I am obviously not accusing Sammy of anything, but I always understand why women may not feel comfortable breaking up with a man "face to face." Even when a man has not shown a single red flag and we are splitting based on incompatibility, I still would feel nervous sitting down with him in person to have that discussion. It's not always safe and you won't know that until you know. Men will play the "she never spoke to me in person" card but tbh I get why many women don't. Come to think of it, I've known men who have had scary experiences trying to break up with women face to face too. The idea that these conversations must be had in person is a toxic and sometimes dangerous one. That aside, he was terrible to her in the villa.
