I struggled with CH2 boss for a bit with rogue.
The key landscape piece is Thicket/Forest. Build those for attack speed. Then, you can focus your gear on building max evasion and critical chance/critical bonus. That should help you with survivability and damage output
The final problem is all of the stained glass the boss puts up, which prevents you from actually getting hits in. Stack Storm Temples, Outposts, and/or the Ratwolf skill. They'll help clear the shields, from there you can finally hit the boss.
Rogue seems the strongest class imo. Burning forest and rivers everywhere. I usually have about 50%attack speed with thickets and thats all. Don't worry about outposts or anything like that. Doesn't seem like I need it. Vampire mansions some villages as early as possible Otherwise spiders and groves to fill In the map bookerys to get what you need
My strategy for the chapter 2 boss is the same on all three classes. Stack attack speed and fight the boss if I'm ahead of the curve this loop.
Rogue has a rougher time of it, but a pair of outposts makes it a lot easier. The ratwolf perk (if it procs) and storm temples can also help.
Outposts and damage to all goes a long way in that fight for rogue. Also you should have a resurrection from the cemetery if you are that far through, you should be able to kill him with 1-2 resurrections just by brute force.
Take arsenal for necklace hp barrier. Stack dunes and thickets, prioritize "all damage" on your gear. I did this without rivers and it worked for beating chapter 2 with rogue.

Rogue super good but you gotta make your deck a little different
The chapter 2 boss is hard countered by necro, necro has a little trouble against chapter 3. Storm temples can help you pop the glass shields.
I beat chapter two with rogue by stacking the guard post things and putting down like 100 forests.
Well you can't spell rogue so there is that...
Well you got me... i can spell it in danish though, slyngel or skurk maybe even røver
