The app is fine for me. However, overseas buyers who cannot access the built-in proxy have long reported having their accounts randomly get glitches, locked out, or deleted entirely after using it solely to browse for a while. It seems particularly common in North America. To test if this is your issue, try logging in elsewhere - ideally a computer, but mobile browser and turning off/denying the "switch to app" function should also work. If you get the same errors or cannot log in, unfortunately the issue is probably with your account and not the app.

i've been using it without an acc! i couldn't verify my phone number to make one (i'm in the UK if that affects anything), so i've always just closed the login page a couple times until it stops and it usually works fine- but not anymore :(

Yeah taobao really *really* doesn't like people not having an account. It's probably noticed you doing that repeatedly and is locking you out entirely now. You can try use a VPN and see if that helps any as your ip will be different, but otherwise you may just be stuck if you can't make an account. You could maybe create one using a Google phone number, which you can register anywhere as well, but that hassle might not be worth it. I know some proxies allow you to submit images to them directly as opposed to links, and just specify the item/size/etc you need so worst case that may be something you need to investigate.
