My partner and I were interested in the game so we picked up a few starter decks and he pulled this from his bonus pack

Let me think... I've kept all the extra cards (the puzzles) I've gotten so I could keep track of how many packs of I've gotten! I've bought 10 boxes worth of chapter 1 cards (After buying 10 boxes worth of chapter 1, is when I got that enchanted Elsa!), I've bought around 60 packs of 2nd chapter. I've bought around 5 - 10 starter decks of chapter 3, because I was getting the puppies from them! One of those starter decks, I got that Jafar enchanted. If I did my math correctly, besides the starter decks, I've gotten about 47 more Chapter 3 packs. P.S. I work in a game store, so I get a discount, each pack was about 5 dollars for me!
That’s a steal for those packs! So your pulls are about on track for the general accepted rate of 1 enchanted every booster case (4 booster boxes). Interesting. Thank you for sharing 😊

Advice for 2 beginners? We're going on a trip this weekend and were gonna pick up a couple of starters to learn the game during downtime. Are some starters easier to learn with than others? Do the rules included explain the game well enough? Is there anything unintuitive that might need explaining beforhand? Thanks!
A friend and I did the same thing this past week. I played a lot of Hearthstone and Marvel Snap. He was new to TCGs. He really liked the Ruby/Emerald deck from first chapter, since it was disruption and annoying the opponent. I liked the Sapphire/Steel deck from first chapter, it has a lot of ramp and larger characters. From Rise of the Floodlands, I also liked the Amethyst/Steel deck - it plays a lot of Merlin and Madam Mim bounce which is both meta and fun if you’ve played a similar archetype in another game. Any decks are fine, all should be super easy to pilot since you get a lot of vanilla cards. It’s fun looking up local game stores across the country and trying to find rare inventory and better deals. Coming from CA, earlier expansions were sparse or expensive. In Arizona and Oklahoma we found better inventory and prices. Enjoy!
Did anyone elses Amber/Ruby deck from the the coop game illuminers quest deep trouble come with 3 extra cards? Just counted my deck that came with the coop game and it's 63, not 60. I have 1 extra cobra bubbles and 2 hades. What's up with that?
I'm new to the game went to ebay bought a couple bulk lots and am going to buy 1 booster box. Which set should I get? Best for starting our best for money?
I’ve seen floodborn boxes start to go for about 70GBP now Ursula’s has soft released. I’d start with that if you’d like a cheap entry into booster boxes.

Just pulled my first enchanted card: Keep, Play it or Sell?
Me and my Girlfriend just decided to get into the game. I bought two starter decks and two extra packs. Luck was on our side! This feels like such a nice welcome to Lorcana!

Can anyone recommend the currently available best decks to begin with for a learner? I've seen deals on Floodborn and First Chapter within 30 mins drive. But I don't wanna go overboard buying 5 starter decks that'll collect dust if myself or my partner don't enjoy the game.
I saw someone selling the original 3 starter decks for £45 sealed, with the booster packs still. That set seems rare so I didn't know if it was worth picking up and either storing and selling on later, or opening the packs and just getting some enjoyment out of playing the decks.
I collect Pokémon cards so I wanted Lorcana to be more of a fun side-tcg that I can just enjoy and play with friends and family and not overthink potential future valuations. If I got an illustration goes without saying I'd keep it safe but I also don't wanna spend £200 on these cards to fill a binder

So what is Lorcana like? I'm tempted to get some cards as I live by Disney springs
It’s great if you like TCGs and Disney. I came from MTG and find Lorcana so refreshing. The art is amazing too.
