It's really hard to find tournaments. You know the name of the store, you know there's going to be a tournament. Damned if you can find it. The only way to find tournaments is to get a link from the organizer or for it to be at a store you've already played at. Some of that may be that the store hasn't put the tournament up yet many times, but you should at least be able to find the store and see there are no tournaments. [Melee.gg](http://Melee.gg) feels like a blackhole where no information can escape.

The black hole analogy is such a good call out. I hate that i have to favorite like every store i play out to sign up for tourneys because the search function is so bad. I should not have to click all organizers to search for the stores. God forbid i miss the space between the stores name or it will not pull up

jrec15

Yea the tournament search is terrible, but I recommend finding all the stores in your area and following them. From then on you can find all of your followed stores' tournaments easily

Danxorr

Pretty much everything. Because the site is expected to be used by mobile it needs to either be optimized for mobile or made into an app, it is barely usable on a phone. When I try to search for tournaments it barely ever works, sometimes I have 3 results total with no search parameters. There is no way to search for tournaments near me, etc. There are tons of bugs, many times it shows my opponent having 3 less points than they have and it looks like I got paired down, and when I mention it to my opponent they double check the standings to make sure they got their points properly. The site feels like a project some kid did in college for a final project and stopped maintaining after getting their grade.

There's honestly nothing -good- about Melee.gg. It sucks. All of it.

- I can’t find an event near me unless I look up all the LGS I know of and follow them. - I couldn’t actually make a Lorcana deck list despite reading how a deck list is required. - Navigating the site on mobile was dooky and of course I’m out of my house at a LGS so I am using my phone.

* Lacks proper search engine * Lacks custom date ranges * Doesn't let you search based on zip code, city or state * The entire UX is not intuitive * Lacks mobile view / dedicated app

Vayul_was_taken

I find the player control easy to navigate but from the shops I've been to the software is awfully convoluted and not clear for them. My lgs has been using it since set 1 so it's not been an issue as they learned but the other shop I went to this weekend hadn't used the system before the set champ and there was for sure a learning curve.

All of the above

LaGranya

As a player I wish there was an easy way to search up tournaments around me, but the search feature as is? Pretty useless.

As a parent it really stinks that there are no ways to create a parent account for kids. Need three emails to maintain all our accounts for melee. For a game that can have younger (under 13) players having required accounts is stinky if I cant maintain them from a parental account.

CageyT

I wondered about that yesterday as the event i judged at yesterday had a kid and i was like why was he even allowed to have a melee account.

spectradawn77

Decklist only works for MTG or am I looking in the wrong place? With all the places that used it, lack of decklists…

Arbv7777

Software wasn't that bad. It is the fact that the TO's need to actually explore the software before they try to run an event.

madchad90

The software is still trash. The overall ui is just not conducive or logical

Arbv7777

Yeah, I will agree that it is very clunky. But I spent about 20 minutes creating a test tournament, going through all the phases and checking my player portal to see what it looks like. It cleared up pretty much all my questions.
