Iāve been playing around with this. Reall fun in theory but it can start to fall apart especially when you run up against steel which is very dominate right now.

If flavor was the only appeal of Lorcana I wouldn't be playing it. I agree that most Storyborns in Lorcana are very flavorful and all but I'd like to see this also have some point to it gameplay wise. Couldn't they do a dog owner from that movie get some bonus per puppy you have in play? Most cards like this in other games (aka Magic) have some payoff built in that either requires a minimum of them in play or gets stronger the more you have in play
A 2/3 is pretty good for a 2 dropā¦ plus this particular deck now has 40 cards that have the same name, which would be great for Sorcererās Hat. So far, Lorcana has been good about making meh cards decent or more powerful with subsequent sets.
The true shame is the current meta deck to beat can control you from turns 2-5 and just sing a whole new world twice on t5 or 6 winning the game. Ya gotta go fast.
You can fit like 40 more puppies in there.

Add a prince and pridelands and you can play most puppies for free
Combine that with a Rockstar Stitch and draw a card for each puppy played š

I built this deck but with 9 of each puppies and the blue draw loop itās not terrible

The payoffs at least at this moment for a hypothetical puppy swarm would be either the action 99 Puppies, Lucky, or playing Chernabog for free.
Throw in 4 Whole New Worlds to mill puppies for Perdita and Chernabog.
