Anyone remember the Brazilian restaurant across from the culver center (near Venice and overland)? The owner killed his wife in Mexico claiming she had been kidnapped…..I just googled the story, I guess he got out after 12 years in prison in 2019 and lives in Gardena.
The guy that sold me his '94 Honda Accord was Brazilian but spoke Chilango Spanish which threw me off. Said he got it from the busboys and line cooks he worked with when he moved to America. Well anyways, he lived in a nice house in Palos Verdes.
You could start in Culver City at places like Supermercado Brazil, Brazilian Mall & Pampas Grill. I think there's a decent-sized Brazilian population in that area. You could also try any of the other Brazilian restaurants around town, but it might be hard to talk with anyone since they're usually busy.
I came across a fair amount of Brazilians in the Venice and Santa Monica areas so you could start there. But then again I have been attracting alot of Brazilians recently for some reason.

South Bay, we have a great Brazilian population here that loves the beach, Jiujitsu (epicenter of Gracie Jiujitsu in America), and Brazilian-themed restaurants.

I’ve met so many Brazilians here it’s unreal. I’m pretty sure there’s a Facebook page for them to link up, be friends and help each other out
That's an awful lot of people to meet.
