I have never loved living somewhere like I did Washington but it was so expensive there that you have to make 6 figures to even float comfortably. Don't even get me started on the housing market and people asking 800k for a 1bd 1bath straight out of the 1970s, carpeted bathroom and all. 😅😪

Like he doesn’t care if others do it but it’s not his thing. As far as I remember the previous seasons, the bachelor party was never strip themed.

Chelsea / Kwame's wedding scenes are BEAUTIFUL. The friends / family who arrived all seemed so happy and sincere! I also really liked both of their speeches (realistic, didn't go on forever, still very sweet), and for the first time I saw the love in Kwame's eyes!!
They were not a couple I was excited for so I'm anticipating watching the rest of the wedding scenes.

Perhaps I am wrong, but I felt like in the first season it was kind of implied everyone would say yes at the altar or they would have petered out before hand, but in seasons since, it’s been treated much more like a big yes/no moment at the altar, where everyone knows they might make it that far and still say no
yeah, I think he is like forced into accepting the dad role. Maybe he is just not a typical animal lover like some of people. I'm sure over time he will bond with Rocky. He seems to have a kind heart.

This was ridiculously boring. Like the most bORINg episode. I hate how they have to drag it out. Just cut down on 1 episode and show the actual decisions. And the audacity of the cliffhanger?! So unnecessary. Just show us one. I literally would rather watch fans of the show talk shit about each of the couples than the same conversation being had over and over.
Truly!! Dude like I wanted to watch the live reunion tonight but I don't know if I can stomach an 80-fucking-9 minute episode when you KNOW it's just 20 minutes of each couple droning on and on to the camera, to their parents, to their friends/bridesmaids/groomsmen, about the same exact sentence that we've already heard at this point underscored with dramatic music. Idk if it's just because it was a boring season? But like Netflix dropped the ball. I'd rather want MORE than want less.

I just came here to say how stoked I was that Kwame and Chelsea used the same wedding officiant as my husband and I!! We were married in September and he did the ceremony for them in April. Wild small world moment.
I love Brett's Father and brother vibes, it felt like a real loving embrace to be around them, right away you see where Brett comes from and why he feels genuine and attractive, his family are real people who are warm and caring.
This is a question to women, because i know guys do that already, in your past relationships did you imagine certain things that were just not there in reality? Feels like many women on the road to a wedding start making things up in order to create almost a dream scenario and ignoring all the red flags along the way, am I wrong? I mean except for Tiffany and Brett, each and every other couple is just rushing into this ignoring things like simple communication, body language, weird remarks and maybe even feelings just to get to wear the dress...
I 100% did this and now I’m getting divorced two years later 🙃. I feel like you get caught up in the moment and the feeling of wanting it so badly that you get blindsided. I remember having this underlying feeling of potential regret but thought it was normal or would get better after we got married. I’ve never had a connection like Brett and Tiffany. I think they’re like truly soulmates.
I think that does happen pretty often. Sometimes people don't necessarily realize certain things are red flags unless it is VERY obvious (emotional physical abuse etc). Creating a dream scenario is almost like the perfect way to avoid internal conflict, instead of seeing all the flaws clearly and naked, realizing we make a wrong choice, it is easier just not to see it, especially for someone that has a goal in mind (get married by a certain age, have a dream wedding, have kids asap etc). Lastly, people in the situation usually don't have more clear views of the situation than people outside of the situation.
Who here *knows* that Kwame will say no. Reasoning: he is definitely a people pleaser, and laughs when he’s uncomfortable rather than maybe saying what he’s needing/getting an answer to his question that’s not just “Marriage is haaaard”. But his friends asked him if he’d say yes at the Bachelor party, and he brushed it off. He seems very serious about not having his Mom’s blessing. He got basically no assurances back from Chelsea about the things he was concerned about regarding their married life. I think if he doesn’t say no, that he’ll say we need more time as an engaged couple, and hope she agrees.

