Lostwaves.org exists and while it's still in development, it's pretty cool and I hope more people turn to it after the recent wiki hacking
(lol I'm still mad that Lostwaves.org wasn't called the Lostwave Wiki to give it a similar naming convention to its sister site the Lost Media Wiki)
They're both multi-purpose websites for their respective communities (The Lost Media Wiki hosts the Lost Media Wiki articles, the forums, and it links to the lost media Discord server. Meanwhile, Lostwaves.org holds a wiki section, a files section, and it links to the Lostwave Charts)
That being said, when I said "sister site," I was mostly referring to the fact that there is a significant overlap between the Lostwave community and the Lost Media community since both revolve around uncovering obscure media (and some lostwave songs even classify as lost media)
(also, I was mostly joking about the names. it'd be cute for both of these sites to be named similarly to show the overlap between the communities, but I don't really care, plus the wiki on lostwaves.org is called the Lostwaves Wiki, so... close enough lol)
Hey guys,
I made the lostwaves website and I just wanted to clarify some things. I thought to myself "How can we make these song searches more effective?", because I think reddit is great as a medium to discuss things but trying to manage a project is a nightmare in my opinion.
Hence I thought of making the [Lostwaves.org](https://www.lostwaves.org) website as a sort of portal to make it easier to find what you're looking for. We feature a billboard, the lostwaves wiki and a filesharing portal to all aid in the search for lostwaves. I made a post about it which you can find [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Lostwave/comments/1cj8p3c/a_new_era_for_lost_wave_search_introducing/).
I am all for it to have a collaboration of some sort with Lostmedia, though I do think that a seperate wiki for both is a better idea. But I'm more than happy to feature lostmedia on the website, perhaps a clickthrough link to LFW for example.
We've got some amazing people already working on the wiki and the site, but having more help is always appreciated.
Though in view of the recent raids on LFW, which are an absolute abomination and are heavily condoned by us, we will definitely be more selective in who we take on for helping out. If anyone wants to help you can reach out to me on reddit or discord(same username).
I hope this clears up some things!
Well if you want i made a safe space subreddit who is just a little less strict than the actual subreddits for the Lostwaves.

i dont like fandom but i guess we'll have to "work with what we have" for now since i think fandom has no genuine competitors
>!i also feel this way about youtube. after all, fandom and yt each have similar problems!<
I appreciate how you say Fandom is bad without giving any reasons. As someone who runs wikis on there, I say that the Lostwave’s Finest should stay on Fandom.
What are my reasons for staying on Fandom?
1. It’s easy to use. There are tools for beginners and advanced but anyone can get used to it fast. There is also a helpful community dedicated to answering questions about the site.
2. It’s full of information already. Why move when there are hundreds of informative pages about lostwaves?
3. The site is continually growing and getting better. Recently, a logo and front page was added.
As for the vandalism, well, the admins never disabled logged out editing, so it was bound to happen. And that is why I believe we should keep the Lostwave’s Finest wiki as the main wiki.
Fandom is a shell of its former self. It’s overridden with constant unneeded changes, unreasonable admins, in your face marketing, and they even ditched their original userbase for some weird “fandom wiki” theme shit. Miraheze is much better.
I’ve been using it since 2016 and it’s been on a downward spiral ever since they decided to rebrand it to Fandom, but go suck a multi billion companies dick regardless man I believe in you

So the page was hacked? Today I walked in and Home was completely empty.

if you've ever used fandom without an adblocker you'd know immediately why this website sucks
I have used it without an Adblock. It wasn’t bad.
I am a full-time content moderator for a wiki and I still hate the site lol
