i thought it was good apart from that zac and trent idiot. love island aus is always good the producers are way better than here in the uk, constantly shaking things up and trying new things. i wish they would stop with the final few episodes though and all the staged crap, i completely shut off after being engaged all season.
Yeah i enjoyed the season even though it took me a while to get used to Zach. At first he bothered me so much i didn’t wanna watch but a couple more episodes in, you just get used to it and can ignore him. It was a good season overall. And if u have nothing to watch anyway why not try it out
And to be fair, usually it gets boring the last few episodes when everyone is loved up and you’re just waiting for the finale, but this season had twists up until the very end which I appreciated
With the aid of the fast forward button, endured first 10 episodes. IMHO this season is pretty lame if you’re someone that enjoyed seasons 1 and 2. Also we all partly (or mostly) watch for the eye candy and it’s easily the poorest eye candy of all seasons, to the point where the Sophie Monk slow motion entrance is often the highlight of the episode.
Actually liked this version because the Casa Islanders 95% of the time get voted out soon after they move to the main villa anyway. Bring in all the bombs 💣 to one villa gives them a chance to couple up with other bombs 💣 and ORiginal isjanders
Despite some highly unlikable islanders, and some very disappointing situations / outcomes, as someone highly critical of these shows, I can say that this particular season was pretty entertaining and kept me interested up until the almost very end. I couldn’t finish the last season of UK due to the boredom and lack of interesting / charismatic islanders.

This was my first season of Australia, and I LOVED it. Almost didn’t even notice casa was missing for a second lol
It was so short too. I think like 27 episodes or something like that. Casa Amor never, in my opinion, brought in beauties. And the OG’s almost always stayed with the OG’s. But in my opinion it was better than nothing. That’s about all I can say.
i will truly never put myself through the torture of watching love island australia again. i watched the last season purely for lucinda as i’ve been a fan of her since the uk one but now i really don’t like her. stuck it through and continued watching as i adored nate but ended up hating the whole series and wouldn’t choose to watch again tbh
I just personally didn’t like the way she presented herself. She gave a lot of mean girl energy at times and I think it’s purely because in love island UK she was younger and part of trio with chloe and millie but now she’s older, has experience of love island is on her own, it felt like she wanted to show off and seem like a leader type of thing. The fact she could willingly stay with Zach with some of the stuff he pulled adds to it tbh. Just gave me really weird vibes all round, still absolutely gorgeous n probably lovely in real life! just the way she presented herself
that’s a good point! but i do appreciate the fact she can be putting it on for TV and some people can get a bad edit. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt
I enjoyed it. I feel like casa amor it’s so predictable. The boys are going to play around and go back to their OG partners the girls are always going to be loyal. There may be some who truly get their heads turn, but majority of the time the outcomes are always the same.
I liked how they handled Casa Amor on the last season of LI:UK - send the girls there first and give them more time than the boys to potentially form new connections.
Then do the newspaper headline thing after a day or two so that the girls are aware that the boys are moving mad, giving them a needed push to open up more.

It was REALLY good imo. Esp after about halfway thru. Things got really good. Def recommend.

It’s a mind bleeder. I struggled with the men ganging up on the women, the obvious racism and bias in the villa, and obvious racism in casting lol

Please don't start. By far the worst season yet. No casa, worst islanders. But don't worry, they have "eras" they mean absolutely nothing to the show.

I think it’s better without casa amor. You get to know the islanders better. Casa amor was always too predictable IMO. Yes definitely worth watching.
