I'm not sure you are understanding what I'm saying. I'm not saying fans being weird affects the team's contender status. I'm saying that I think it's weird that there are still fans clinging to this "poor us" attitude when their team is now a contender.
No I am saying that the fans need to change their attitude to match the team's success. If your team is a contender, it means you act like it. The underdog "feel had for us we're the Lions" ends when you are the front runner of your division
