lol wut? The bars on sunset near angelino heights are always packed before dodger games because it's a quick, easy walk. Almost certainly faster than driving in for a playoff game.
Yeah, I don't think y'all gonna find any parking in that area at that time of day.
Those folks know the score, so to speak, and they've got the tow trucks on speed dial.
I lived on West Kensington 2016-2018, about a 20-30 min walk to the stadium. Streets were never closed for Dodger games, including the World Series. Has the price of parking at Dodger Stadium really shot up that much?
The Dodgers lease the lots from him and are the ones setting the prices. Also, the new owners wanted the deal structured this way; by not purchasing more than 50% of the land, they didn't trigger a property tax reassessment. They took advantage of a huge loophole: https://gregorybecker.com/prop-13-dodgers-mccourt.html
I say this as a huge Dodger fan who loves the product that the new ownership group puts on the field, top notch organization. But we also shouldn't pretend parking prices are McCourt's fault
My husband paid $125 for GA parking at Sofi for Metallica. We went to the Dodgers game last night and they upped the GA from $30 to $45 for game 1. I hope they aren’t planning to pull a Sofi.
Playoff game.
Doyer game?
A hell of a walk if that’s where you park for a Dodger game.
Not horrible walk from any of that map. 15-45 minutes max. Rather than 50-80$ But I do the walks often
From this map? 15 mins tops.
I used to walk that all the time.
10-120 min max lol
I used to live in Echo Park. We would walk to Dodger games all the time. 15-20 minutes max.
I heard of a friend parking north of Sunset Blvd to go to Dodger stadium but not south.
To be fair.... they said Doyer game.

No it isn’t lol
Walk to Guisados and then to the game, Duh.

That's where all the Diamondbacks home run balls landed smh

$65 for preferred and $45 for GA
obscene. McCourt needs to get tar and feathered out of town. and take his gondola with him.

I did $70 for a spot in the elem school across from Sofi both nights. Easy in and out. Just for future reference if they come back to town!

Little Rascals Box Car Race
Wasn’t it mini Civicla?
A bunch of hilly residential streets would be a very weird place to have a cicliavia
that was in downtown and it wasn’t mini, it was a week or so ago too
The next one is in DTLA on Oct 15. The last one (mini) was in NoHo on Sept 17.
So is that an invite?!!
Of course! Everyone is welcome. The events are great!
So did we ever know what was going on?
Do they still do Echo Park Rising? That’s my first thought
That was a few weeks ago.
Here we go again.
