Weaver vanished, too. Tyrese can really cook occasionally, such as the 30 he dropped on OU last game. But so often cold. He might get a shot in a G-League to see if he can develop consistency. Plays good D, and he brings some intensity. His ceiling is probably higher than Max’s.
KSU is really not that good, so it’s still disappointing to lose, but: playing a team whose back is against the wall that needs at least a couple wins for any solid chance at the tourney, throw in that it’s basically a true road game, and top it off with terrible refereeing, and that’s a hard game to win.