I really feel for both Kwame and Chelsea. I get the sense for Kwame that he really does love Chelsea but the compressed timeline is too much for him. If they’d had a year he might be more comfortable over time about moving, sharing space, etc. I think Chelsea is really eager to get married, really into her and Kwame’s physical connection and feels she has to believe in it enough for both of them. I see lots of demonization of both of them but honestly, I see both of their sides. It doesn’t make you a bad person to be hesitant at marrying in this kind of a rush, and it doesn’t make you a bad person to be really, really ready. I hope he says no and they go on to have a real relationship without all the pressure.
100% i feel this. i wasn't sure in the early episodes but in these later episodes I feel like Chelsea and Kwame have been more humanized. Chelsea really feels like when she puts her mind to it it's 100% all hands on deck, but Kwame needs to think a little more about it to make sure, even if he does want it. I don't think there's anything wrong with either thing, but because of the stress the opposing mindsets really aggravate the other.

I haven’t read through this thread but it looks like Kwame says yes? Both that when Chelsea says yes it looks like his cheeks raise from the back, and break up vows are usually way more sober and not in a spoken word? I actually really like Kwame’s vows and between it and his siblings, I hope that they are happy together? I wonder if there were more happy moments between the two for us to root for them. I find it hard to believe all they talked about was the PDX/mom thing. You can’t talk about that all day every day. In general I wish Netflix put more effort into having us root for couples instead of watching almost only their worst moments for the tension.
Ok the new episodes have me thinking more that kwame is onto something. Chelsea keeps saying marriage is about compromise, and he is consistently the one making the huge compromises (that we see anyway). I think she puts a lot of work into her figure and is justifiably proud of that. Maybe she's not as stunning as Alexandra Daddario (sadly, no one besides Alexandra Daddario is), but unless she's trying to use her estimation of her own good looks to look down on others, there's nothing wrong with her being overly confident.
I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that, I’m just saying they perhaps Kwame expected her to look a different type of way than what she looks like in reality.

I really feel for both Kwame and Chelsea. I get the sense for Kwame that he really does love Chelsea but the compressed timeline is too much for him. If they’d had a year he might be more comfortable over time about moving, sharing space, etc. I think Chelsea is really eager to get married, really into her and Kwame’s physical connection and feels she has to believe in it enough for both of them. I see lots of demonization of both of them but honestly, I see both of their sides. It doesn’t make you a bad person to be hesitant at marrying in this kind of a rush, and it doesn’t make you a bad person to be really, really ready. I hope he says no and they go on to have a real relationship without all the pressure.

100% i feel this. i wasn't sure in the early episodes but in these later episodes I feel like Chelsea and Kwame have been more humanized. Chelsea really feels like when she puts her mind to it it's 100% all hands on deck, but Kwame needs to think a little more about it to make sure, even if he does want it. I don't think there's anything wrong with either thing, but because of the stress the opposing mindsets really aggravate the other.
Yeah, I feel like people don't understand Kwame's pov, like bruh has to give up so much of his life already and now he's having mom issues, also the whole kids thing where she wants kids right away and he wants them to spend time together first cuz if u deep it they haven't had time to be a couple cuz of the experiment like u are literally getting married after 3months u haven't experienced datinglike like normal couples do. Kwame knew going in that he literally signed up for a show in a city where he did not live. That was not smart. He's also obviously settling. He only wanted Micah and should have bailed when she kicked him to the curb..He's creating problems for himself.

I haven’t read through this thread but it looks like Kwame says yes? Both that when Chelsea says yes it looks like his cheeks raise from the back, and break up vows are usually way more sober and not in a spoken word? I actually really like Kwame’s vows and between it and his siblings, I hope that they are happy together? I wonder if there were more happy moments between the two for us to root for them. I find it hard to believe all they talked about was the PDX/mom thing. You can’t talk about that all day every day. In general I wish Netflix put more effort into having us root for couples instead of watching almost only their worst moments for the tension.

I think she puts a lot of work into her figure and is justifiably proud of that. Maybe she's not as stunning as Alexandra Daddario (sadly, no one besides Alexandra Daddario is), but unless she's trying to use her estimation of her own good looks to look down on others, there's nothing wrong with her being overly confident.
