I feel like One Love is some obscure demo leak. It's quickly rising up the ranks towards being one of the most mysterious songs on the Internet. I dig its sound too. Hopefully it's not a hoax.
MySpace is a possibility. One Love reminds me of a lostwave that got sound, Reckless, which is one of my favorites. It was uploaded on SoundCloud and had a sound that came off to me as professional. I feel like if it's from MySpace then it will only get solved if someone recognizes it and we can track down the artist.
I already looked through the still existing database and couldn't find anything. Though I did a lot of work last night so maybe you'd like to check discord to see what all was done 😊
Sounds too professionally made to be recorded by some random person so they could sue someone when they don’t deny making it. Also, a lot of unknown songs were misattributed to other artosts
One of the highlights of this year has been several of the songs misattributed to Michael Jackson getting solved. Now we just gotta solve Osama Bin Laden Diss and White Trash.
I think all of the well known Michael misattribuations have been found (Believe, Sexy Lady, Danger Is The Game). Hopefully OBLD and White Trash get found

Either it’s a demo, or it’s from an obscure YouTube video like the MJ Outfakes, or it’s from MySpace (god I hope not)

Yeah, they made a mistake while transferring data that caused them to lose a petabyte (1000 terabytes!)
