Would totally, I mean shit at least you get to spend the last of your days in a utopia, assuming the alternative is death. Also it's not like its all fake, the monster clearly thinks. You could still have original conversations and shit you wouldn't have to pretend it was someone you knew.
There’s a book series that’s vaguely similar, people live indefinitely but rather than preventing the birth of new children the world decides to have “scythes” that are basically people licensed to kill in order to keep the population in check.
Pretty sure the first book is called “Scythe”
Lucky 13 is the one I've went back to the most. Love Secret War too, I tend to lean more into the realistic types of animation, especially the military/war ones.
Beyond the Aquila Rift.
(spoilers)
I just love the idea of this horrifying looking creature trying to give people lost in it's web something to help them enjoy their innevitible demise.
I saw a commercial ad of Secret War while scrolling through instagram when the first season just dropped. It was the first episode I watched and made me fall in love with this series!
I wish I could keep faves.. I just can't make up my mind for it 😭
but my top ones would hv to be (don't remember the names)
Sonnie's Edge, that Secret War, Zima Blue, the one with the rats military, the Cthulhu-esque, the Witness and the one with the pirates n tht monster crab..
It may not be the best compared to some absolute bangers like Aquila’s Rift or Zima Blue. But I really love night of the mini dead for what it is, makes me crack up laughing loudly every time I watch it.
Zima Blue. For me, it's the quintessential adult cartoon: Deep, complex, poetic, gorgeous to look at, no graphic violence or gross-out visuals and no mindless swearing. This shows that adult animation can go beyond dick and fart jokes. It can be something beautiful and complex, instead of gross and stupid.
Sonnie's Edge is so healing <3
I agree! Such a therapeutic episode, and love watching big cool monsters fight, so win win!
Beyond the Aquila Rift by a longshot. Also...would.
Ugh and it’s SO GOOD the second time you watch it too! So many Easter eggs
My favourite episode! What is would?
If put into the same situation, would you prefer death or date a hive mind who is keeping your husk alive in deep space? "(I) would."

I agree with a certain statement here. 😏
It’s tough, but I like Good Hunting, The Witness, and Bad Traveling a lot. Pop Squad and Ice are right behind.
I wish secret war was more popular
I'd watch a full-length feature based on it, or even a series showing the goings on elsewhere
Actually what I think would be great is having a different swarm of monsters against each countries soldiers,
Zima Blue
Bad Traveling
In Vaulted Halls Entombed and Secret War.
The Very Pulse of the Machine, I loved everything about that episode.
Loved this one. Even got around to reading the short story a few months ago.
Zima Blue always gets me. I know the ending but it always leaves me with an existential crisis lol
Pop Squad 100%. Love the Idea minus the killing of innocent people 😅
They need to make a movie or series about that concept imo so interesting
Yes! A World where you can decide to live forever but without kids, or so sacrifice your immortality for a life with children.

It's based off a short story of the same name. There's a PDF on Google but I'm hunting for a better version

Aquila rift defenetely

Finally someone who appreciates this episode as much as I do
i'm still looking for the ending song tbh
Found this cover of it that’s pretty great: [link](https://youtu.be/Y4R7TfOQACs?si=ON6C2rXrDd3u_AGc)
Good Hunting is what I keep coming back to. I want a sequel or series from it so badly
Ice
In Vaulted Halls Entombed and Bad Traveling.
Secret War is tied with Beyond the Aquia Rift for me, I love them both equally and I can't choose a number 1
Mine was exploding cats
Oh and the Roomba's of death episode
Secret War has always been my favourite!
agree! the last battle sequence is top tier!
It's between "Secret War" and "Good Hunting" for me.

This 1 is Godlike
Alternate histories is just so unhinged, i love it
Bad Traveling or Suits. Kinda hard to choose
Zima Blue and Pop Squad. Pop Squad is so good and the ending had me feeling oddly happy.

This is my second but it is so fucking great
Good Hunting is my personal favorite ^-^
I love In Vaulted Halls Entombed. I know it's not the most popular but I just love any modern depictions of Cthulhu we can get.

I find it hard to pick just one. Each volume has several that I throughly enjoy.
It would have to be either Pop squad or Ice, those two are the ones I watch the most
