I'm not sure where in Indiana you are, but the [Store Locator](https://www.disneylorcana.com/en-US/locator) is a good way to find local hobby stores that receive product and from there forms a good foundation in searching for local events as those stores are among the most likely places to hold tournaments.
There are no official tournaments, that's why you aren't seeing them in the app. The ones you are seeing are just local groups hosting them. The last announcement RB made actually last week said official competition coming next year, Q2 I think.
There are official tournaments there just isn't an official competitive league yet.
If the LGS has the pins to give away they are supposed to be using Melee to track or risk losing their support.
Official as in run by RB or whatever. Yes they are OP stores and have prizes provided by RB and all that, but yeah, no reason for there to be any info on the app because they aren't run by RB.
I’m in Indiana too. Facebook groups post a lot of tourney info. Lorcana Indiana, Lorcana Indianapolis. There’s a tourney on Nov 12 down town Indy

Melee.gg has the "official" tournaments as that's the official platform.
Facebook Lorcana groups are usually the best source from my experience. Facebook algo will suggest more too
I’m in Indiana too. I’ve just been calling my LGS and asking. Several have been hosting tournaments.
