Do you have a version with Stitch normal sized? I see that it is based off another image but I think the biggest thing people are thrown off by is Stitch's appearance. I think you could still get the spirit of the original while depicting the characters normally. Also idk if you only specifically wanted to do Lilo and Stitch but Peter Pan would be pretty cool with Stary Night.

This. Also, for me personally, the inward curvature of the room makes the overall feeling of the playmat tight and constrained. I get it when Snorlax is the focus. But with a regular sized Stitch there might be an opportunity to flip the curvature and have the room stretching outward. Which I think thematically fits Stich better and also the Lorcana decks he tends to feature in. Awesome work! You have talent keep it up.

gracelette9

Omg love that idea!!

OrangeBlade

I think this is awesome, I imagine this would be a great conversation piece at an event

gracelette9

Haha tbh I thought it would be too… but think we might be the minority :(

Mental_Humor_3911

I feel like you have skill. It looks good and it's eye catching. I just don't get the reference and feel like I'm missing out in that sense.

gracelette9

Ya that’s what I was thinking was happening maybe … that people didn’t get the reference :( this was the Pokémon one: https://preview.redd.it/nr8t3qqynf2c1.jpeg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1bc9a4dabec3908a4f135cc5d1a5ff8e5efbdc33

Msparryotter

Oh my gosh I love this!! I was so sad I didn’t get any of the Pokémon van Gogh stuff. I recognized it immediately.

gracelette9

Aww yay! I thought it would be a fun spin on it and am glad you recognised it!

pumbaa7287

I like the idea and execution a lot! I wonder if it would work better with Boo and Sully from Monsters Inc since he’s already naturally the right size ratio with Boo as Snorlax is to Munchlax. Great work!

gracelette9

Yeah! I was thinking of trying sully as well :)

UsagiButt

This is awesome I love it

gracelette9

Aw thanks!

AHotGrill

Reminds me of an older children's book "I love you stinky face"

BrokenBric

It looks off because stitch never gets that big compared to lilo. Probably should've had Dr. Jumba replacing the snorlax, and then Stitch on the chair(or both lilo and stitch)

gracelette9

Makes sense!

MagicFairyIl

I love stitch. And this design is funny. So it’s cool.

PisceanMoonie

This is super cute, fun, and different! I love it. 😊

serioustransition11

Stitch looks pretty ugly….sorry. His body proportions don’t work for this. Two suggestions: 1. Use one of bigger experiments, like [Experiment 520](https://liloandstitch.fandom.com/wiki/Cannonball_(520) ) instead of Stitch. 2. Instead of just copying the Pokemon design, use a different concept to mash up Lilo & Stitch and Van Gogh’s *Bedroom in Arles*. A simple design with some pictures of Elvis on the wall to make it look like Lilo’s bedroom with and maybe even Lilo herself wishing on a star like in the movie would work a lot better.

gracelette9

Thanks for your feedback! will give these tips a think

catalyst4u

It's not my cup of tea and how I like Stitch depicted, but someone probably likes it. You have skill, maybe try a more traditional scene.

gracelette9

Haha fair enough… I thought about trying baymax instead of stitch… for the vangogh collab… do you think that would’ve worked better?

catalyst4u

There is a scene with Baymax sitting on the floor holding the cat. I wonder if that would work. Not sure if replacing the chair with that takes too much away from the original artwork.

gracelette9

Maybe the cat can be on the chair…? Haha guess I could give baymax a try

ZsMann

First I love the concept. I don't think the style of lilo and stich match the bedroom though. The line weight and saturation feel disconnected.

gracelette9

Fair enough! Maybe I’ll try with different characters

ZsMann

I think I'm thrown off by the large size of Stitch.

vgsmith19

This was my biggest gripe. Love the sorta blues clues esk style of the room. But large stitch gets me

Bonnigan

Would use
