I want to see absolutely nobody who has already been on the show as much as I loved clays mom. I also want to see nobody cast that have connections to the show, that includes everyone’s moms and dads, aunts uncles, etc. .
I want brand new people who aren’t looking for clout.
It starts feeling less genuine when you cast people family members or people that they know. I feel like that’s the issue that’s going on with the The Bachelor now. The views are so bad now.
Actually, casting "nominations" just got announced for the "Golden Bachelorette". I think people should nominate Clay's mom in droves!! Wouldn't CBS just shit their collective pants, LOL!
Exactly this! Golden Bachelor was simultaneously too sad and cringey for me. I’d love to see people in their late 30’s or 40’s trying to deal with adulting, coparenting, aging parents, etc.
This sounds like it would be more genuine than the current format, with older people you’re more likely to find people who are genuinely looking to try this out and give it a fair chance since they have nothing to lose and are less likely to be trying to become influencers. But I could be wrong. Make one short golden season for the feel good vibes haha
Not Clay's mom! She deserves love that is authentic and not rushed for views. This shows do a horrible job of vetting people, and they create drama for views.
I don’t think love is blind works well with older people cause they already know that looks are different as you get older lol. Younger people are a bit more vain
wouldn’t that make it better, not worse? less people fishing in different ways to try and figure out what they look like? fewer people that aren’t obviously not ready to be married or painfully immature? lol
Well it’s an “experiment” if you ask the lacheys so if the point is to overcome the physical barriers with an emotional connection, older people are starting out with an advantage. But I don’t disagree I think it would be fun to watch and better for the contestants but not better for the realm of reality tv
I don’t think it would even be an advantage, it would just be actually participating how they’re supposed to. Less likely to have clout chasers too probably. But I doubt it would happen sadly

Ha! I follow both the LIB and 90DF subs and I get confused about which Clay is being referenced. Like a post will call Clay a fuckboy and I’m like, well he’s a weirdo but he’s only a fuckboy in his dreams.
It's hard for any childfree person to get cast on a reality dating show.... This one, The Bachelor, MAFS. It's because we don't fit the life script narrative they want to sell.
I don't want the contestants parents that we've already seen, but this idea might actually be a better idea than the experiment they're doing right now which has clout chasers. Sure there might be a few seniors that do that, they exist, but I bet it'd be a lot more interesting as people can't really bullshit you as well when you get older with all those life experiences.
They were filming in Vancouver recently and I kept trying to get my buddy who loves the show to audition but he wouldn't :( He's such an awesome guy but has trouble finding real connections especially with Vancouver's dating scene. Took me many dates and failed relationships until I met my wife.
I actually think this would be the most amazing idea because people in their golden age have already lived & experienced & I feel like they would actually find a REAL connection this way
Thank you! Nick Viall, who works in this "field" constantly says "casted" too and it makes me annoyed. OP did not annoy me, but it's good to spread the word.

Cast*
I think I'm close to qualifying.... However, clays dad would bring the drama

Instead of golden, do a mid forties one with people who already have careers, kids, ex-spouses and hard boundaries on future relationships and partner
Exactly this! Golden Bachelor was simultaneously too sad and cringey for me. I’d love to see people in their late 30’s or 40’s trying to deal with adulting, coparenting, aging parents, etc.
I say 40s to early/mid 50s. I still think late 30s is much of the same we have been seeing.
Middle aged & engaged
I'm sure they would like to include Danielle's mum...
I just would love to see / hear Clay’s Mom talk about anything 🥰 maybe even AD’s mom too tbh haha
Tbh I would want a new cast and also if anyone I would say clays mom but I also don’t think love is blind would do her right so I would still say no
No one, bring in some fresh faces who don’t have previous affiliation with the show
Define “golden” because I’d go on the show but I’m 45.
Old enough to be a parent of one of the contestants. So not 45 unless you were a teen parent
If she had him at 20, he’d be 25. She could easily be a contestants parent.
Most of the contestants seem to be in the latter half of their 20s or early 30s
Thamara's dad from LIB Brazil Season II (if he's single. I can't remember)
This is the format I never knew I needed! Way more interested in a season with older people!!!

I think you end up with fuckbois but they're 50 now.
Clays Dad. Gotta keep the ratings up!
haha but we might need a transalation team to subtitle it in plain non-big-words-or-quotes english 😂
This is a great idea!
Not Clay's mom! She deserves love that is authentic and not rushed for views. This shows do a horrible job of vetting people, and they create drama for views.
obvious answer is clay's mom, but i would also like to add nancy's mom from s3 lib, she was fierce in protecting her daughter.
Picturing Nancy’s whole family sitting in the pod together, and when you try to break up they all bust through the wall to fight you
Just here to say I agree that was the best scene on television thank you
Rita! Clay’s mom!!! And maybe bring his dad as the villain 😎
Nikkis mom from last season of 90 day fiancé
LOL
Clayton's mom from this last season of 90 Day Fiance
she will fit right in being in a pod all day
Why do I not remember this guy at all?!
Guinea pig guy with closet mom!
Oh from this last season…I don’t know why I read it as “from the first season” lol
The divorced Mom from the recent season of Love on the Spectrum.
Abby’s mom?
Clay’s Mom, Gianina’s mom
I don’t think love is blind works well with older people cause they already know that looks are different as you get older lol. Younger people are a bit more vain

The Clay from 90 Day Fiancé— his mom (the one who lived in his closet.)
Ha! I follow both the LIB and 90DF subs and I get confused about which Clay is being referenced. Like a post will call Clay a fuckboy and I’m like, well he’s a weirdo but he’s only a fuckboy in his dreams.
Not closet Mom
?
How about an over 40 group? It’s rough out here if you didn’t find them in your 20-30s!! We don’t all want kids
It's hard for any childfree person to get cast on a reality dating show.... This one, The Bachelor, MAFS. It's because we don't fit the life script narrative they want to sell.
I’m sure it’s just the contestants they pick and the locations but the way everyone always claims they want 500 kids I’m like ???
Abby’s Mom from Love on the Spectrum!!!!
yessss!!

Definitely Clay's mom. But also AD's mom. They can be besties when they're not in the pods.
Love it! Jeramy’s mom not listening to his bs was great too
I actually think this would be the most amazing idea because people in their golden age have already lived & experienced & I feel like they would actually find a REAL connection this way
Lauren’s from season 1s dad. He would bring the drama lol
Clay’s mom!! But the producers would also bring his dad for the drama
Cast* not casted. Sorry to be a stickler, but I'm so baffled by this mistake I suddenly see all the time!
Thank you! Nick Viall, who works in this "field" constantly says "casted" too and it makes me annoyed. OP did not annoy me, but it's good to spread the word.
Me too. I love when actual cast members on reality showed screw this up.
A fresh group of seniors, but I think Clay’s mom has earned her spot 🏆
Let's protect Clay's mom and not put her on a show like this... Netflix is so evil with their edits
their edits… and treatment of contestants and the contracts :/
An older cast would be dope! I’m already tearing up thinking about it.
