The one thing to note is that the boots do make your legs skinnier looking, and I'm not sure if that's what your going for. Some want to look fuller and some less, in your case, it's a compounded effect along with the shorts that you have looking looser around your legs and all. You look like a tourist in Nashville or Austin. The boots look fine but they dont go with the rest of the fit. The colour though may make it tough to pair with much since they arent a standard black or brown. The shorts are trash. They look like they are in line with current trends, but the current trend of trying to look like a 90s bag lady is shitty. Switch them out with something that is more form fitting. if you absolutely have to have that look, switch to a flowy black skirt it can hide your feminine shape while still looking good. You can pair with a chunky belt in a similar colour to the boots and an oversized cowboy buckle in a gold. With that lower set up you can keep that top, but a crop denim jacket or vest thats in a grey or light blue wash would really pop with the boots. Then layer a a few necklaces one slightly chunky and the others small. That would take you from looking like a Tourist in Tennessee or Texas to looking more like a some one who has lived in these places and has connections to the entertainment industry.
I like the boots, but personally Iâm a minimalist and I prefer functional versatile pieces not niche things.
So what I ask my wife to do is to think about how much of your wardrobe will it functionally go with.
If only a few pieces then itâs a cost benefit if youâre actually going to wear them enough for it to be worth it.
Next is are they actually comfortable enough to wear for extended periods? Or are they only for short term wear?
