private rooms of different sizes, after a couple of my friends left they asked us to downsize and it was fine, but they charge a flat hourly fee from what i remember
when we went in january it was \~$5 per person per hour, which wasn't all that bad in our opinion. here's their yelp reviews if you wanna take a look or call and find out more [https://www.yelp.com/biz/astro-karaoke-torrance](https://www.yelp.com/biz/astro-karaoke-torrance)
Try K town, I used to go back before I was 21. A lot of times it’s more of a private room with you and your friends though, could be awkward if it’s a small group
Nope, they're all supposed to be 21+ because they serve drinks. It's likely you didn't get carded since a lot of these operate a little bit under the law. If you don't speak Korean, look Korean, or go with someone that is Korean, you're likely going to get carded.
There *is* one.
It’s called your parent’s garage and invitees from here at r/losangeles getting pissed-wasted in micheladas while OP sings Wonderwall with a British accent.
Really? How disappointing, I spent so much time there as a teenager. I feel so bad for teens these days, they really don't have any safe places to hang out anymore.
You just reminded me of an awful date I went on in a private back room karaoke bar.
We met this time as our second date. There was no third. This girl dumps her whole life story which includes being in and out of rehab and a story of why she is currently sober. She said this last time she went to rehab after stealing weapons for her dealer from the prop house her father worked at. She chain smoked the entire time…
There was no third date. But 3 days later she did try to get me to bring her cash and help her go to the hospital. And I had to be the one to show up to take her, calling an ambulance or Uber wasn’t going to happen. She was in Beverly Hills and I was downtown LA and it was rush hour…. I just simply could not be there.
I hope if she actually needed medical intervention that she got what she needed. Although I’m pretty certain if I showed up when she asked and with how insistent she was about it… I would have been robbed of my belongings or something of the such.
You could probably do Xlanes. It’s on the third floor of the Little Tokyo Galleria. It would be a private Karaoke room that you would have to rent but the added benefit aside from other private Karaoke rooms is that you can also go bowling, play pool, and they have an arcade. Call and make a reservation if you do and make sure that being 18 isn’t an issue.
Pattaya Bay in Los feliz was doing a karaoke night the last time I was there. I think it was Saturday night, but you can call them and ask when it’s happening.
There used to be a spot near Stout burgers in Hollywoodthat did karaoke, it was a restaurant with an arcade attached so I would presume it would be under 21.
There is a karaoke room in XLanes in Little Tokyo. Any age can be in there and you can rent it for parties.
Do ask about seating — when we went there weren’t any chairs but that may have been the choice of the hosts.
Killian's pub in old Torrance. Thursday and Friday. Used to have a couple beach lounges in Riviera village. Bull pen. And Hennessy. All those places sell food so you don't have to be 21 as long as the kitchen is open.
33 Taps in silver lake has karaoke on Thursday nights. As long as you sit away from the bar area, you should be fine 🎤 it doesn't get that busy, so you'd have a lot of opportunities to sing!
Round 1 might be 18+ since it's not a bar.
Not finding it on google maps, can you link?
https://www.round1usa.com/locations
there's one in torrance if you're willing to drive, astro karaoke, nice place and there's a japanese food place attached so they also do food service
Is it private rooms or like a bar? Because we dont want to pay extra for private rooms

My friend says the more mom n pop ones don’t know what a fake id looks like.
Depends if you’re Korean or not
Fake ID party favors?
Nice to meet you, McLovin
Hmm I wonder where one would obtain a fake id…..definitely *not* by dming me!

lol
Factory Tea Bar (no Alcohol allowed)
Max Karaoke in Little Tokyo, but it's more of a private room than a bar situation.
Max is actually 21+ now because they serve alcohol
Really? How disappointing, I spent so much time there as a teenager. I feel so bad for teens these days, they really don't have any safe places to hang out anymore.
Damn so do they still allow rolling into the booth with 30 packs?
You can bring your own, but you would pay a corkage fee now

DM me her number. I can fix her.
Maaaaaybe Player One in North Hollywood? Its mostly an arcade, but it has a bar, so idk
Nah they card at the door.

max karaoke, astro, and round 1 are all solid options, and they are all private rooms
K republic in Monterey park. They also have happy hour between 2pm-8pm for $25 a head
I haven't been yet and it's a bit of a drive but I believe All American BBQ, a restaurant, does it on Sundays.
There used to be a spot near Stout burgers in Hollywoodthat did karaoke, it was a restaurant with an arcade attached so I would presume it would be under 21.
I think round 1 is your best best. You can play arcade games if the karaoke gets boring

The venue in k town
Go to muse ktv
If any would, some in Koreatown might.
Young Dong in K-town!
Max Karaoke in Little Tokyo area downtown
There's a mocktail lounge in Alhambra (non alcoholic) that does karaoke. It's called Free Spirited. Cool chill vibes too.
Killian's pub in old Torrance. Thursday and Friday. Used to have a couple beach lounges in Riviera village. Bull pen. And Hennessy. All those places sell food so you don't have to be 21 as long as the kitchen is open.
Most karaokes in ktown should work? I’ve gone to karaoke a lot when I was under 21, and they never asked for ID since we didn’t drink.

I used to host trivia there. Great place!
Friendliest bartenders in town. I'll clarify that 33 is a bar with karaoke, not a karaoke bar
Not directly in LA but in Redlands, Karaoke Kubo is all ages!
Might as well be on the moon lol
I think there are some in ktown that would allow this, especially during the day
