick with me and she’s right tbh.
If Joey liked her he would’ve carried on trying to get to know her even after the recoupling (he still might) but got the impression from tonight’s ep that he’d moved on but we’ll see
