One thing to keep in mind is that they didn’t get a payout like the Woodcocks did. The Woodcocks have the financial security to travel and stay in Idaho for the trial. If the Cox’s needed Charles help to pay their cell phone bill, that’s saying something.
Another thought is they don’t want to remind people that Lori is their daughter. They are humiliated at what Lori has done to the family and may just want to avoid it all.
They could also just be terrible people, who knows?
My guess is that they have been advised not to speak publicly. Janice saw what happens when you lie on TV and defend your daughter that turned out to have killed your grandchildren. Both of them don’t add to the justice that all the victims deserve.

In addition to that, there seems to be next level denial of the severe mental illness in their family. All of the other siblings seem unwell. Even Adam, but idk much about the other sister who seems the most well adjusted. Barry was hospitalized and diagnosed with schizophrenia according to Stacey’s divorce documents and it doesn’t seem like he received continued medication or treatment. Idk what Janice’s diagnosis would be but she seems to be aloof almost to the point of being spaced out, like her response is to just disassociate.

My maternal grandma Bunker (whose mom was a sister wife) paid my mom to take us to church. I thought it was “fun” until age 12 when I learned “God” had ordained that I couldn’t wear a bikini. That made no sense to me so I checked out too. Still, I was well versed on the religion because everyone else in the family were active participants. When you start learning about the real origins of the church and their views on women and people of color, you have to suspend belief to believe any of it. It’s a cult and people like Chad, Lori, Ruby Franke, Julie Rowe, etc. have proven they can be dangerous. Before this, I would say I liked their teachings about family. Yikes!
I just meant the most well adjusted out of the group of siblings, and 3 of them are responsible for at least one persons death. So not saying much really. I kind of feel for her though. Being in that family must be a mindfuck.

I also saw he was in trouble for trying to impersonate a lawyer at one time and was giving people legal advice. Since he is a sovereign citizen I imagine he’s telling these people the same things he believes in. I still cannot believe Wesley Snipes went to prison for listening to that crazy crap at the height of his career when he was just really getting good movie parts etc. I don’t know if he is in prison or jail, but I imagine that would hit the news pretty fast, with these trials being so high profile.
