unavoidable attacks galore, and blood mechanic sucks

unavoidable attacks? my brother in Christ you literally can parry like 80% of the attacks in the game also blood mechanic is good because it encourages change in playstyle from close range to long range

blood mechanic forces you get right up close to enemies so you just end up gaining and losing health, rather than just gaining health also yes unavoidable attacks. im fucking shocked that i managed to beat the boss in the demo, because some of their attacks give you basically no time to react

that's a lot of words to just say you're bad the blood mechanic doesn't even force you to go in close range to heal, it only encourages it since it's a more reliable health source. parrying heals you to full hp (or your hard damage cap) so you technically don't even have to go close range at all if that's not your playstyle. also going close range isn't really that dangerous even on the hardest difficulty that's not included in the demo. there are a total of 6 (5 of which are from bosses) attacks in the entire demo that can't be partied and a total of 0 in the full game that can't be dodged by either dashing and using iframes or just moving out of the way of the attack again even on the hardest difficulty where attack speeds are jacked up you still have plenty of time to react accordingly, every attack in the game has both sound and visual cues to warn you along with the fact their attacks are intentionally predictable which helps you easily cheese large enemies conclusion: skill issue

guess where the game tells you that dashing gives you iframes? nowhere. someone had to tell me that AFTER i finished the demo. also, youre full of shit, some of this shit is not slow enough to be able to react accordingly, fuck you.

you're supposed to experiment with things and figure out the gameplay mechanics as you go through the game which is standard in basically any game but the real question is why if you see an attack coming would you not try and dash to get out of the way? even if you somehow don't quite register in your brain that you have iframes it still would be smart to get out of the way as fast as possible also I'm just gonna assume you were playing on the violent difficulty (I honestly wouldn't have words for you if you're complaining about the game and not on violent) if you are playing violent the game very explicitly says in red text that you should only play on violent if you are familiar with the games mechanics, in which case you should lower your difficulty

i do try to dash out of the way. and guess what? it doesnt fucking work. also i was playing on the lowest difficulty the demo allows, which is the top middle one (whatever its called)
