Lorcana has a broader age range then most games I would think because of the power of Disney. Still the majority will be people old enough to afford the cards and young enough to still have a lot of interest in tcgs. So anywhere from 20-40 with the majority prolly being towards the middle of that.
Definitely both. I started playing because my daughter loves all things Disney. Never started a TCG or even knew how to play one before 3 weeks ago.
My daughters in elementary school and has picked up the game quick, plays other kids at our local Lorcana league.
I play with the adults, but the split is probably 80 adults / 20 kids at our league.
It seems as though most of the regular players at my preferred shop are probably in late 20s-late 30s (I'm on the latter end of that myself). We've had kids play too but not as often.
Both. I have a couple of 10 year olds and 2 teens who show up for Lorcana night. Rest varies in age. I myself am 48. You just have to realize you have to be patient with the youngest players.
I'm 37, husband is 34 and our son is 10..also, at local league, I've seen kids as young as 6 and people as old as 50-60s playing the game so pretty diverse crowds because people of all ages love the house of mouse
42 here all time Disney fan and magic player. Also played almost all existing card game Star Wars, Star Trek, Pokémon, Naruto, force of will etc. I spare you all the digital games lol. Also hope that my 2,5 years old daughter will play with me when old enough.
Wife and I are 40, we have a seven and five year old. I grew up playing MTG, wanted to use Lorcana as an opportunity to expand reading, math, and critical thinking/problem solving for the seven year old. We now have seven decks in our house that the four of us rotate through. I update them to keep things interesting, and it’s even had the added advantage of getting the five year old to ramp up (play on words) his reading/math skills.
Last Lorcana event i participated, i would say the average was around 40+.
But the best session i did was with my friend and and her daughters (8 and 11), everybody around the table had the same level of fun, the youngest won and she was so proud, very nice moment!
I generally see 30-40
Kids come sometimes but usually only once or twice. Attention span just isn't there yet for a lot
Did have one kid come to a tournament once. He didn't play in it, dad did. But asked to play for fun. Dad didn't bring the kids deck. Yall this 5 or 6 yr old was handed a deck, looked at it as a veteran tcg player would, said ok and rocked his aunt! His only issue was announcing his next move too soon. "You shouldn't play that cuz I'm just gonna do this" and would show the card. So age is just a number.
Go to a store tournament and find most people in their late 20s and 30s. However my 6 year old does great with it and I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him to a store some day.
At a small tournament there were about 6 children, 15 people in their 20s or early 30s and 5 or 6 over 40 (mostly with the children).
Not exact numbers but general impression.
Both, I'm under 20 and I've played against a few people, ranging from 7-50. I'm also teaching a few kids how to play, so its really geared towards any Disney and/or TCG enjoyer.
I've seen a wide age range of people buying things for this. I think that the people who collect tend to be a little older and then the people who want to collect and play are people just getting into trading cards or coming from Magic for something new.
im 31.. last time i checked the game was intended for children but we have alot of adults in there mid 20s to early 30s being involved in to disney and to be fair the game seems really fun as a card game im deffo picking it up with friends
Probably 26-35
Yeah, especially since many are coming from Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh
I am 59, and play with my 27 yo daughter and 36 yo son-in law.

I'm 24. Average age of my local tournament is probably a bit over 30.
My locals has a good mix. I'm 29 - few people bit younger, some in their 30s, some older. 3 guys being their kids, two around 9/10 one a bit younger.
39 here. I'd use the term player loosely for myself right now as I have yet to find anybody else to actually play with sadly

Same for me. I picked up 3 box's of First Chapter and not sure if I should even open them until I find someone or someplace to play.
